..thanks for the video. so basically the breaking point is 190kg. it should work to hunt tunas over 100kg..
but i noticed that the longline clip you using are much smaller in size and material diameter then those you can find on other popular brands on their bungees,flaots. so i guess those can take more pressure then the 200kg that yours took..

Yes and no. If the Dyneema core is around the same break strain as the longline clip, a bigger clip is not going to be beneficial. I would still recommend using a small U shackle anyway. These longline clips can foul the line and open, why risk that on a prize fish.
