Designed and developed exclusively for the PlayStation Portable gaming system, this version of "Spider-Man 2" is a linear 3D game with 19 levels. Spider-Man has to complete various objectives to earn Hero Points and the game features the main villains: Mysterio, the Rhino, the Shocker, the Vulture, and Dr. Octopus.

actually, the psp version of spider-man 3 game LOOKS SIMILAR to the awesome swinging physics of spider-man 2 ps2. I havent player that famous ps2 game so i cant really tell if its the exact but to what ive seen, Spider-man 2 psp felt like a Spider-Man 1 on ps2, while Spider-man 3 psp felt like a Spider-man 2 on ps2.

@neko_gabby_ literaly is tbh, the assets are modified to be able to play on the psp and the levels are just edited to fit the story

This is actually just a port of the first Spider-Man movie game with an adjusted story. Not a port of the actual Spider-Man 2 game.

The PSP version was also released for Wii and PS2, so definitely not the only* one.
It doesn't have free roam just on some missions and even when it had the web swinging really sucked which is the worst part because the thing I love about sm2 is the web swinging

@@GimmeSkooma i think psp at the time was only exclusive to linear games and when gta got to psp it was truly about the speed that was managed because the limited mesh and hardware at the time so that is why psp was only exclusive to linear gaming

Here's a friendly reminder before playing this game. Fill up your storage to atleast 2gb. If you don't the game will complain about you having insufficient storage and won't let you save the game. Apparently its a bug where it uses a different save method that dosent recognise the memory card when it's above 4gb.

Bruh there are so many games on psp that are a 1:1 copy of the ps2 version, yet you pick this one... It's literally a re-skinned spider man 1. Spider man 3 on the psp on the other hand ran on the big oll spidey 2 engine, with an actual open world, side quests and all the bells and whistles that came with it. So yeah, spider man 3 is far more impressive on the psp.

Terrible game, awful writing and voice acting, horrendous camera angles and controls, lame combat etc.
