- An armed Metropolitan Police officer has been forced to step in and shut down a group of tourists who had been heckling a British soldier standing guard in London.
A video posted TikTok appears to show a group of American tourists filming the soldier and shouting out names, hoping to get a reaction from the Household Cavalry trooper who was standing guard.

Agreed, but this kind of behavior is still not illegal, not even in the UK. Freedom of speech is guaranteed in the UK, as well as in most civilized nations. They were behind the barriers and they were not physically interfering with the guards duties (which is basically just a show for the tourists). They aren't American. You would know that if you were truly American.
It’s amazing that this even has to be said to fully grown people
As an American, I'm embarrassed.
I'm not. Those skirt-wearing, can't cut my hair as a woman, Utah types do not represent the rest of us.
Same.. gives us all a bad image and names.
Where's the proof they are American???
@G-y_m , their American accents!
@@JohnDoe-xv4rpthose girls are talking in a English accent 💀
As someone who moved to the UK I cant understand how can you be an ass to the police here. All the encounters I had with them they showed only manners, calm behaviour and absolute rationality. Those guys really dont deserve to be taken a piss out of.
it's not about deserve....it's about freedom.....
@@robjohnson9270 Oh you have absolute freedom to be an asshole. Dont be surprised if you get hit with the repercussions though.
And to be honest the cop is doing them a favour. The guards are not cops. They are soldiers with a guard duty. You do something over the line to him, he will bring you down as a threat. Plain and simple.
I cant believe how much americans are trying to defend their right (that ends on the border of their country) to be an asshole with no repercussions.
@@robjohnson9270Even with freedom, it's only good to use it responsibly. There's no reason to be a douche with your freedom. Sure, you CAN mock a guard, but it doesn't mean you should. I wouldn't mock you if you were the guard.
It's not about the police, though they definitely have their problems, it's about the dumb crown 👑 isn't?
@@robjohnson9270Freedom to do what?
Well-mannered young people. I bet their parents are so proud of them. Their faces should be blurred for their families to witness.
Cant believe people get the old uniform confused with the fact theres a trained killer under there
These girls had some bad parenting. They dont know the meaning of the word respect.
What did the guy do to earn their respect? He's just standing there....
They look like they’re Orthodox by the long skirts
@@robjohnson9270 you don't have to respect him but what did he do to deserve being made fun of like that? He's just standing there...
It's not about respect really, it's just being a decent human being...
@@robjohnson9270He's a serving member of the armed forces who may have been on active service. The real question is what had he done to deserve such disrespect from a bunch of ignorant morons who have probably only heard the word respect from a pop song!
@@B-A-L as opposed to the morons that have only heard about respect from the pro military propaganda....the military definitely has it wrong...
Ignorance and arrogance on full display. Zero respect for the values of the country they're visiting. On any day, this is crass.
What values? Those Redcoats value genocide and slavery. Not freedom.
All Americans and their brain clog
Respect?
They don't have money to defend their own island against wooden boats carrying immigrants. They rent hotels to illegal immigrants and send their own veterans to the streets.
They find money for parade uniforms for guards with flowers up their asses.
For this they deserve respect?
This is a cause for shame.
Why do they need to be told to act respectfully, they should know that already.
Completely clueless little children 🤡🤯. God bless you for making them move along
That’s what you get. Shame on the parents who raised them. My mom would have slapped my hair off my head had I acted a fool. God bless my mom. She’s the reason I never acted like that.
Usually their parents just as bad as these girls. If they were taught to respect other people they would not be making fun of the guard doing his job.
Are you a black American?
and yet, you're on the internet acting a fool anyway, posting stupid comments.....
British guards and police officers are SO polite! Congratulations from Brazil.
Simp harder...
Do you seriously think he was going to go on an expletive laden rant in front of a camera. It would mean they could complain of poor treatment and how awful he spoke to them. He spoke to them the way any other police officer in the world would speak to someone.
@@cherrytraveller5915Wow police are the same globally?
That is nothing short of incredible.
As long as you'r not in the guards face or touch him.
A congratulations from Brazil 😮 can I get one too 😏
Well done to the copper for telling them to piss off
There you go. There should be repercussions for behaving badly and disrespectfully.
