I grew up watching this show as a kid on VHS and later DVD, I had the first 3 volumes and had no idea until now there was a fourth! Now I’ve got to get my hand on it. Great video!
18:10 If Ducktales The Complete Series/ Ducktales: The Movie Finally Gets A Disney Blu-ray Release And Other Old-School Shows Of Disney Television Animation I'll Be So Ready!
Sean, since you mentioned the Disney comic books, I was wondering if you had ever read any of the Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck comics done by Don Rosa? He did them from 87-06. Truly incredible writer. The stories are in the original tradition of Barks and have a lot of adventure and historical references-some of them are very much like Indiana Jones (as you referenced in the video). I highly recommend them and there are some very nice editions available. His first story "The Son of the Sun" will give you a good idea of his style. Thanks for the closer look!
That's a big one but also the fact you just gotta keep paying a monthly bill basically forever to watch these shows, lol hate Disney. Not the content but the business

Two of the other main Disney afternoon shows namely Darkwing Duck has a remake coming next year and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers has a Disney+ Live Action/CG Hybrid movie coming next year. I hope Disney Movie Club does the smart thing and releases the last volumes of those. As for Goof Troop which has 25 episodes left maybe they’ll release that to go with Darkwing and Rescue Rangers. All just my theory. Gummi Bears IDK. Want it too.
It would be logical to release the rest in conjunction with the new versions to maximize potential profits, but Disney has passed on such opportunities before for reasons unknown. Here's hoping they don't do the same this time, it would be the perfect opportunity to finish both of those sets with both franchises having renewed interest in them.
Technically Gargoyles has never been completed as they haven’t released the last 12 episodes The Goliath Chronicles, true a lot of fan’s don’t consider this part of the series but for collectors and completionist it’s still wanted
Have you got a hold of the Ducktales 4-pack Collection (the one with Huey, Dewey, and Louie on the cover)? From what I heard both the 4-Pack and the 2005 volumes are missing the first five episodes of the show, and Season 4. But I also heard the 4-pack is missing several Season 2 and 3 episodes as well? Do you know by any chance?
I have Duck Tales vol 1 and vol 3 on DVD I might get Duck Tales vol 2 and Duck Tales treasure of the lost lamp on DVD one of these days when Duck Tales vol 1 came out on DVD the Duck Tales pilot episode was not included but the Duck Tales pilot episode was only available on Duck Tales vol 2 DVD
Yep. Well, not hard to just swap those two around the right way on the shelf. Wasn't the main focus of the video. Point is we only have two DVD volumes. We need the rest of the episodes, preferably on Blu-ray as it's an HD show.

My gripe about Disney+ is some episodes are edited, not just this show but other Disney shows. Two talespin episodes are banned from streaming.
That's a big one but also the fact you just gotta keep paying a monthly bill basically forever to watch these shows, lol hate Disney. Not the content but the business
Yep! Another reason to have the DVDs. The episode are uncut, and nothing is missing.

13:40 Oh My No!
What Happened To Scrooge
On Volume 3, Disc 2?!
The individual disc art for volumes 1-3 were old VHS covers. I still have some of my VHS releases.
Also I hate to be a “well actually” person but the movie was first a Disney Movie Reward Exclusive. I know because I have it.
Is that not what I covered? The DMC version and the wide release. I have the DMC version.
Technically Gargoyles has never been completed as they haven’t released the last 12 episodes The Goliath Chronicles, true a lot of fan’s don’t consider this part of the series but for collectors and completionist it’s still wanted
Yes, I know. I'm doing a Gargoyles Closer Look later this year that mentions that.

As far as i'm aware, that set is just the first 3 volumes repackaged. It's the same discs, minus the contents of Volume 4.
I know, I literally covered that in the video.
Ducktales volume 3 disc 2 13:43
Great Video but Destination Adventure is actually the 2nd dvd of the reboot series. Gotta love Ducktales

@@zaranyzerak yeah I’d love to get them on Blu Ray but Disney cares more about Disney+ than us collectors these days.
