I'm in usa, wish we did another lockdown but we have 30% of individuals holding our country hostage my soul breaks for the medical community I dont know how they are physically and mentally managing all tru this chaotic challenging times... I send many blessing for them daily for their continued strength....cant believe the hate we have from the 30% of citizens here in usa...this is why I binge watch ytube channels often... that I very much enjoy...it negates the heavy feeling in my soul..on the upside I've learned so much info/ techniques/ skills that I've always wanted to learn and I've done a art bucket lottery list..lol..plus I feel like I've finally found others in my art community that enjoy the same things pencils pens books and paints....I'm so much appreciate of your dedication to put forth your skills and knowledge. I just realized why I enjoy the art you produce in your books they remind me of the very old books with the very beautiful artwork along the sides of the pages and how the artist did such beautiful color back then is just amazing.. ..mikelle art mom🎨✍

@@ColouringwithK That is what I am praying for. That one day soon the world to be free of Covid. I have family in the USA, extended family in Australia and good friends in the states, it hurts knowing not everyone is safe.

I don't have the pan pastels but I'm going to try some dollar store shimmery eye shadow. Thanks So much for an excellent tutorial....I'm in a southern US state and we are not locked down, just suppose to wear masks. Not a "hard hit area"..... My mother, who has passed, loved to color and used pencils and crayons. It was SO good for her in her later years because it kept her busy. I was not interested but have recently gotten into coloring. Now i know why she liked it so much!!!
I’m done with all these lock downs...sigh...we aren’t necessarily “locked down” here, but I’m ready for things to be back the way they were. Things need to go on...especially for our children who are beginning college life or trying to enjoy their last couple of years of high school, proms, graduation, etc. So grateful for coloring, music, and reading books.🥰👍🏻

Thank you for the tutorial! You seem a bit aprehensive! You should not! I really like your videos and style! I find talk thrus so much better and didactic than reviews of YET another set of pencils or art supply (I do enjoy them, but not all the time)! Love the wings and the equivalence chart to Prismacolor! Thank you for that too! Few youtubers provide equivalence charts to more popular pencils. I’m also notorious for overlooking some portions of a drawing 🤣 Pan pastels look a lot like eyeshadows! I’m wondering what the difference is? Because I have a lot of unused eyeshadow palettes!

I am always apprehensive when doing videos, especially where I am colouring on screen! I have never tried eye shadows but other colourists have. I guess they may give a similar result but pan pastels are gorgeous, so pigmented and easy to use. Hope you are having a good week.
Thanks so much. I got the foundation style brushes from Amazon and the Jane Davenport baton blenders from a store called Hobbycraft in the UK (I think they are available in other crafts stores too, try Tonic studios online).
Please stop putting yourself down for making tiny errors, you said you would show us how and you did, it was an amazing technique and I have Learned an enormous amount from just watching your videos. It’s the Cosmic shimmer Luna paste and the Cosmic shimmer sparkle chrome paste I think, you can find it on Amazon or if you type the name into Google, it should come up with places that sell it in your country

Look at the tin your Neocolors came in, does it say Neocolor i or neocolor ii. The Neocolor ii are the water soluble crayons but the other ones are not. it sounds as though you may have purchased the non-water soluble ones!
@@ColouringwithK you are right I didn’t realise there was more than one 😩 an expensive mistake, I have ordered the 11 sort look forward to them. Glad I only ordered 15 to try , now I don’t know what to do with wax crayons! The Derwent Inkblocks came at the same time I love them, got 24. Might look at getting more later but I have the pencils 24 and 72.
@@catlady256 A long time ago I bought a pack of the Neocolor i (only 15) but haven’t used them. I might see if I can use them in some way, I wondered if they could be used for backgrounds and then use a pencil blend such as Zest-it over it to make a smooth background? I might experiment. Enjoy your Inktense while you wait for the Neo’s!

I tried the neocolors and can’t understand why they didn’t activate? Did I not apply them thickly enough? They wouldn’t activate at all.?

Pan pastels are so expensive. I use my stick pastels the same way. Just rub the little brush on them and rub on the page.
Yes that’s a good alternative method and cheaper but I love pan pastels for the intensity of pigment and minimum dust from them. Thanks for watching
