Ehh. If it was the third out of the inning, sure, but it wasn't and there were other runners on. I don't know if the umpires can call a double play without Arenado attempting a throw to first, but he likely could have gotten two easily.

It’s crazy watching clips with all the old stuff they’ve phased out with the new rules. No pitch clock, the shift, actually throwing four balls to intentionally walk, NL pitchers batting, etc.
Speed up the game? What are we, MTV? No, it's baseball, and I like long games. Give me four, five hours of baseball, and I'm in bliss. Humans need to go away if this is our direction.
in regards to the one about the ball getting stuck in Wrigley Field's Ivy-----The ivy also has a special set of rules. If a batted ball goes into it and disappears, the batter (and all runners) are awarded two bases.

They didn’t want to try to judge on the field whether a ball stuck in the ivy can be “seen” or not, so Wrigley Field’s ground rules give two bases if the ball lodges in the ivy. If it bounces out back to the ground it’s still in play.
The rules for balls hitting tarps are similar - you can catch it on the tarp, and it can bounce off the tarp back on to the field, but if it gets stuck behind or under the tarp it’s out of play even if someone can see it.

Nearly all the clips show running mistakes, throwing errors, and missed catches, there is no need for explanations. Or maybe you don't grasp baseball that well. Provide time stamps where you need an explanation.

I'm Brazilian and I'm slowly learning the rules of baseball, I like the sport and I have some doubts, because I don't understand some things. for example: Could someone explain to me what happened at minute 3:46 of the video. I would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me. thanks.
the dodgers pitcher did something called “coming set,” meaning he got ready to throw the pitch, but then he didn’t actually throw it. he stepped off the mound, which the umpire determined was deceitful to the runners, because he made it look like he was going to pitch but he didn’t. so the umpire called a balk, which is any illegal movement of a pitcher on the mound. balking is basically a rule that means that a pitcher can’t fake throw. whenever a balk is called, the runners advance. in the game at 3:46, the bases were loaded in the bottom of the tenth inning, so the when the runner on third advanced (to home plate) a run was scored. the game ended because it was a walk-off, which happens when the home team takes the lead in the bottom of the ninth or later, as they did with the run scored on the balk. thus, as the announcer said, it was a walk-off balk. hope this helped!
If you watch closely, the pitcher comes set with his glove raised and his pitching hand holding the ball inside the glove. If he had stepped off the rubber right then, no problem. However, he starts to lower his glove, thus beginning the act of pitching. Instead of completing the throwing process, however, the pitcher the stepped off the rubber. This is illegal (called a balk) and, when called, all runners advance one base.

Wrigley Field's ivy is Common Boston Ivy of the Parthenocissus genus. Poison ivy is of the Toxicodendron genus. One cannot sprout the other. But feel free to keep spreading wrong information.

Let's change the stars. What I mean is, get the IAU to, OFFICIALLY, make a new constellation.
My idea for changing the stars is called, "Mickey," I mean, "THE ALL-STAR," and includes Orion, Taurus and Pleiades (Subaru). Figure it's time to put something up there that's relevant to us, don't you think? Take Orion's belt and "Betelgeuse" becomes the head with a baseball hat. The 3 stars of Orion's belt make up the 3 fat belt loops on a baseball uniform. Below the belt are two legs bending at the knee. "Saiph" is the back foot and "Rigel" is the front foot. The spear pointing at Subaru/Pleiades is the bat and Subaru/Pleiades is the baseball flying away after being hit. "Bellatrix" is the hand that let go and "Aldebaran" of Taurus is the bat's tip. Put it all together and you get, "THE ALL-STAR." In my case, I see a left-handed batter with a, "7," on the jersey. Which makes him, "Mickey." (As it should be) But you can put any number you want, making, "THE ALL-STAR," any player you want. Pass it on, please and thank you. Don't worry, where I come from, crazy is a compliment. ;-P

Exactly, wtf was the balk? I know that a ball is one of the hardest calls in baseball, but I feel like umpires sometimes reach.

I always hated when a batter gets the bat hit, and no attempt was made to hit the ball (swing the bat), but it counts as a hit. An attempt to swing needs to be made in order for the swing to count. Simply moving to get out of the way of a wild pitch and have the bat hit should count as a foul ball, not as a hit.
