its hard to decide which one to get. but I Think I would get the PIFR more than the CIR. as a PPL holder

Hi Mat, does sitting the IREX exam allow a Private Pilot to sit the PIRF flight test and gain the instrument raiting or can a PPL holder only obtain an IRF rating through sitting the PIFR test?
