Today was our last day to explore beautiful Bali, Indonesia! So we decided to make the most of it by getting up at sunrise and driving north to a beautiful region full of local temples and waterfalls :) Our day was so jam packed that we had to split this episode in to two parts!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this UA-cam channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
Could Bali be any more breathtaking?! 🌴 We started a new thing in this vlog: The Kara Cam. Basically while Nate is busy with our main vlogging camera filming stunning cinematic b-roll, sometimes I get antsy and need to get something off my chest or capture something happening casually. So now I keep our point and shoot (Canon g7x) in my pocket so I can use it at any moment 🤓 What do you think?

This place is just amazing. The locals were so accommodating. I can't believe he climbed that tree like that just to get you a fresh coconut! And all of those delicious looking snacks. I think Fried Bananas (ie. Plantains) are just so yummy, though I'm not used to seeing them battered like that.

I love how monkeys suck their thumbs the babies just like human babies do I’ve been watching everyone of your videos from the beginning. I am now up to this Bali video and through you. I’m getting to see everywhere. I’ll never get to go and I just want to say thank you! You have brought my dreams to fruition through your videos. My husband and I take care of I just disabled brother who can’t walk talk or eat and very rarely. Do we even get to go out together we’re lucky maybe once a month we might go out to eat and only be gone for like an hour and a half. So I’ll never get to see all the places even close to it. I was just in Bali the last week of May and visited the monkey forest, then a big monkey jumped on my shoulders and started to play in my hair. It was scary and cool at the same time. I'm like you Kara I am terrified of spiders.

Your intro with the rooster kinda freaked me out cuz that is exactly what my timer alarm sounds like. I had taters roasting in the oven when YOUR rooster went off and I was half way to the kitchen when I realized something was off. Taters are fine. It's all good.
