Winter is coming! 🥶You're doing really a cool car camping!! I found your channel while checking out all the videos about a car camping in the U.S. cuz I'm going all the way to San Diego from South Korea! Thank you for the videos👍
Wow! That is going to be an awesome road trip! Are you shipping your car to the U.S. or renting a car here to camp in?? Glad you found the channel and if you have any questions about locations to check out as you get closer to San Diego let me know! I do a lot of camping in the south west
Camped out there myself this past week (twice)! Went out solo Tuesday night to scout it out. Then took the wife out Thursday. Had a couple of friends join us for Friday through Sunday. Perfect weather and such a good time. I love that place!
@@Kadenventures Right at the 4 mile mark. There’s a little hill with a few sites on it. Great spot with stunning views. Rough road up to it but nothing any vehicle with decent clearance can’t handle. Funny thing too…I made ribeyes in my Lodge cast-iron skillets as well!
@@randyudell3892 Nice! Thats such a fun area to explore even with the amount of times I've been up there I'm still finding new places to camp lol Cheers Randy!
Love it out there! And yes! Give it a shot and let me know how you like it, I've done a dry brine similar to this with chicken where you pat it down dry but with the steak it turned out soo good! Thanks for watching guys!!
@@Kadenventures I’m from Phx AZ. Went to the casino at night then ended at boulder beach campground. Nice view and had great rest. We had a fun yet jarring experience waking up to a pack of coyotes hunting their pray in the distance sometime in the am 😁.
Hey Roger! There is dispersed camping outside VOF (there is no dispersed camping within the park) -- one option is Stewarts point (ua-cam.com/video/T9Kdr0gtxZA/v-deo.html) outside the East Entrance. if you come in from the West Entrance, there are a few pull offs on the right hand side a few miles prior to the West entrance
Nice! I've heard some Ski resorts don't allow you to camp unless your "fully contained" so hopefully that isnt the case with the ski resort your planning on going to. Thanks for watching Nolan!
Wow that sounds interesting lol I'm not a huge fan of sour beers (let alone pickle beers lol) but i'd give it a try! If I see this at a store i'll buy some and test it out on the channel :)
Awesome production. I live in the Southern NV area as well and wondering how often do you use 4wd get to the campsites you're visiting?? Currently have a 2wd truck with pretty decent clearance and tires.
Honestly not very often do I turn on 4wd sometimes when I’m going up steep ascends but usually I’m just on 2wd with the majority of our dispersed campsites, esp with decent clearance and good tires that’ll take you pretty far 🤙🏽 thanks for watching Fuego!
Quick question: are scorpions an issue in Lovell Canyon? That's always my number 1 concern for camping anywhere in southern Nevada. Given that they're attracted to light, camp lights can bring them in when in an otherwise dark area. The Arizona Bark Scorpion in particular, can kill you with a sting. When I was stung by one a few years ago, I required a special anti-neurotoxin to save my life. (It required two vials intravenously, at a billed-to-Medicare cost of $95,100)
Woah that is crazy. Sorry to hear that happened to you Edna! We're luckily we've never seen scorpions around this area (or any other areas we've camped in the desert and around Las Vegas). We have a black light that we take out sometimes to scan and see if we find anything but have never seen a scorpion (or snakes/tarantulas/etc lol). I do carry this bug bite kit for scorpions/snakes/etc that includes an extractor/pump for bites as a just in case
We go through those big propane tanks every 2-3 months with us using it at least once a week every week for around 6 hours on a low/medium so they last for a while and one of the reasons why we go with the bigger tank so we dont have to exchange it as often. Thanks for watching Chase!
lol hell yea! Bugs werent too bad a few flies but nothing like the bugs when you get closer to water (we were walking around a local lake the other day and the bugs were THICC) What kind of bug light do you have? I ran out of bug coils so I'm looking for other bug rappelers that arent sprays
@@Kadenventures I don't have a bug light... Just a light on a 10ft pole they just go to the light instead of us(about 70% effective). I am also looking for a spray alternative.
Its a Front Runner Chair! Super comfy, good pockets for drinks/stuff and packs down small. Definitely a bit pricier than what we've ever paid for a camp chair but we love em lol amzn.to/3WIQ4vT
Its one of the cheaper ones ~$80 (bec I lose my knives so much I cant spent $100s on knives lol) I believe its called Resilience. I love it though one of my go to EDCs. Which one do you normally carry?
Nice setup.. Yummy steak 😁✌️
The steal was delicious :) Thanks for watching! Appreciate it

Snowboarding with the GFC will be clutch, I'm hoping to give it a go this year at Mt Hood in Oregon!

I am wondering how much propane you run through with your ignite fire can? I live in Bullhead City AZ so your videos are close to home in a way.

PBR is bomb! Hows the bug situation over there? I got a 10ft light to keep the bugs away.
