I watched this entire series, and it gave me anxiety about how it handled money. Money is constantly stolen, thrown around, lost, poofed, reappeared, stolen again, thrown around again etc. etc. It seriously made me anxious. I do not recommend this series as an adult when you earn your own money. As a kid, you probably don't care.
This might be a very unpopular opinion, but I'm not a fan of the reboot. It just doesn't feel like DuckTales. But more like an original show that was just fused with the DuckTales name. Scrooge and Donald are both barely in the show, the show focuses more on new incarnations of old characters like the Kids and her mother or brand new characters, and the show is not about going on adventures and finding treasures but rather solving out some dark secrets from the past. The reboot feels more like it wants to be the next Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, or The Owl House, and not a spiritual successor to DuckTales.
The reboot is such a polarizing experience to me personally. I came to Ducktales via the comics (a staple of every household in my country) and seeing the reboot done through the lens of someone that didn't grow up with the "real" comic book version of these characters, is a little off-putting. I appreciate all the call outs the show made to the fans of the comics, but when my favorite character Scrooge is hardly even in it, then what's the point? I can recognize that the new show is a good product, but it's made through such a different cultural sensibility than that of my own, I simply can't like it wholesale.

I think the original Ducktales is way better than the second series.

Only watched the original when it originally aired. Thanks for this lovely vid
I actually own the DVD’s at had episodes on them
It was funny how DuckTales aired on syndication, ABC, Disney Channel, and Toon Disney all at different periods through the 90s and the 2000s.
the reboot is passable.. still prefer the older series. I dont really thing the reboot is gonna last too long assuming it's not already axed.
Keep up the content.
Love first season hate all others
The profanity in the narrative for this video was unnecessary.

I dont agree
