- Big Bass love to destroy a Buzz bait and it is one of my favorite lures for those “Mega Strikes” hence the name.

I only own one of these buzz baits but it is the most used one i own. Very easy to re tune if you bend it out a little. Always squeaky. just an amazing buzz bait.
Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

My favorite situation here in Upstate SC is getting permission on rarely fished secluded ponds.
There are some huge Bass in some of these ponds. I have posted a few of my better Bass on my channel.

Btw. I don't own a cavitron buzzbait yet but clicked on tackle warehouse and was reading some of the reviews and got some of the best reviews I ever read from all over the country. I will be ordering some soon!
I own & fish the Mega Strike Cavatron buzzbaits myself. Great lures in the right conditions.
Love my buzzbaits heck I named my boat buzzbaiter lol ... I throw that buzz sometimes but partial to Strike King Banshee frog color with trailer hook and put a tiny white grub on the trailer, seems to always catch my biggest ones on that, awesome video and nice boat.
Hard to find solid buzz baits that last and do not bend and get out of whack after a few good fish. They ALWAYS bend and/or break at the head of the lure where the wire meets the lead head of the buzz. Gotta spend good money on a good buzz or the medium and cheaper options with bend and break easily...then your blade won't spin right and she'll start spiralling. Nothing like a black buzz at night on docks. Keep a buzz bait when dock flipping crappie at night and throw the buzz just outside the dock light glow, that's where the bass hang out to smoke bait fish and smaller panfish that chase a bug on top and out of the light. So much fun when you've been hauling up crappie for an hour and take a break for a huge topwater boil in the dark.
