Hello from 🇨🇦. I just discovered your channel and can't stop watching your videos. They are so helpful! Keep up the great work!!
Thank you for subbing!
Very beautiful flowers, congratulations
Thanks for visiting and subbing. Enjoy!
So interesting. That Thalictrum is gorgeous 🤩
It really is!
Love these garden tours, both for the new perennials and to see the mature size and shape of the plants which makes it much easier to see how and where they would fit into your own landscape!
Yes, that is why i love to do these tours.
Hi Heidi 🌺 . I enjoyed watching this beautiful tour at Walters garden all the plants look so pretty the blue and pink and purple flowers are amazing with the other plants . Have a great day . 🌺🌻🌺
Thanks for watching.
I went on the website and it is AMAZING how many plants they have to offer. Like, almost dangerous amount…as in, dump my bank account 😂
Thank you Garden crossings! Love, all the Hoarder Culturists
Thank you for checking us out!
❤
Heidi, I really like the salvia that has bigger flowers on longer stems and also cat's pajamas that is more compact. Love the dianthus too for their vibrant color in the garden. The razzle dazzle is an ice plant that is a prolific bloomer and they are sold out quickly I believe. I enjoyed watching your video with explanations of what is growing at Walters Gardens! Thank you so much for sharing!
Updates coming soon.
Thanks for the video on Walters gardens. It's a large place. Gardens are beautiful ❤️
They have amazing trial beds!
❤ the beauty of it all!!!
Thanks for watching.
I just might be pulling weeds along the way 🤣💐💚🙃
I know...
Heidi just gotta say your hair looks nice long
Thank you 🧡
Beautiful tour! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
My fave remains Baptisia
It is pretty.
I was under the impression that Heuchera needed to be planted in the shade ? 💐💚🙃
Nope, many can handle sun as well.
27.7k...Very nice work...I have subs
I live in South Louisiana and I can not find Cats Pajamas Nepata, but I love that lemon Nepata, is it a new species?
Yes Chartreuse on the Loose is a new variety.
@@gardencrossings what zone is the lemon Nepata good in? I’m in zone 9.
I see that a lot of “shade” plants are planted in full sun,is it possible to then plant in full sun. Walter’s are experts so I’m guessing I might do the same, what’s the advice for planting shade plants in full sun?
It really is going to be variety dependent. But i can say most of the hostas are field grown in full sun.
Does the huechera do well in full sun ?
Many of the varieties can handle full sun depending on your location.
Hello, I am a UA-camr also with @BACKYARDBLOOMSWITHKIM can you tell me please what mic you are using? I have a time wih the wind noise in my background of my videos. Much appreciated. Kim

Hi, thank you Heidi, these videos are so helpful!, to see the perennials at different stages. I planted several evening gown heucheras in my zone 5 (Montreal), which you featured here, and left the leaves on throughout the winter to protect the crown. One looked particularly ratty in the spring so I cut a lot of it back, and also replanted because it had heaved up a little. It doesn't seem to be regenerating, though, and it's been several weeks, while the other specimens that I didn't touch look marvelous, but seemingly w last year's leaves? Not sure how to best care for them, should I never cut them back as I do all my other perennials in springtime?
Typically heuchera dont take well to trimming. We will trim off dried leaves near the base but usually don trim the crown.
@@gardencrossings I'm so grateful for your helpful feedback, during high season no less 💚!
