I understand why they made the snipers to be star cards. To prevent campy gamestyle. I think that is also the reason why there isn't hangar where you wait for a x-wing or TIE fighter to spawn.

+Snaiper Suji Mayne From what I've heard, this isn't the case for vehicles, since those vehicle tokens and AT-AT tokens are in the same locations. So really, they aren't solving anything, if anything it's just as bad.

The T-21B does actually come with a scope I believe.
ONE TIP: He didn't mention that you can tap triangle to cancel your shot with the Pulse Canon. This saves you from wasting a shot. Other than that awesome video as always Westie.

I think I'll stick with the cycler rifle.
+Althios One thing he forgot to mention (it could be that the news came after this video) the cycler rifle will get a bullet drop and a slower bullet velocity.
+Lunar Protector yeah I unlocked it it sucks now, especially compared to the cannon. it's needs to be buffed or the cannon nerfed.

+Henri Lyyjynen The pulse cannon is perfect. It's balanced but it requires so much for it to be accurate. It's pretty difficult to use, especially against a moving target where you have to lead a considerable distance. Plus the fact that the range is pretty useless at large distances.

It also seems, from your gameplay, that it is a little bit glitched where you still get that green filter while zooming in even though you don't have the weapon equipped.
It does happen sometimes, yes, but still very rarely
one thing you should have mentioned is that thermal imploders are common to find as pick ups. since you like grenades, these can augment what you choose in your cards.
A neat thing I found out was that the pulse cannon does more damage to an AT-AT than the Ion Torpedo if you hit it in the weak spot (under the belly). The Ion Torpedo says 30 damage when the pulse cannon says 45 damage, point wise, not health wise
jet pack and cycler rifle best combo in the beta imo
Why not whip out a Cycle rifle and Pulse cannon Combo, effectivley halving the time between sniper shots.
+Christopher Coscarella add the sniper trait and you have even less cd if you can land the headshots

Use both the pulse cannon and the cycler rifle. You dont need grenades when you are far away from the enemy, so use those two and the primary and perk cards of your choice.
Good luck getting the cycler rifle because it is actually not good. U can only get a one shot kill if u get a headshot but if u hit the body u have to give some extra shots with your blaster
Hey Westie how did you make the little animation at the intro of your video where it says your name. I'm planning on making a UA-cam channel and I want to know how to do those types of thing.
What do you mean by it needs to be " charged up" ?And the blast only does about 1/2 damage to my target. I switch to my hand, scope in, and I don't see anything that says its "charging".
I want the cycles rifle, jet pack and ion grenade, all,of which were easy to get in the beta, now they're really far up the progression chain, also westie 3 hours to get rank 5? What were you doing xD

westie can you find out for me if we are gonna be able to play as droids in some future DLCs
Try it out with the bounty hunter trait... If you get to level 3 with that trait each kill you get will reset the card cool down. In other words you can play like an actual sniper and not have to wait for the cool down!
I think they could make it a primary BUT it will have a 4seconds cooldown for a "full" shot and have a bit slower travel speed to avoid camping... You could also use it as a DMR but will overheat after 7shots and it will be a 4-5 hit kill so it wont be OP :)
I hate the cycler. It had a bit of a damage drop off, plus a slow projectile speed. I like the pulse cannon better.

You can cancel the charge with a press of L1 or Triangle very handy
Bowcaster + DL-44 + Jet pack + Shield + Bounty Hunter Card- Get six kills, infinite jet packs/bowcasters with each kill. You can use the shield to protect yourself when grinding the killstreak.
if you dont cant make the shot with a full charge jut quickly switch weapons and you can recharge the pulse

i like the pulse rifle cos if you dont get a headshot it will still kill with splash damage when fully charged

When I was using it people would never stay still enough for me to hit anyone, and as soon as I stand still for 1 second I get sniped everytime.
You don't need to waste the shot, if your target moves just switch weapons and you save the card.
the cycler rifle cant shoot and moving targets and is not a one shot kill unless it is a headshot

Pulse cannon got nerfed, and accuracy is a lot worse now. Bounty hunter pulse cannon was so OP
The T21B has a scope {as do many others} in 1st person mode.
PRESS Y OR TRIANGLE TO SWAP WEAPONS (your main weapon) BEFORE IT AUTO-FIRES SO YOU DON'T WASTE THE CARD
As a sniper main in tf2, i am used to charging up before you can kill.
1# unless this is an Xbox or PS4 thing but my accuracy is not affected by movement on PC
2# the cycler rifle has been nerfed and can only kill somebody with one shot if you hit them in the head and with the drop and the significant feet per second decrease in from the projectile and is no longer a useful card
Is it even possible for dice to change their mind and make this weapon a primary I mean the game is launching pretty soon so do you think they will ever do that

just a quick point you missed buddy . you don't have to let it auto fire just hit triangle on ps4 and it cancels the shot

I've seen videos where people cancel the pulse after its fully charged.. to save wasting it.. how do they do that? (my wife is good that this) lol
While charging just click the melee button before you fire. This will cancel your charge, but still keep the rifle in hand.

What about the Headshot trait? If you have it at level 3 and only go for headshots it would take 4.5 seconds to recharge instead of 18...

I jumped in an a wing and then jumped on an at at from there and shot the a wing while the at at was moving using the pulse cannon
so fun
when I move while shooting the pulse cannon I miss but I got killed a lot of times by moving players using this weapon :/

+David Cincotta No it isn't lol, all it does is reset weapon heat.. You can easily be killed at any point. The Homing shot and Pulse cannon and the two most OP things in the game.. One shot star cards which regenerate over 20 sec, pfffff.
+Swurvin your talking about scout level 3, bounty hunter 3 resets all cool downs on every kill, allowing you to chain kills with those cards that you said were op.

fool, pulse cannon is the best card on the whole game after bacta bomb. If you know how to use it, it's also insane close range

Pulse cannon is way better than the cycler rifle. Not even close. With all the bullet drop to deal with and needing to have a head shot for a one shot kill it's no point to use it on (ps4), pc might be better dunno.
Pulse cannon is a tad tricky to aim compared to the cycler rifle but, way more effective.
