- I catch beautiful largemouth on Senkos and frogs while fishing the Everglades about 40 miles south of lake Okeechobee. It's hot summertime with occasional rain showers but we have a dry and air conditioned truck at our disposal!
I'm going on 45 years old and I grew up watching Roland, Bill and Orlando. I think they were on TBS. If I met any of em I would probably cry like a baby.
Man up
BAMA 2019 😂
I love how The G.O.A.T still gets excited like I do over a 5 lb bass. Great sport! Thx for posting Mr. Martin.
I really enjoy watching your videos I always learn something and I enjoy fishing morè. greetings from Spain.
Mr.Martin: thank you for teaching people how to fish from shore. Many of your fans dont have boats. Thank you Sir.
I just love your genuine enthusiasm. There are way too many videos that just seem fake - too much forced drama and too many over reactions. Thanks for continuing to make the same kind of episodes on UA-cam as I loved to watch on television when I was a kid.
I just caught my personal best, a 5 pound monster, on a frog today in my neighborhood pond!
Awesome
Kick ass man
Roland never stop ok
Congrats!
Congrats! Now find the 6 pounder. Harder for us in the northern states
I 💖 bank fishing it's best way to be real fisherman
Hi Roland I started watching you a couple months ago and you have gotten me so much better at bass fishing I love your videos!
Poor Roland out there sweating his arse off for everyone, thank you, sir! I too live in south Florida and it is hot, humid and wet. I too sweat like a pig on a fire!
Theres NOTHING like Florida Bass Fishing and still seeing Roland out there Gitn r' done with just as much enthusiasm as a teenager. Rock on Roland!!!
Great video Mr. Martin thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion . 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Your videos have helped me so much! Keep up the great work Roland 👍
I know you only do largemouth bass mostly but me and my girlfriend applied some of your teachings this past weekend on a reservoir lake for striper bass and caught our personal best 15 stripers!!! Thank you!! sir!! Martin!!
I guided for Stripers at Santee-Cooper lakes from 1963-1970!
Another great video..I caught a 6 pounder yesterday evening on a frog near the Taylor Creek locks ...I always start and finish my day with the frog....The only reason I started using frogs was from Roland Martin Outdoors..... I'm 66 and yes you can teach old dogs new tricks....
I love to watch your videos. Thanks for showing us the best way to get them fish.
Roland Fricken Martin. Bam...I remember you when I was a kid I used to love watching you, Jimmy Houston and Bill Dance. Good to see you still catching the lunkers. Boom
After a tough day at work and traffic backups going home it was great to sit down with an adult beverage and watch you catch bass in the beautiful Florida everglades. Thank you Roland.
Danng Son, You still got it!! Love every one of your videos ROLAND!
So much information in these videos, thank you for the free knowledge Mr. Martin!
Still as great as ever. Loved this video Mr Martin. That was some real cruisin' around and fishin'
Two of the best balanced guys I've ever seen. Roland at his age walking around on them rocks and not falling, sitting on that ice chest on the car topper boat. (I would fall off out in the lake lol) and Scott standing on his evinrude catching fish, or I've even seen him stand on his depth finder to elevate himself. Roland , Sir you are a joy to watch, you've caught more fish (and lot's of big ones) in this short time on your you tube channel and can't say thank you enough!!!
It is good seeing you doing well and still doing what you love! Happy fishing Roland!
First cast -First bass !!! Great way to start the day !! Love your videos !!
You and Scott just did a 25$ walmart challenge and I teased Scott that it isnt a 25$ challenge in a $50K boat.
Thanks for taking us bank fishing Mr Martin. No sonar, no spot lock, no finding the perfect spot. Thank you, I enjoyed this video.
Dang you Rolland ! Lol you got the gift when it comes to landing FISH ! Keep posting great videos 👍
I grew up watching you on TV and I got excited when I found you on UA-cam I learned a lot watching your videos
Thanks for the video! This information is relevant to a lot of people because we do not have boats. I always enjoy your videos!
You the man....Roland!!!!!!
As always love watching your videos 👍👍
Thank you for 'your' service, sir. I appreciate your sacrifice in our military.
Hi from the UK, great to see those bass, brings back memories of my time over there. You have such great fishing over there. Thanks for sharing
GOAT !!!
Sure do love watching your videos. GLAD you joined the video crew!
Awesome video, Mr Martin. You still got it! Been watching you 3 (you know who you are) for a loooong time. Jimmy promised he was going to get you 3 together for a video, that would be the ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️💥 👍👍👍👍👍
Not suprised, a legend catching a fish on the first cast.
Still like a ten year old kid. Love Roland!!
Yup... jealous... great fishing... great video, thanks!
What I like about your vids you keep it simple.
Son, how many times have I had to say "It's a small one but at least it's a fish." Great video Roland.
Can’t beat the Everglades for quality big Bass especially when Roland Martin catches them. Hope to see you Friday down there.🎣👍👊
Great watching you bank fishing. That’s all I do and know how tricky those rocks can be. Be careful out there.
💙the bank fishing 🎣
I used to go to South Florida for work quite often. One of my favorite places to fish
I'm reminded of days when I was stationed at Homestead AFB and we fished the canals on and around the base. Some even had landlocked Tarpon. Those places didn't hold any bass unless they were big though. Good memories. Thanks.
