Monster Hunter World sold like 23 million copies. The series hasn't been niche for years.

I give this game awards a solid 7.7.
The amount of new IP that I saw was actually something to be slightly excited about. The new Blade game it's probably the reason why the movie is never coming out so I'm going to have to play it solidarity😂.
We love seeing everyone angy about their favorite games.
But now after watching everything, it looks like February of next year is probably going to be one of the better months for gaming. We shall see.

@@ChrissieYTexclusives not really, but because of the various shake-ups and the writer strike, it's going to be difficult for that movie to see the light of day anytime soon.
I say all that because I was in contact with a few people who are working on the movie while I was trying to get a job in visual effects myself. It just seems that a lot of stuff is going downhill that's all.
But now the movie is not canceled, hopefully I didn't give off that impression.
Avid fan here and I mean no disrespect, but I think yall heavy sleep on the monster hunter series. To each there own though, I get it you're intitled to like what you like but to give 2k a try every year (i'm guilty of this myself) but dismiss monster hunter is crazy to me lol but yea like I said to each there own much love.

The studio that did redfall isnt the same one thats making blade lol
I feel kinda bad for the Austin team tho.
They joined a studio that is known for making immersive sims. They make Prey, which is good and lowkey slept on.
Then early in development of redfall, it is switched into being a live service multiplayer game, because that was the wishes of microsoft and bethesda. (And the producer then made the ultimate mistake to go along with it)
All i pray is, "for fuck sake, just let arkane make the genre of games they are known for." 😂
@@TheDwagonHD agreed they was forced to make redfall..but fyi Microsoft didn't want them to make redfall a service game it was Bethesda before they was acquired. Redfall was cause if Bethesda wanting live service games like fallout 76...not made by Todd Howard team... Wolfenstein young blood . Kinda like how Gotham knights was made into a service game . That's why I'm glad Ms let's the devs make what they want. That gives it a better change of being a good game when they actually want to do it

Every single game that is not explicitly single player is a multiplayer game by definition even if it also has a single player mode.

The game awards were good, I gave it a solid 7.5. But man, PlayStation did not have much to show. Ronin, we have known about it for a while now and knew it was coming early next year. The WoW DLC is cool and all (plus it's free), but it's just a horde mode, not really a story, which is what we wanted. Besides those two things, what else did they show or woth? At least Xbox showed a bunch of stuff - that Blade game is very interesting. Again, we know nothing of what's to come from PlayStation next year - Wolverine is coming 2025, but before that, what? After that, what? 🤔
