Hey guys! In this video, I'm going to show you a super cool trick using Ableton's multiband dynamics to make your kick and bass stick together like glue. We'll use an oscilloscope to see how compression works its magic. You'll be amazed at how your low-end pops, and you'll hear those top frequencies just like the pros. Let's bring your music to life!

Amazing video as always Zen, gutted you all use Ableton as I moved from Ableton to Logic a year back, obviously just try it with a multi band there, but its just I hardly see Logic users anymore. One of the perks mate we didnt have to pay for Logic 11, free upgrade to have all the Stem Splitters etc

what’s the difference of using this instead of glue compressor. or the low end plug in you’ve used in other videos ?

Same concept glue Would be different as you simplify it and you could use the SIDECHAIN EQ Feature to remove the low end out of the signal the compressor will look at before compressing.

Dumb question, but is this for sub bass and kick? Or bass that has sub in it, processes with kick together? Awesome video as always.

Probably being used on a kick/bass bus, and works for both types of bases!

I just put pro mb before my final limiter, and do some lowend compression there! Tldr lowend compression works both on your kick/bass bus and your master!
