I guess in Kansas going in a straight line is entertainment and unavoidable, but please take your bike to a place with some curves and elevation changes. You will only then see the benefits of two cylinders and all of the torque that bike produces. Dry clutches and drag racing certainly are not optimal either. Right bike but wrong place!
Another good video. You might be able to squeeze a little tuning out of the old duke; what about rider tuning shed a few pounds to get to your fighting weight, fold mirrors in and practice the crouch helmet to the tank. Good luck😁
That exhaust note your Ducati has is amazing 🥲
Man, that Prius looked sharp going down the road. And whoever shot that footage of you from the stands did great job ;)

Nice job jake for a first time racer not bad ET for old Duc.
Just looking at you riding the bike, the US looks so much like Australia if you weren't riding on the wrong side of the road you would never know.
It is not a drag bike. A 900ss is a bike for the twisties and when set up correctly with a talented pilot, they hold their own.
Thanks for making the drag strip into an enjoyable video with Elliott Alvis!
My video is coming next week!
Elliott Alvis sighting!!
The Ducati V Twin Exhaust note is great....

I never miss an episode of this excellent show! Bonus: Elliott Alvis sighting!
Heck yeah 😉
Hey! @7:54 is our race. Glad Moto Gumption made the cut for the video. Good stuff.
Killing it Jake‼️👍
If Ducati is "slow" in Italian, i'm afraid to ask what Harley is in American.
There's a place by my town called Thunder Valley. I need to take my GTI out there some day.
I had a 1991 900ss and when people say " how fast does it go " I would tell them, " it has always gone as fast as I wanted to go!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Have been burned so many times by the lavalier mike/Gopro combo. In the end, I bought a zoom H1n.
Maybe some spring loaded training wheels could give you some added boost.😁🏍 And it's nice to see you and Elliot playing nicely together.
We always play nicely! Lol 😂
Thanks good vid, I really enjoyed it.
Really wish I could get out to KID more. Looks like it was a lot of fun! Hope you get the mic situation sorted out!
Can’t believe 93 octane fuel is called premium and 89 is standard ( does it have sticks in it ? ) 91 is standard 98 is premium here in Oz

It is a diferent measuring sistem from Europe or Australia. Used to find it strange before learning that.
Different method, like R+M/2 and RON
900SS at the dragstrip. ok.

Be careful that you don't run over Elliott, Jake!
He didn’t. I gave him the ride of his life in the Prius though...
@@ElliottAlvis Now that gets me excited, Elliott! May I have one of those, too?
Stay awesome
Feels like the Ducati has lost a LOT of horses ☹️
91 octane is premium out there ????
