Hei i have a question !I hope you are going to respond.so youre chocolate female is going to have puppies whit a yellow .All the puppies are going to be black ? Or you are going to have some chocolates.I have the same a chocolate female and a yellow male. But i don’t breed her yet she is still to young, and i want to know what puppies she will have .Love youre video!!😄
Perfectly normal. He’s got other things on his mind until her sent changes. We give ours hard boiled eggs to get him through this. We will also sometimes mix cottage cheese with his kibble. I hope that helps!
I have a 5 month old mix female gsd and I will be getting Caucasian sheperd soon. Am confused on the choice of gender for the Caucasian. Yeah I wan to be a breeder. Which would get me fast on track and early reward or should I get a male and then provide a stud service. Also, which is more rewarding, breeding then selling off the pups or providing stud service? So sorry mixed questions
Great questions. I’ll bring these up in a video soon. I would go with the female shepherd. You said you want to be a Breeder and that is mostly about the females. You can outsource the stud in the beginning. Plus you get to experience puppies. Selling quality puppies generally earns more than selling stud service big time. Many breeders never own a stud.
I have one question...during period time how many time we have to do the that crossing thing..because what I now we have to do 2 time..right..and using same male for both time But one of my friend told me that he used two different males for crossing..is it ok..I meant same period time he used two male dogs to cross his female dog
For the heat cycle on most dogs: Day 1 is first sight of blood. Day 9 is ovulation. Day 11 is peak progesterone. A vet can confirm this with a simple test. This is when most people do AI. (Artificial insemination). Great time to start natural breeding as well. Every other day is recommended. So natural breeding on Day 11 and 13 would be a good plan. I don’t recommend using a second male. No way to track the pedigree or defects at that point.
I love how you love your dogs and puppies! I can really tell! Thank you for educating us on your program!

first cycle of Goldens in about 20 years. Female is in heat and my male won"t eat. Is this normal?

How many dogs so you have?
is this specifically for Labrador retrievers?
Some of it is. Most of the information presented here applies to multiple breeds.
Do you offer stud services?
Not at the moment. Soon! 👍
