Well on this, the line up seems to be : J S Soto : vocals M Jacobs : bass A Johansson : drums J Johansson : keyboards YJ Malmsteen : guitars Very good song indeed.
@@Watchtower570 Yep you're right ! So many lineup changes for Yngwie sometimes it gets very confusing ! PS : Time flies, yes, especially on a social media like UA-cam :)
@@carl13220 Time does fly! And a bit of a revolving door of musicians in Yngwie's band. Shame Wally never made an album with him, he was an incredible bass player and we don't really get to see him shine in clips like this.
@@Watchtower570 + My joke is Yngwie Malmsteen changes Lead Singers more often then he changes his underwear. So you can put that revolving door thing in it's proper perspective.
karla thanks for sharing these videos ! this one is from 09/29/86 Detroit, Michigan Royal Oak Music Theatre .. he played the year before around the same time but at the joe louis arena with ac/dc ....
Not quite. This Detroit gig is from the Trilogy tour on Sep. 29th 1986, and Trilogy was released Sep. 18th 1986. What happened was that Mark Boals quit just a couple of gigs into the tour after a fight with Yngwie, and Jeff Scott Soto replaced him and did the rest of the Trilogy tour.
@theloner90 Jeff replaced Mark after he was Fired. Jeff only sang on the first 2 albums Rising Force & Marching Out. Mark sang on Trilogy the 3rd album
Mark Boals has a voice more suited to Neo-Classical Metal, e.g. smooth soaring operatic. Soto has a great voice but is more suited to melodic hard rock / AOR, e.g. husky commercial rock sound.
El vocal que es de apellido Soto.. es latino? No sé, porque cuando saluda en español tiene como un asento argentino... Alguien me puede sacar de dudas? ... gracias
I was there, Joe Louis arena, he opened for AC/DC, was a kickass show, and sounded a hell of a lot better
You can see and "feel" the fire in his playing. Great song about inner passion and fighting with a desire to achieve your goals.
so fking
LEGENDARY
when i was a teen back in the 90s
this was my fking jam to wake up to in highschool
hahaha
An epic song by Yngwie who tapped into hot blooded "pop" for this tune. Off a killer album as well "TRILOGY".
thank you so much for putting this up .. one of my favorite solos by yngwie, ever.
jesse b I also always thought this was one of his best written solos. That Strat SCREAMS!

I realise that at the time of writing this that your comment is 12 years old, but if you still care it's Wally Voss on bass

This video is unique and Jeff Scott Soto sings on top. The solo of this song is masterful

The Master at his best
Jorge Torres JSS is the MASTER!!!
It's good to see and hear My Guitar God back in the day!
Soto + Malmsteen + fire = nitroglycerine !
Somebody needs to bring JSS and Yngwie back together 🔥
muchas de las canciones de este album fueron interpretadas primero por Scott Soto antes de salir del grupo
The king love this long live Y N G W I E

Hard to hear JSS trying to get though this. Poor guy!
JSS is awesome but this is Mark's song for sure!
Boals has more range, but Soto has a voice more captivating!

Puerto Riqueño
@NisseEricsson I think he was just hungry back in those days and didnt have the huge ego.
Casi no improvisó en el solo
Yngwie...!! ua-cam.com/video/9mYjuVSXo0M/v-deo.html
THE sound on this track is nothing bless than terrible, and does not do judtice to The Maestro at all.
Tempo too fast for this song...
