I feel a lot for Stanley. It’s definitely bizarre, but he has no bad intentions and feels safe feeling cared for like that and being spoken to sweetly. I think it says a lot about his childhood.

ok but the mermaid swimming is actually insane talent. those silicone tails are extremely heavy and you have to entirely reprogram the way you were taught to swim in order to not drown when using one. and holding his breath for that long is also impressive. i've used a lighter tail once or twice at a friends house and she was adamant about teaching me correctly and not letting me in the deep end because of the drown risk. you have to be a very strong swimmer. i don't think i would actually roleplay as a mermaid or drive a long ways to use a tail, though. plus those tails are apparently thousands

Nah. No harm is done. Usually it’s folks on the autism spectrum just living their best lives, and it’s beautiful to see them happy. It’s incredibly healthy. You can just say you don’t know anything about autism and continue your day.
Not true. Some ppl go through trauma and they have coping mechanisms. I had a friend who had autism and she never did any of this.

0:23 It's called ABDL or CGl [that's an L not an I] depending on how you regress (IF YOU DO-- that's a psychological condition that people can experience and should only be diagnosed by a doctor of medicine) or what age range you prefer during age play. ie: baby space, little space, being a middle (preteen to tween age range), or even being a Caregiver. 😊😊😊

You're potentially correct. If Stanley experiences true, uncontrolled age regression diagnosed by a medical doctor, it's his mind's effort to cope with trauma he may have experienced at one point in life.
On the other hand, if he merely enjoys age play, it still can be a psychological coping mechanism. Either way, past trauma could be a factor. 😊

Its apart of age regressing/ABDL. Age regressing is a very healthy coping mechanism for people who had a bad childhood or child hood trauma, there's nothing wrong about it.
