- Expensive yes... Best looking aftermarket LED headlights yes! These things look amazing cosmetically and performed as expected! The install was fairly easy and just about anyone can do it. Not sure the GTR switchbacks were worth the additional money. I think you get a pretty good bang for the buck on the switchbacks I had previously... These amzn.to/31vSerF these are about half the cost and seem to perform just as well. I will be doing a comparison video soon with these and the cheaper LED upgrade... Is it worth the money? I ended up sending GTRs back! I ended up running some Amazon swithbacks and enjoyed them a lot more, especially for the price.

I just installed these on my ‘17 F250 6.7 today. The only thing that bothered me was the fuse tap they provided did not fit in fuse slot #35. I had to install it in #34 and move the fuse that was in 34 to position 35.
Other than that it was a pretty straightforward install and the DRL light is brighter than I expected, which is a good thing. I used the Black Friday code at Headlight Revolution and got them for about $750. I put the GTR i-LED ultra switchbacks with the hyper flash modules into the turn signal and boy are they bright! I didn’t want to have a halogen turn signal.
You’ve got great taste! It definitely takes your front to another level! Ford made changes to the 2020 unfortunately so my lights were a bit more… I say it’s still worth $ to upgrade. I ordered some moto four banger Dutch lights too. I can’t wait for them to come in. The GTR lights were a pain because it took me forever to find the right combo for the headlights. @@theoverdriveconsumerchanne4424 That’s true the 2020+ are probably going to be a bit more, and I actually like the tapered cut on the housing/grill more than the square look of the 17-19s. Either way, yeah it took me a few minutes to figure out I had to ditch the collar and change to the shorter screws in the switchback turn signals. At first I thought they might have done the cutouts wrong, but oh well. Next is a new bumper and fogs for me! Happy hunting and I’ll check back in to see progress on your rig!
Thanks for the support… I’m adding fogs and a steel bumper as well. Just have to find the right bumper. I will not be going for the ranch look though. Whatever I do I’ll post it!

Two questions. I believe these are led bulbs, Could you in theory replace the led bulbs with HID bulbs? The bulbs are a bit longer but they provide better light output. Second question, could you do a video of the actual light output while driving?
Thanks for the questions… first I’m sure it’s possible but would void warranty because you would have to defeat seals to access the actual bulbs. It would be an operation. To be honest they suck but look so good on the truck. I am planning on a video illustrating exactly what you’re talking about. I added diode dynamic fogs and I’m good to go. I see about expediting that video for you.

@@theoverdriveconsumerchanne4424 Thanks for the quick reply. This kind Sucks for us 2020+ Guys. For projector headlights, all that's really on the market now is these morimoto's. You have to pay 2k for the quad beam light (better light output), or you buy the hybrid version (sounds like much less light). I was really hoping to be able to do a HID bulb install in the hybrid housing, but i'm not separating the housing. By now you would expect several aftermarket brands to make their own versions. I'll definitely be waiting for the light output video. Subscribed
Bear with me I’m working 12s right now… I’ve got some videos in the pipe just need a little more free time to get them out. Yes the market for aftermarket f250 stuff is a fraction of what you can get for the f150s. I could literally do just about anything to the f150s I had.

I got a 2021 F250 7.3, I absolutely love it. I was dead set on getting the 6.7 diesel but I went with the 7.3. I would love to get those headlights, I’ve not seen them under $2500.
I paid around 1k with the Black Friday deal… they are normally around 1200 for the ones I have and they do or did offer a program where they would buy your old lights. I got the XB hybrids for two reason they were cheaper and they look the most factory.

Thanks for sharing this video; the only one I found specifically for install of Morimoto XB Hybrids on a 2020+ Super Duty. Quick question: since I think you deserve the credit, do you have promo code we can use when purchasing the LASFIT. No problem…. I actually sent the GTRs back and are running the lastfit switchbacks amzn.to/34SdzN3 they also offer a 8% of coupon too. I believe it’s actually cheaper than lastfit’s site. The plug on the f150 and f250s are terrible. I actually had to electrical tape the bulb on the socket so it wouldn’t fall off. Not a big deal though.

I had these installed 6 months ago and everything was fine. Now today, both my low bean and high beam bulb on the passenger side won't work but the LED portion around the bulb does work. I thought maybe somehow the bulb blew but I never use my high beam so why is it not coming on when prompted. Driver side works fine. Any suggestions?
Oh no! This is honestly my biggest fear with these! I would reach out to Morimoto and see if they can help you troubleshoot. It’s possible something came unplugged…

It still sucks… they aren’t the easiest to install/remove thanks to Ford’s genius engineers. If you don’t mind please keep me updated on your situation.

I sent the GTR switchbacks back they were not all that great. The mottos are good lights but aren’t mind blowing bright. I would prefer a little brighter. I added diode dynamic fogs/driving lights and I’ve got it like it now. DRLs look great during the day.
Do you think the standard xb would be a better choice?

how did you get the fuse cover to close without cutting part of the cover seal plastic
Yeah man, that one was a bugger and even now it’s still not perfect. I weaved the wire in the box so that it was not hindering the lid coming down then I added a little pressure. It’s not exactly how I want it but at least I’m not cutting on the box to make it work.
These lights give out horrible light output compared to the stock halogens with leds installed,and it's like a step pattern that they put out! I can't see with tinted windshield. Gana return them.
Hate you don’t like them man… you’re right they aren’t has bright compared to LEDs… you can thank DOT for that. The aftermarket LEDs that everyone installs aren’t technically legal per DOT. I think they need to update the outdated standard. I did install some awesome led floods if it wasn’t for tat I would have done the same.
That step pattern bothers me too. It looks goofy.
How bad is your radio static? I just installed these on a 2022 f350 xl and it’s bad!
Man it’s weird you say that. I noticed when I have the lights on (parking, manual on) the station clears up but if I have the lights off (drl on) it’s really fuzzy… it could be where they use tapped into the fuse panel?
