If you got a friendly bass to push you can saturate and bring out midlows. 3. Check for any mistakes you mightve made in your track mixing like removing too much midlow

It is called an orch hit aka orchestra hit/stab. It usually a lot of layered string sounds playing a note/chord w a strong attack. Or they can be made from sampling orchestral music. They are good for giving a bit of old school vibe since they were used a lot in the 80s and 90s as a lot of samplers of the time came with them loaded as a default sound.