Love the teckel frog......nice vid Roland
I love your love of fishing :)
Wow, first cast!! Now be careful in those rocks...i know u have a lot of experience falling on rocks like those. 😁😂😃
Mr. Martin make sure you're keeping plenty of cool drinks down there with you.! It's hot in Everglades. And the mesquitos are vicious.
You are the man
I love the Holey lands alway great fishing
Damn Roland... You ARE living baby... #Son !!!
Great post! Keep them coming please.
that breathing tho love you roland
Thanks again, GREAT JOB!
Enjoyed it!
It must be really hot down there. You now have a dark grey shirt. Great fishes by the way.
Awesome! Subscribed and watch
A Roland Martin with rebuilt eyes is dangerous to all bass. Glad I’m not a fish, Lol. Can’t imagine how those rifles shoot now. Thank you for another fun video.
Thank you Sir. Could you tell us more about lure making? Just even your thoughts on the subject. That was a pretty good sized top water you showed us!
I wanna go fishing with you sometime, It would be an honor to fish with a legend like yourself. I'm a Maryland native living in Estero and I always keep an eye out for you or Scott at Bass Pro.
makes me nervous seeing you so close to those banks ..there are huge gators lurking those water ..I had a couple of close calls ..I am also an older guy ..great videos and stay safe .
Hey Roland, saw the decal on your tailgate...GO IRISH!
The GOAT
Some nice ones from the bank!! I looked for you out there Roland. Maybe I'll catch you next time!
Love is in the air......
@@biilybutt9016 hahahahah
Amazing first view and like good job
That’s what fun is all about!
This place is sooooo quiet. Its wonderfuñ!!
I could listen to this guy talk about just about anything.
Great video...you should have like 1m subscriber's
I had the same rock point trout fishing 🎣 in the white river in north Arkansas highly highly recommend it. Bull shoals lake feeds it. Rent or get an rv. Their are some giant trout very finicky first day I hit the river at evening four thirty 🕟 cooler temp caught three to four then for the remainder about two a day. I would walk in the water while the river was drawn down. Never caught anything that way went back to the rock point did far better. I just like 🎣 catching something is a bonus.
thats so cool nice video
THIS IS REAL FISHING !! I FELT LIKE I WAS THERE....
Woo son . . You see that !! its like my buddy and i fishin
Good stuff
I hate heat fishing, I am a fall and winter guy.....lol
Great video, please make a Yamamoto flappin hog video
Awesome day of fisbing
Roland,
As an older angler do you recommend going out alone on trips like this (it appears you had a cameraman with you). If this was a Bill Dance video I would have expected him to have fallen in the canal and then this would be one of his blooper reels.
I still fish some by myself but not as much as 10 years ago
Roland watches those fish like a hawk
Aliens are NOT REAL bro
You are more brave than I am, giant lizards cant grab my leg in my Nitro Z17.................
Im from Delaware and I know just what you mean. When I visit Florida and go fishing they are always on my mind cause you cant see them half the time. Maybe if I moved down there and knew the area.
Mr. Martin. I know you said you were about 40 miles south of Lke O. But where? Just East of 27 by Holey Lands? Just curious. Looks like a cool spot! Thank you sir!!
I lost a 10lb+ bass tonight. And a $7 spook. Broke 15lb monofilament right before I grabbed him. Roland wouldn't have lost him lol
Palomar knot
I have got to go buy a frog lure now😊maybe i wiñl catch em where i havnt caught em before
Don't turn your back to those damn gators. Enjoy the videos.
As they with storms time to put the fish sticks up,lighting rod is what your holding.
No Mark...he is not
Haha, your small ones are giants here in Idaho.
11:20 wait, Roland, you forgot your cameraman!!!
Mr. Martin, I noticed you used a predominantly white frog in this episode of bank fishing. Can you share what color a frog you use under what conditions? Like, when you use a buzz bait when overcast and cloudy/drizzly. White for bright sunny days? What about when to use a dark, say, brown or black frog? Green frog?
Thank you so much for excellent instruction and pointers!
The main reason I use a white frog is so that the camera can see it better!
It surprises me you didnt have your pockets loaded up as usual...😊
Best comment ever....
if your gonna learn anything, learn it from the man himself/ they need to start a senior fishing tour so we can see some of these legends fish again, wouldnt that be something?
Looks like US 27 in the background.
Roland, do you prefer the morning or afternoon bite when you fish the Everglades? Thanks for the great video. Extremely informative and relevant.
both
Was it just me but the reel sounded really noisy at the first spot
It was crunching .....made my skin crawl ,had headphones very noticeable it's a prototype reel for a reason
Watch out for the gators lol
I constantly hear about the dirty 297 Green Pumpkin Senko I nearly want to eat one.
It's 297 not 247 lol
@@keithsiegel5769 Ok, ill see if I can order one at the french restaurant.
If you get some duct tape or gaffer tape and tape the mic down on the inside of the shirt you won't get all that noise from fabric rubbing over the mic
You are right
Do you have one of the devices on your camera that allows the camera to follow you ? Or camera man?
Camera man
What part of the Everglades is it
What a great video Roland Sir! Always love watching you. I would love to colab and fish with you if you are down this way again. You are welcome to see my channel and see what we do as I am a legally blind fisherman. I also compete in the King of the Glades Series that goes out of your Marina. Anyhow awesome video and always learning from you. Have an amazing day!
Are gators a worry bank fishing in FLA??
Are there alligators there? Nice fish.
Lots of small ones up to 10 foot which aren't dangerous!
