Maybe if you put some sort of foam padding between the fly and the tent frame it woul relieve the stress. Maybe something like a jumbo pool noodle or large diameter rigid foam pipe insulation. Maybe add some sort of industrial bungee/shock cord into the corner guy lines to absorb the strain when it’s windy or is carrying a snow load. For the corner guy lines, to replace the pallets, maybe some larger diameter lengths of rebar with a loop bent in one end to tie to unless that’s all rock there🤷♂️ I’ve never heard anything but good solid reviews of Happy Yak. I don’t believe that it’s available here in North Carolina USA 😁
Thanks Alan! I absolutely LOVE reading comments like this! I love the idea of the bungee cord to absorb the shock. I’ve don’t that on the fishing shacks and it works pretty good. Great comments, my friend! //derek
Hi Derek! Very nice video! It’s great to see you wearing something other than a snowmobile suit! Looking forward to your summer series! Take care buddy!
Another great video Uncle D! Doing a great job bud and love watching! I got to see the girls this past weekend at the lake and got to sample your monkey whiskey lol ....Thanks buddy ! Miss seeing you home. Please reach out when you are back as I owe you a drink ! Love the little boat. For your portage area you can modify a kayak trailer to put under the stern and use ratchet strap to secure.. Its very lightweight, takes seconds to set up and you can easily roll over bottom instead of dragging ... The wider the wheel the better as it wont sink into soft bottom. Cheers bud ! Uncle Jay
Thanks for the Friday night chuckles 😂…there was a few times I thought I was watching “naked and afraid”. Where did you buy the peach and hairy camouflage print swim shorts? Do you bring a bear bang stick as a deterrent just incase a hot momma bear tries to crawl in bed with you at night?
A perfect way to spend your weekend. Nice video, gorgeous sunset and the sounds of the loons…wow. Pretty special spot.
Even though I tried my best, the video didn’t even come close to doing it justice!
Looks so peaceful there. Ever video looks more and more professional. Excited to see your next one.
Thanks so much. They are a lot of work to put together but it's so rewarding to see the new subscribers, the views and the comments!

Love your videos, the loons were so loud! Great job! ❤
Thanks Deb! The loons sure were vocal. I watched them chases each other around for a while too, but it was too far away for the camera.

HAHAHA! Thanks Terry! Birthday suits count as something other than a snowmobile suit.... right?
@@SubArcticAdventures No offence but I’d rather not see the birthday suit if it’s ok with you!But it does count! Have a good week!
Great channel cool wall tent
Thanks Steve! It’s going to get used a lot this year! Stay tuned 😎

Great idea Jay!
Awesome
Thanks Jeff!
Great video!
Is the water really cold swimming??
The water was gorgeous. I blame the warm water for driving the fish deeper and out of my reach though 😆😆

HAHA! The swim shorts were right beside the sasquatch masks at Cabela's!
