What if 1 sub is 4 ohm and subs are 2 ohm would it work the same ? Since u are wiring the 2ohm to 4ohm and hooking them together
You should not mix them.

I have a question how would I wire 3 subs to 2 Amps strapped and the subs are dual 2s
So let's say I have two amps and three D4 subs. Run 3 coils in parallel to each amp, both amps seeing a 1.33 ohm load. Will that woofer hooked up to both amps be a problem?

What if I put my subs at the 1.33 load but need to strap them? They are 1 Ohm stable and plenty capable of strapping with master:/Slave switches on them. The Amps are 1200watt rms with wiggle room and the subs are 900watts rms 8’s. I have 4 subs all 2 ohm dvc and I have 4 amps. Two are the 1200 watts and I have two other one Ohm stable mono amps that are 1800 and 1500 watts rms. All I have been capable of succeeding is using an amp for every sub wired separately at a 1 ohm load each. They are all greatly over powered but the larger amps are definitely too much power. I really need some help on what other options I have because I’m getting exhausted working on my Volvo XC90! Any help would be so much appreciated my man. I’m getting beat up from this thing. Please and thank you for anything you say that could help 🙏
Also I hve all four subs inverted. Shouldn’t I probably play them all out of phase so they don’t play out of phase with the rest of the speakers in the car?
What if you put two, 4ohm svc subs and a 2 ohm resistor in parallel? Wouldn't that be 1 ohm and if that safe, considering your amp is 1 ohm stable of course?

I have a mmats d100hc and also a d300hc. The d100hc can go down to .65 ohm. I have 4 soundstream r3.8 2ohm dvc subs wired down to 1 ohm, (but more like 1.3 ohm when measured with my dmm) Ported enclosure, and the d100hc powers them, but it doesn't have the output I was hoping for. Gain is about 70%. Optima YT, 200A Alt, big 3... could it be a Bad Amp?
Sorry for the confusion. But I have 3 8 inch skar subs that there manual says 2ohm subwoofers Final impedance load at speaker terminal box is 1.33 what amp wattage and I am do you recommend for something like this? And I definitely want it to hit as hard as those little subs can take.

Thanks for the vid on that. I have a 600/1 amp which is rated for 1.5 - 4 ohm. I would really like to run it at 1.33 ohm; do you think it would be ok to be .15 ohm lower? I have (3) alpine type R 12 2ohm DVC i want to connect. I know JL has RIPS, but from my experience the lower the ohms, the more power will generate

Every amp is different. Some are stable at 1 ohm, some aren't. Some are stable at 2 ohm, some aren't. Etc.

I mean I don't know what kind of subwoofer you already have. But correct, Two DVC 2 ohm subwoofers cannot be wired to 1 ohm, only 2 ohm or 8 ohm loads. Two DVC 4 ohm subwoofers can be wired to 1 ohm or 4 ohm. One DVC 2 ohm subwoofer can wire to 1 ohm or 4 ohm. One DVC 4 ohm woofer can wire to 2 ohm or 8 ohm

So two Skar Audio SDR-12. But do you have the DVC 2 ohm or DVC 4 ohm versions? If you have the DVC 2 ohm version, you cannot wire those to a 1 ohm load. You can only wire to 2 ohm (parallel) and 8 ohm (series). Two of the DVC 4 ohm versions can wire to 1 ohm (parallel) or 4 ohm (series)

Pretty vague on specs bud. Is it a two channel or monoblock amplifier? What are it's RMS power ratings? Are the subs DVC or SVC? What are the subs' power ratings?

What makes subwoofers heard from down the street? I have bigger subs than my friend but he has a bigger amp, 1500 Watts, and his system is way louder than mine. I have 2 12” Kicker Comp R’s with a 1200 Watt amp. Is it the amp that’s making the difference??

Never go by MAX. Always go by RMS. And in my opinion, you need a more powerful amp. Those subs COMBINE for 1,000W RMS total, your amplifier's power potential is only half that. Basically you're missing out on 400W. You ideally want your amp to higher a higher RMS. Are they the 2 ohm or 4 ohm versions of the subs?

Unfortunately, you cannot wire Three DVC 4 ohm subwoofers to 1 ohm. Only 2.67 ohms (parallel) and 6 ohms (series).
