Damon, sorry to hear about the health complications you've went through lately. I'm here just to let you know, me, and my family are keeping you in our prayers. Please, stay positive and strong. Thank you so very much for this video, we appreciate you sharing your precious thoughts with us.
When I clicked this video I unconsciously thought that you were a UA-camr with hundreds of thousands of followers and assumed this video had thousands of views. I was surprised to see your subscribers. Underrated!
Great video I learned this late in life, I was a musician early in life and got caught up in always wanting and needing more equipment and better instruments but the answer was not in having more and better the answer was me sitting down and learning how to play what I had but I did not want to put in the time and work that it took to become a good musician. At 62 yrs old I started playing music again and now I realize it is not what you have it is how you use it.
you may already have a video for this, but if not do you mind sharing your list of free fun activities? also thanks for the insight in this video :) i appreciate the lack of over stimulating noises/editing/music and whatnot
I haven’t made a video but would love to include it in a video. Thinking it’s probably time for a Q&A soon! Absolutely! I am really enjoying this slow more intentional editing style so I am so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for reaching out!
Love the "Cons"... Then I realized it applies to integrity... all the things I dont do is related to the cons... Eating sugar and carbs... Booze... Over eating... Infidelity... Lying... Stealing... Sloppy work... ...my ideals and values evolved out of the lessons learned from... the cost, what was at stake, the pain and suffering which results from experiencing the cons... mine go way beyond "dust"... but its still suffering...
There are limits to frugality. I pulled back from being mean, grasping and miserly. I keep things in proportion, especially as I have more than enough money after a lifeline of shrewd, considered buying. Enough is what I aim for. It's just not in me to waste money and I give money in a way that does maximum good.
Sometimes you can just stumble onto a new video suggestions and know immediately 'This is a hidden gem'. I'm sorry to hear you had health trouble. I hope it keeps going better for you. Thank you for your clear information, happy to dive into the back log!
So great! Your insight and ability to communicate your ideas is really a gift! Keep up the good work and I am praying for good health to continue after your recent episode. And your heartfelt comments at the end were uniquely vulnerable and powerful. Most men do not have the guts (or the words and connection to their psychological/emotional experience) to convey what you did in that epilogue.
Thank you Jimmy! I really appreciate you mentioning that, I grew up getting a lot of grief for being so “quiet” and in reality I was struggling so hard with what was happening inside. I have worked so hard to get it to come out and feel confident in myself so this comment means a lot. Thank you for that. Have a great day🤍
I agree with you, I however believe that wealth can be achieved through frugality but it can also be achieved through a plethora of other ways also! Thank you for reaching out!
Cinemas are so expensive here you can spend the equivalent of $27 if you are considering to buy popcorn plus a soft drink haha. I can make the same exact popcorn for the equivalent 2-3 dollars.
This is very true. Trying to gain attention or image through spending money isn’t it. I find that fulfillment in God and Jesus. Material things won’t cut it cuz we keep wanting more and more and more!
@@DamonCassidy Oh wow that's awesome to have both parents as entrepreneurs, I would love to hear about how they started their first business haha, also I am quite bad at being a businessman too, in general anything that involves money and math I m really bad at it haha

Stephen thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate that! I am glad you enjoyed🤍
Great advice; as a mental health professional can confirm - define who you are and what your values are, and let the rest fall off
So glad you enjoyed!! Thank you for sharing that with us!🤍

Thank you for your kind words!! Glad it provided value!🤍
I use to take 3 spoons of sugar in My Coffee. Every month I reduced ½ a spoon. I now drink strong Filter Coffee without sugar. That was in 2005/2006
Excellent! What a perfect example! Thank you for sharing

@@DamonCassidy No problem, glad that I found your channel :)
nobody's ever gotten wealthy by living frugally, you should actually spend MORE money on the things that make you happy and bring value to your life.

Exactly! I may smuggle some snacks into the theaters to save money haha🫣
I worked at a movie theater. They charged 9 dollars for popcorn and it took 3 cents to make. Crazy.
@@elizabethmcbride222 wow!! So crazy
@@DamonCassidy Try smuggling a chocolate bar or something small that you ca out in your pocket I found some people doing that over the years 😂
@@HouseofCaesar I do a sneaky little trick of wearing a hat and having snacks under my hat haha
