It is true that the features ' make or break' the project, and it is why I have a few toys left unfinished. This video is just so useful. It would be really helpful to make a similar video for crochet amigurumi. In particular which yarns you use for skin tones, I always find it so tricky finding fleshy tones that aren't too beige or too orange!
I just discovered the dmc natura. i love love it so much even though it splits. the bright colors are the best. i also like how it does not have any shine because of the matte finish.

It actually just depends. Typically my knitted ones don't. The only ones that stand up on their own are a couple of my crocheted ones like the Pica Pau frog that has two very sturdy legs. A four legged toy also might be able to stand on its own if the legs are stuffed really firmly. Hope that helps. 💓
