Look for beauty - absolutely! The "perfect" gardens inspire us but they also discourage us because it is not attainable. Thank you for this beautiful walk through!
Thanks for watching. And there are many of this bed to compare month by month. You are right not everything always looks good, each plant has its time to shine.
There is several different things that are used. A Obelisk, Chicken Wire made into a circle, large tomato cages etc. They are a non cling clematis so they may need support or a friend to lean in.
Yesitis different. The foliage is different and the flower color is different. I will be doing a video series on sedum in a couple weeks. Stay tuned...
@@gardencrossings that's great to hear. I follow all your videos from Ontario, Canada zone 5. 🇨🇦 I also have purple asters & pink ones too that are thriving. Would love more info on Japanese Anemones that I love( Fall in Love Sweetly) they are so beautiful. Keep up the excellent work😉
As I’m watching I’m thinking I wish they had a hibiscus with dark foliage and white flowers and low and behold cookies and cream. Any idea when we can get our hands on that one? 🥰
Sometimes life gets very busy and I think we all have areas in the garden that get away from us. Especially during the hottest part of the season. When it is just unbearable to be out there for very long. Especially in areas without shade!
Amen to that Heidi. But here in the Southeast, when temps are 103 with a higher heat index and the humidity at 99%, sometimes you just water at the crack of dawn then choose to stay indoors lol. I guess because of our location, in the mid to late summer, the blazing sun feels like it is sitting 12 inches above your head! @@gardencrossings

I'm excited for the Purple Reign!
It is a neat plant
Still looking good. 👍
Yes it is. Getting a touch tired, but overall still lots of color.
Wondering about Stand by Me Clematis…. It looks like you have some kind of support to keep them upright. Wondering what you used?

Love these videos. I have a sedum from Proven Winners called Rock n Grow(Coraljade) what can you tell me about it? Is it different from Autumn Joy?
Yesitis different. The foliage is different and the flower color is different. I will be doing a video series on sedum in a couple weeks. Stay tuned...

I would be like a kid in a candy store and want everything in the trial garden! Cute kitty. Who does it belong to?
The cat belongs to Walters Gardens. The trial gardens are nice to go through to see how plants perform.

We hope to have them in the summer of 2024.
Does the agastache need to be deadheaded to keep blooming so long?
Not at all! It just keeps going
I’m in zone 5b - can the astilbe be in full sun ?
I had the same question!
In zone 5 the Astilbe can be in full sun with good watering.

It is a choice enjoy the garden or enjoy the weeding. I dont think it is a perfect pair.
