Mounting the AC | Spartan Manor E07

- In this episode we tackle mounting the 80 pound AC unit on top of the trailer over the center vent hole, which takes a lot of preparation to get it ready. The roof work of this 1949 Spartan Manor vintage camper trailer is really starting to come together, thanks in large part to my neighbor Scott helping out.
Overall, this part of the project cost about $1,100 and took around 6 hours to complete.
For selecting an appropriately sized AC unit, looking around online gave a rule of thumb: 500 BTUs per foot of trailer. So this unit, with 13,000 BTU, should be enough. And of course this will depend on where you live and how well the trailer is insulated.
