Do they give these security licences away? It will probably be one of those tests where they give you the answer... But they don't really don't tell anybody👍😂😂

Great video, stunning, It's clear from this and other interactions that a security SIA badge is a joke and the training is pathetic, like many of the "approved" training cards, within both building trade, security, etc. Makes you wonder why he was so scared to be filmed (manic almost)?

A more pertinent question to ask is why do the organs of local government employ foreigners who neither comprehend English or the Law. It's your money they are wasting.
Wants to be "security". Doesn't believe in transparency or accountability or helping the very people he's paid to help. Knows nothing about the basic principles of UK law. Therefore can only be a bully or a thug who wants to make up his own laws. He serves absolutely no purpose in his "working" role.
1:30 Security breaching CCTV guidelines. CCTV is only to monitor for crime and for the safety of the public. Asking the operator to get someone who is using their camera on CCTV and purely because the security person is misinformed about filming in public is a major breach. You'd have grounds to complain to the council.
The culture of this security guard is not to help anyone. He probably has come from somewhere where giving assistance is not normal. He needs training.

@@Deanology Thanks for your reply. Interesting, I feel the security guard was a little confused and did not explain this very well, what he probably meant is that its private land and as such you would require permission to film, even if it were a "public area", these can still be on private property, because you do not own the land. Unfortunately his interaction wasn't very good, but the guy filming should also understand the rules 100% and help defuse the issue by turning the camera off, that is their responsibility.
@@ssjgotenks2009 Nope, totally incorrect, this is why you can be done for obstruction, harassment, voyeurism, upskirting, invasion of privacy (article 8 of the Human Rights act), Article 10 of the same act, breaches of the 1911 Official Secrets Act, all amazingly from what would be described as public. We have none of this "what the eye can see" or "anything from a public area", that all came from a very poor understanding of our laws and a lot of US laws that we don't have. We also have bye laws that can prohibit certain acts and the fact that because the public are allowed access to an area, it does not mean its not on private land or property, if it is then you need to seek permission to film, otherwise you are abusing others rights. There is a lot more to photography than you think, auditors don't follow those rules, they don't care about your rights, on the other hand, a proper photographer will point you in the right direction, show you that photographers magazines will have this information in, that proper photographers youtube channels (UK) will also show you what you can and cannot do as well as actually teaching you how to use your camera properly and what sort of gear you want to start out with. Do auditors tell you any of that? The snswer is No.

If they come to the UK to work at least learn the law and how to communicate properly.

I'm guessing if you can't record in a public place, you have to record on private property or does he mean you can only record at home?
