Dear, if someone is regularly taking you for granted, then you will have to tell them politely(at first) that you are not comfortable working beyond office hours, as it impacts your work life balance negatively and if that doesn't work out, speak to them in detail that this can't continue like this..
If you want to become a backup for your manager you won't be having personal life 😢
