- I will show you how to make those weird low volume electro-acoustic cymbals which are quiet. I convert acoustic cymbals with Silicone rubber tape and trigger into electronic cymbal. I made those silent cymbals a few years back when I got a desire to have beautiful acoustic cymbals behind my electric drum set. Scroll down for more info about DIY ↓↓↓↓

You can do this with anything.
Triggering drum heads is nothing new, there are tons of acoustic to electronic conversions on UA-cam.

Great video and top notch drumming. I wonder if within the td 11, you can route the metronome to the headphones output onlly while the main outputs play only the sounds. Also, how did you split the stereo inputs, with a normal Y cable or the modified Y for e drums?
Don't know about the metronome. The cable is a normal splitter but I build inside the jack a 100 kohm resistor.
how did you connect this 3 extra cymbals if roland td 11 use a multicore? (other s roland modules has more connections) 😅😅 did you use another module? thanks in advance
I split the signal in toms... they have dual triggering (rim and skin). I dont need rim so i use this signal on extra cymbals. So i get 3 more cymbals.
I noticed your ride symbol and hi-hat are rubber. Do you know how to convert those?
They are already electric so I don't need to convert them. Or do you mean how to convert acoustic ride to 3 zone electric ride? And the same with hi-hat...

One year ago I was in Mexico and I cut a piece of meat from my finger, while I was cleaning the dishes. A glass broke and cut it off. I had much luck, it could be worse.
My module has one big cable which splits into 10 cables for normal set. And roland td-11 modul has one more extra input. Toms and snare are dual trigered (middle and rim). I seperate those on toms and put the rim signal to the cymbals. Thats how I got my extra 2 cymbals + I still have a free slot for one )

BOBNAR Simon Škrlec I almost cut my thumb off with a power saw.
Unfortunately now it’s fused straight and about 10mm shorter which I’m having a lot of problems with blast beats mostly.
So I’d love if you could do your blast beats technique.
