- The Triumph Speed 400 has been launched in India at a shockingly low price point of Rs. 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers, and after that it will be priced at Rs. 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). The Scrambler 400 X, meanwhile will be launched in October 2023. In this video, we bring you a detailed walkaround and first impressions of both motorcycles.

Scrambler 400x that bike is just too lucrative in front the others performance might be similar to the KTM 390s but cost is closer to the KTM 250s

No. Everyone except for RE will die in 2-3 lakh segments. Enfield is bought for its name it's aspiration vehicle for many people especially older generation. It's also more practical for family man, a 40+ yo man will be more inclined towards RE than this Triumph.

Biggest turn off is no showroom in many state capitals such as Lucknow. Even Harley has a showroom here. Majority of buyers aren't going to travel 500km+ just to buy a bike.
But buy karneke bad servicing bhi to nehi milega ..... official showroom se hi karwana hoga .. that's the big catch.

Personal opinion, in terms of height and big motorcycle feel, i loved the 440x. It got that retro feel. But the top varient only. Quiet hard on the price compared to the basic version

Good that they dropped their launch in 250cc segment in India, otherwise chhapris would have bought it easily and tarnish Triumph's brand name too just like KTM's 😂
FYI, It has bigger stroke than KTMs engine.
Scrambler should be the one taller riders look for. Infact if both your feet touch the ground even in someway, then scrambler should be the more versatile and likeable bike

The pointer is different (maybe using an off the shelf one) and the Triumph logo on the instrument cluster cowl is missing from the Indian model. There might be other such minute cosmetic changes to save some cost on the Indian version.

Scram might suit people of higher height, if your legs fold in a cramped position when resting on footpeg, its a small bike for that body.
Try scrambler, and get its rear shock loosened, it will match your height
There is a catch here.. Triumph has schedule the delivery for this in UK next year not this year and they are starting delivery here.. So in 6 months they will sort all the niggles and sell a better finished product in UK their home.. Whereas India will be testing the engine for 6 months so wait and then buy...
Thats why mules are tested beforehand, i think it's a finished product. Seeing Bajaj as they are now, chances are they will probably increase the price in upcoming months.

Triumph is a company who doesn't experiment...they produce bikes with every detail...also it took them 16years in collaboration with Bajaj to manufacture in India this shows how they were so particular

I'm big fan and own HONDA UNICORN those days 2005 licence holders guys .. bloody it took these many years to bring a bike like this ..near by Bangladesh and Nepal have much bikes, bring it to India dealers plz our guys hardly earned money need worthy machines...look at hongkong how many vehicles are there which are too good ...much words to say ...CF moto, QJ motors , also KTM, Husqvarna,all easily earning our boys money for no worth machines

Scrambler 400x doesn't have much to offer value addition apart from switchable ABS, larger front wheel, split seat, increased seat height and plastic knuckle guards, so 10-15 in addition may be what they can ask to be relevant. Good Luck Triumph
missed the most important part apart form ABS and wheels.. that is, Suspension. They could easily ask for a 20K premium for this trio.

No. It also has bigger disk brakes which are free floating (better at heat dissipation), stainless steel handle bar and foot pegs (aluminium on Speed 400), longer wheelbase. Expect minimum 20-25 which is still almost nothing for the kind of pricing Triumph has provided.

@@Akshay-oj3oc man, you're so limited with your thoughts, it's not about being rich, it's about passion, if you want something good, you need to learn patience and follow an unbreakable rule of savings, it took me 4 years of savings and still borrowed money from my friends. it's more about preference and choice of quality over some cheap shitty stuff. now you decide in which category you fall in. The original still remains original, besides, this will soon become a chhapri bike at this price point, similarly to ktm (I used to own one but sold coz every chhapri had it already). Shitty pricing but the colour combination is very good, rest everything is bajaj cheap.

KTM Engine is for speed addicts (good upgrade for Pulsar fans)
Bajaj is plonking same engine into Dominar, KTM Duke, KTM Adv, Husqvarna Svartpilen & Husqvarna Vitpilen

Its so cheap because they did not spend much on the engine. They just used KTM 373 engine with a new head and covers... Just like they did with the dominar... Maybe 😅
Triumph has engineered the bike Bajaj is only producing these bikes it would be much more costlier if they used ktm engine because of copyrights and trade mark
