i know we probably won't get your reaction or thoughts on the Stauffer family but i have to say you are one of the only family bloggers i still watch and enjoy, i love how your kids aren't the focus of the videos, and that you have adopted ethically and for the right reasons

You are the true example of adopting children (even with special needs) and treating them like your own. I am still so upset with the Stauffer family and when I look at your guys family (with even more children) and see how you guys truly care and set such an example, it makes me even more upset that they couldnt fight for their son even after being with them for 3 years. So heartbreaking!
You can tell how much CR loves filming this, and enjoys cooking for his family, I love it!

I love how you guys actually SEASON the food! Drives me nuts when I follow recipes and they don’t season the food! Then they taste it and talk about how it was so good. I’m like, HOW?!!!!

It's not really something they need to involves themselves in. If you've watched for a while, you can guess they are heartbroken as they are advocates for vulnerable children. No need for them to add to the chaos.

I just want to say , you guys are my favorite❤️ I love how you have protected your children, both adopted and biological- their privacy, their story, the story of their first parents, etc. I didn’t understand why you didn’t share certain aspects before, but since seeing the crap by Myka, I understand better and respect you both for the parents you are. Thank you guys for being you!

Please keep posting recipes! I make tons of stuff, but we’re completely in a rut and looking for MORE recipes with simple ingredients that we can make for our 6 person families. We have huge eaters here..... so we’re looking for recipes that make enough to feed all of these hungry kids. I love your channel!
Girl, I just found your channel a week or so ago. So much good stuff. Don't apologize for the meals you shared or feel the need to add a disclaimer that they weren't eaten "consecutively"! You are cooking healthy, homemade meals for your family and not just taking them for fast food all the time (though once in a while is no big deal either ;) ) You and your husband put so much work into these videos and the meals- and for 8 kids!?! I'm a group exercise instructor and a mother of 4 and live overseas- and I'm not going to tell you "such and such needed more macros or the intake of greens was lacking, bleh bleh bleh"- anyone who might criticize has no idea how much work you do and how totally ok those meals are! ;) I don't know how you do it all!
Oh please write a cookbook! These are recipes that really families can make and eat. Thanks for sharing.

Your story is motivating me to work towards that goal even though it seems so out of reach at times. Thanks for the encouragement!

Throw in some oyster sauce and sesame seed oil and it’ll make the fried rice even better!!
The sesame oil really gives it that “takeout” taste.
I love these videos, I only have one daughter, but I love having leftovers in the fridge for quick meals and hot school lunches 🙂

Your taco soup looks delicious! You should try mine❤️
Taco Soup
1 lb ground beef
1 onion
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 can pinto beans
2 cans hominy(white and yellow)
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 pkg ranch dressing powder
1 can diced green chilis
Brown meat and onion and then add all of the rest of the ingredients WITH their juices. Simmer for 1 hour or crockpot on low for 6 hours. Enjoy!

I only watch two families the Brandiff and the miller's. I love Angies family especially how well she and Cr take care of them you can't tell that some are adopted. Btw Benjamin is the happiest baby right now. Your kids are wonderful and I love the fact your a Christian and you aren't afraid to say so.

Try using sesame seed oil to cook rice for the first one.
Look at CR being all fancy with the way he does his spices and pours things into the dishes 😅. He’s a real food blogger 💁🏻♀️
I’m from the UK and absolutely love your griddle recipe for teriyaki chicken, we have used it so many times on our outdoor griddle already. Could you post some more griddle recipes at some point as not many people have griddles over here so it’s hard to find recipe ideas!! Thanks !

I've been hinting to the hubby about wanting a blackstone. I think I'll rewatch this tomorrow with him around so he can see that stir fry being cooked on one. We have stir fry allll the time.

I love making Asian dishes the seasonings are amazing , pineapple juice in your marinade mix Is delicious too . Fried rice is one is my favorite meals too , C.R your rice looks amazing too . Yumm!!!!

I'm glad you unfollowed Myka Stauffer on Instagram. I believe you and CR truly love ALL your children and would never do what she and her husband did. As an adoptee, many have the fear they will be given away even if they never express it. In a video, she mentioned asking you advice on adoptions. I hope people learn from her video and experience that adoption is more than just saving a child or baby to use for personal gains or discarding it when learning said child or baby has illnesses and developmental delays deemed untreatable despite agreeing to raise them when signing the adoption papers. Not only that but their adoption experiences and story are *theirs* to share if they ever feel so.
I have noticed your older girls (Kennedy and Shelby) do not appear in your vlogs as often which could be for a number of reasons. I am thinking it might be because they do not feel comfortable on vlogs and videos as much compared to the past or just busy with other activities. I am thinking it may be due to them being older and having the choice of being in videos or not which I commend you on letting them have that freedom.
I'm glad she's not following Myka Stauffer. This would ruin any friendship I had with someone.

I’m from CA but there isn’t a Benihana near my city. The first time I tried it was while I was attending a conference in Atlanta. It was walking distance from my hotel and it was sooooo delish! 😋

We make this taco soup also but we add 1 pk dry ranch dressing mix and either corn or hominy. Hominy is our favorite.
