Yes, they have a new software bot that scans for violations. You have to be very careful how you word things in a post. NO SELLING DOGS in a post. Let people know you have them and how to reach you for more info. Take the conversation away from FB into messenger, email, text…anything but comments on a post. How do we use Facebook to market our puppies if we aren’t an official business yet? Asking because I read that Facebook immediately or very quickly shuts you down if you can’t prove that you’re a business. I already have puppies to sell now and I can’t create my business until after I move. I don’t want to use my personal Facebook to market my puppies for many reasons. Thank you for your insight. Also do you know where we go to see if our business name is already taken when we try to create one? Thanks again 😊
Don’t worry about having to prove anything to Facebook. Facebook only asks for business info if you want to be a seller on their platform. You can’t sell live animals on Facebook so there’s no point in trying to become a Facebook vendor for the purpose of sales. We use Facebook to share information. We sell the puppies on puppies.com or on a personal website. You can use Facebook to point to your sales activity on those platforms. Just like I teach in the video you can use messenger on Facebook and discuss whatever you want including prices and availability just don’t discuss sales specifics in a public post. That’s what will get you in trouble.

I have 3 week old medium Goldendoodles puppies I’m so afraid they won’t sell. Both parents have genetic testing but most people don’t even know what that means
Great question! 5 weeks old or older for visitors. ( our immediate family is exempt of course) Disease risk is minimized with good hygiene…wash hands and hand sanitizer before touching, make sure shoes are clean etc…we’ll sanitized visitation area. Shots start at 6 weeks. We’ve never had a problem. 👍
Great question! On a $250 puppy deposit the fee PayPal takes is $9.22. I pay that as a cost of doing business as long as the deal goes thru. If I have to issue a refund for any reason, it is minus any fees I had to pay. I say that right on my website so everyone knows. Here’s a link to that statement on my site: www.mustlovelabs.com/general-8
We usually name ours and I tell potential buyers we’ve been calling him Tug but you know you name him whatever you choose ! That works well and has for over 16 years. 🤷♀️
When you aren’t sure what to say…ask a question. What discount are you looking for? Then decide if you want to grant their request. Military or returning customer…etc. Negotiable? That depends if YOU want to negotiate. It’s ok to say NO, which is usually my response. If my pups are selling well at a given price point why would I negotiate? Some people enjoy the process and are good at it.
Do the same things we teach. Starting when they are 3 weeks is ideal but not required. Better late than never as they say. You have to let people know they are available. 👍
Of course you can sell them, they’re your dogs. You just can’t register them with the AKC. AKC is a private club. They don’t make law they just control their registry. You might contact the breeders you bought your dogs from and see if they’re willing to sell you full registration rights.
Thank you so much for these tutorial videos. I own cane corsi that I'm planning on breeding this summer. I don't have a mentor to help guide or educate me on breeding and birthing process so I completely appreciate your videos. Thank you.
🟢 Do you let people come by to your home and see the puppies before giving a deposit? I’m assuming some people might want to see the puppies in person before making a final decision to go forth and giving a deposit .🟢 (great video,by the way)
Great question! Yes we do! We speak on the phone a wile first and then schedule an appointment for them to come see the pups if they wish. Going to visit a breeder and see puppies (and parent dogs) is a part of the buying experience that I hope never goes away. 👍

@@must_love_labs I like that idea. Thank you so much!
Great. Great. Great information. You mentioned PayPal. When selling puppies should you file this income on your taxes?
You should ask your CPA that question and follow their advice.
Most people don't like other people naming their dogs. I have been told by other dog breeders.
We usually name ours and I tell potential buyers we’ve been calling him Tug but you know you name him whatever you choose ! That works well and has for over 16 years. 🤷♀️
How do you respond to inquiring customers who ask for a ‘discount’ or ‘is the price negotiable’.
I feel I am behind. My puppies are 9 weeks old what should I do to sell them now?
Do the same things we teach. Starting when they are 3 weeks is ideal but not required. Better late than never as they say. You have to let people know they are available. 👍
Can you share your shipping source

How can I get pups to Nigeria
I got a litter of english golden retriever puppies🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
We bought two puppies with limited registration. Can we still legally sell their puppies?
Of course you can sell them, they’re your dogs. You just can’t register them with the AKC. AKC is a private club. They don’t make law they just control their registry. You might contact the breeders you bought your dogs from and see if they’re willing to sell you full registration rights.
@@must_love_labs ok thanks so much! Will try that!!

Thanks for the valuable information.
