What I’ve done that helps reduce electricity cost is unplugging appliances or whatever that’s in use often. It’s not a big saver but gotta save wherever we can.
Nicholas I really enjoy your work. I have been self employed as a professional pet sitter for almost 23 years. I understand wholeheartedly about debt, use of credit cards and the benefit that it brings. I am 65 years old and feel like I have developed a minimalist attitude that becomes more refined with age. I am proud for your success as your content has helped me. Keep up the great work. Sharon in Houston
My Mom raised me with a "avoid debt like the plaque"-mindset. 😂 So therefore i had not a single debt (beside necessary monthly payments for car-insurance etc.) in my life and i am greatfull for that. Love your videos❤ Greetings from Germany.
I only started getting into this habit a few days ago when I realized how much the clutter was bothering me. I'm 20 and my entire family is really messy and just throws stuff around, typically for me to pick up later. I noticed recently while I was studying colleges and what I want to go for how messy I had been allowing my room to get because I was either distracted by that or my phone. Then I started thinking about all of the stuff I have but don't really need and it got me searching up ways to remove all the clutter from my room. I found your channel and watched a couple videos, then one night had to pause and do a double take because you said "and make sure to wait till the subscribe button goes to sleep and put a mandrake root under it's pillow" and the second I made sure I heard it correctly I subscribed because I honestly love dry humor (I can thank homestarrunner for that)
Another great tool for saving money is credit cards, I always put all my expenses on my credit card . If you pick one that has a cash back when you spend, its amazing how much you can make by year end. Of course it needs to be back to zero every month. Great video as always Nicholas💥
I really love your videos and content. My husband and I do many of these things you mention but car insurance is something we’ve never truly looked into trying to reduce. I’ll be exploring that idea now. Thank you!
I'm surprised you didn't mention paying for car insurance by the year instead of by the month. My car insurance company charges significantly less if you pay a year at a time, and you can put the money you would have used for a monthly payment straight into savings, ready for next year.
Nicholas, greetings from Brazil, yes nowadays your videos really given me a ton of value, I've been checking your videos since I think mid 2021 because of my interests on UA-cam and you have been recommended to me since then. Sorry to say that but It's a compliment, back in the day I felt tired of the repetition on your videos and how much inserts footage you use again and again, for sometime I even avoided your videos because I was something so slow. But now, for real, your editing style have gotten so nice and smooth and faster to be digested, after the video you talked about your iPad mini and how you use it to make animations I remember I felt a sense of joy every time you drop a new video. Thanks for that evolution through the years, sorry to say your editing style was too slow but for real nowadays the timing is getting perfect (I'm a video editor freelancer myself, and learning too). Someday you should do a video about your animations made on your iPad mini and how you do it, using a screen recorded footage maybe, you don't have to take my advice too serious, just do it If you feel like doing it. Have a nice weekend, sincere congratulations about your evolution since back in 2021.
@@NicholasGarofola Thanks for your reply and de meaningful content. I always wondered If you use a 64GB iPad Mini or the 256gb one, since 2021 I think about getting one just for simple graphic design like you make use of yours, you think the 64gb mode is enough or no? No rush for answering me back, have a nice week !
You said Geico, have you looked into AAA? I nearly fell out of my chair when I found out how low they are and have been with them for 13 years now. Just a thought.
Unrelated, but.. Have you read "The Power of Letting Go: How to Drop Everything That’s Holding You Back" by: John Purkiss ? Bit of context: I was reading "Essentialism" around the time you've released that video and it stuck with me, so whenever I come across a book, I wonder if you've read it.
Does that mean you don’t have Netflix ? I was recently thinking about deleting my account in order to *aggresively* pay my school loans . I’m just trying to remove all the things that aren’t necessary for me to live every month but… I don’t really go out and I do prefer the shows over some of the contents on UA-cam . I just need some motivation 😢
Can you tell me what is you chair model/name from the video? I am looking to buy new office chair that is actually comfortable and will not cause me back pain all of the time. Thanks!

What can I do to bring home more income without affecting any potential tax refund in April and contributions to my 401k without affecting my future retirement?
“Snap and live off grid”.
Definitely feel that. Subscribed.

Viewing UA-cam as a substitute for film is kinda messed up
Right🤣 UA-cam has gone down so bad for the past couple years. Piracy is the way to watch films to save money ;)

UA-camrs are all for profit enterprise so it gets repetitive, Americans have tubi, freevee, cracker,Samsung tv plus ect they are free with ads
