So I picked up the Rebel and I’m absolutely loving it… the wife said it’s not loud enough so she got me the Vance and Hines exhaust 😂 Unfortunately shitty weather today as you know😢 but I’ll be riding tomorrow 👍
Please practice emergency breaking!!! I recently bought a Yamaha xsr700 and I was to worried about dropping the bike if I practiced emergency breaking before I put frame sliders on. Not a month an a half later I am in hospital unable to walk (I'll make a recovery) with destroyed bike, from a crash I can't remember. And even though the crash was the car drvers fault, I can only help but think could it have all been different if I practiced. Obviously I had practice emergency breaking on my other bike but every bike breaks differently.
I just got back from a cheeky practice ride to Ringwood. I never realised what ratbags the right turn arrows at traffic lights at night are for riders. They don't change. If you obey 'em you'll need a haircut by the time ya get home. Still, mustn't blub. Safe riding all. Yip! Yip!
@@sergeantwombat I think it's a Ringy thing. They've got signs saying the turn arrow won't change every cycle. I've never seen those before. I got stuck for five cycles. It might also be bikes don't trip 'em. Experienced rollers, like yourself, know how to wangle themselves about the joint so they don't caught like an animal. I gotta hone my wangle.

That's unfortunate! I hope you're okay!
@@sergeantwombat thanks. I'll be right, just gotta give it some time lol
Me: There's never a bad time to practice!
The riding license exam conductor: 🤬
hahaha
This is why I go to the gym and lift 3 times a week. So I can pick my bike up off the ground.
It's the only reason
I did that too today.
We will be doing more rides in summer.
Our very closed rider group
The best way to do it
