hey so regarding why there's way less tests available now on the link - ACT issued a legal notice to me and so that's why I'm only including publicly available tests now. genuinely sorry :( hope you all understand
@@RishabJainK your face is blocking the video lol
@@RishabJainKI’ve got a 14,15 composite scores on the ACT but at least I don’t get lowest composite scores such like 1-13
When I took the practice ACT I got a 14, but after watching your video I got a 20 on the ACT.
You’re cooked
@@thejuicerisgone3215 blud he improved. Be supportive, if he improves again by 6 points he'll be up to 26, which is most near the national avg.
A bubbling strategy I’ve been doing is answering ~10-15 questions and then bubbling the questions I’ve done. This ensures I have time to bubble and don’t have to scramble to bubble at the end and also gives your brain needed breaks.
Intro: Why shouldn't you trust Princeton Review/other prep companies?
Tip 1 - How to Practice from the Official Source
Tip 2 - Grasping the math format (difficulty -> increasing)
Tip 3 - Skipping passages by type
Tip 4 - Testing Warm-up Using Auditory Technique
Tip 5 - Guessing E/K Probability
Tip 6 - Bubbling Strategy for Saving Time / 36 Test-Takers
Tip 7 - How to Approach Graphs in Science
Tip 8 - Redundancy in English
Tip 9 - How to Not Bomb
Tip 10 - Take Your First Practice Test NOW

Wow
I just brought the kaplan book 🥲🥲
I got 28 composite first try without studying for even 5 minutes so now I’m going to study and follow your tips my goal is a 32 for my second try
Great advice man. I’m an older person looking through college prep for my kids. Looking at my kids I expected immature or obvious advice. Not the case with you.
Here is my ACT story. I've taken ACT 4x and about to take it a fifth. First time, I took it in my junior year and got a 19. Second time in my junior year, I got a 20. Third time in my junior year, I got a 22, but notably, I got my reading and English up by 5-6 pts to 25 and 26 respectively. Problem is my math and science remained both at 19 for the past three tests. The last test I took though, I got a 23. English went down by one, reading went down by 4... but my math went up by 3 and science went up by 6!!! If my reading hadn't gone down and my English and reading had at least stayed the same, I would've gotten a 25, which is what I am currently aiming for. I take it in four days and my goal is between a 27-30, a 36 would be lovely, but for me as a person who struggles to take tests, it's most likely not realistic, but hey you never know. One tip Ik is that reading and science test the same skill and they shouldn't be but at max 1 pts apart. I still haven't gotten there but hopefully soon! Wish me luck and I'll be back with my new score soon :)
Wishing you luck! I’m taking mine for the first time tomorrow at 8 am! 😤
@@brandisherman4715same good luck.
Good luck!
@@brandisherman4715score update?!?
Score update?!??
Thanks for the video! I took a practice test a couple months ago, and got a 17 on my math section, 28 on Reading, and forgot what else. My composite score was a 23. I’m homeschooled until the fall, and I wasn’t doing my work as much (procrastination). I used to be an A+ student, but homeschooling and procrastination got the best of me. Since then, I’ve been studying like crazy to try and get a better score on the real deal. 10 hours from now, I’ll be taking the ACT. I’m gonna be honest, I’m quite nervous.
Score update?!?
A science teacher recommended to skip the multiple veiw questions on the science act and just bubble same answer and continue on. Then if you have time go back and do them. This strategy helped me a bunch.
that’s so fax about princeton review. i did they’re practice tests and would get ~25 most times. i then took the real thing and got a 30
Hey Rishab! I noticed that just recently the practice tests on your site were removed for some reasons, and I was wondering if there was any way to access the ACT practice tests still? I have searched for hours and have found none but the free one on the official ACT website or tests in review books. Thanks!
Hey, some practice tests can be access here: rishabjain.gumroad.com/l/act-testing-content. Unfortunately, the ACT does not permit their copyrighted tests being distributed.
@@RishabJainK Thanks! I just purchased The Proficient. I will start taking my tests tomorrow. You’re such a huge help, really. Have a good evening.
Hi, it says that the only one left is sold out. Is there anything else i can do to get one of your practice test?
I wish I would’ve saw this video before I bought the Princeton review
hey! I just want to say that I watched your video the week before the December ACT and I got a 34, so thank you!! 🤍
This honestly makes my day. Huge congrats to you!!! So glad.
Do you buy any test release or book? How to practice is online for free uhh:((
I wonder how long the E/K hack will work before they change it...
I'm 13 and not in urgent need for tips for a test I'm *never* going to take. I was just procrastinating. I have exams in a week. Your videos somehow help motivate me.
Hey! When you say bubbling at the very end, do you mean at the end of each section? Or the end of the entire test. Thank you!
He just means at the end of each individual test. You're not allowed to go backwards and fill anything in after all the tests are finished. So do the test you're on, then when you've finished all the problems on that test, go and fill in the bubbles with the time you have remaining. Hope this answers your question!
WAIT! You have a bubble sheet on the ACT???
out of all videos i watched i say i like urs the best
agreed
Can you also tell how did you learn the math required for you research? Did you learn it in school? It looks like that machine learning requires a high level of mathematics skills such as multivariable calculus and Linear algebra
Some calculus I learned from school. Other math I self learned via courses and reading online.
@@RishabJainK Amazing! Btw have you designed your website? It is amazing!
@@MohamMeD-kd8gj yes, I designed it using a bootstrap template.
And should i go for ACT or SAT (considering i really struggle in engish language as it is not my first language though i study in an english school, Im fairly good with mathematics as i pursue the Cambridge A levels curriculum
I would recommend going for the ACT. For reasoning, please check out my video on why the ACT is better than the SAT.
@@RishabJainKThankyou for your opinion, Dont you think i will struggle with ACT as 75% of it is english? while only 25% maths
@@MohamMeD-kd8gj yes but the reading & English sections are easier.
The best way to find out is to take a practice test of both the SAT and ACT.
@@RishabJainK Thankyou
The problem is that I can't skip passages cuz The test id digital here in Egypt
yes you can, every 10 questions is a passage and the order is always the same
@@b.o.b8742 Too late homie, I already knew that
Bro I got 21 composite i hate myself imma retake
As an international will bubbling e&k for digital ACT work?
Sorry - I'm not sure about this. There isn't much documentation about the non-US ACT online, so I'm not sure.
@@RishabJainK if you have any suggestions from any of your international friends , please make a video through them
Absolutely. In fact, I plan to do some interviews with international high-achievers soon!
I’m taking it for the first time in February idk what to expect 😅
Me too. I’m high key scared
how was it???
taking it for my fifth and final time and I've gone from 19 to 23 and I'm trying to go up at least 4 pts in one test tmrw Dec. 9. Please wish me luck!
@@SamOfTheSmokies76how did you do?? I’m about to take it on Tuesday
He said it’s +40 practice tests but I only see 1 practice test on the link. Where can I find the others?
ACT doesn’t allow their tests to be distributed. You can probably find some elsewhere online though. Good luck!
Optimice Prime
Pl remove Background music it's headache
Did you take the ACT with or without the essay?
I was going to apply but idk which is better
I took it with the essay but that's ONLY because my high school required me to do it. But, 99% of colleges don't care for it. Take a look at it online and if it's not required for the colleges you're aiming for, don't take it imo.
