    We need to promote living in a world where people can trust their neighbors to buy from them on the honor system. The fact that you don't even need a camera shows what kind of people these neighbors are.

    Love this young lady! :) Great job! 👩‍🌾Maybe grow flowers/sunflowers along the front near your stand to get attention and then they will also be another product to sell not mention they will create more seeds to sell as well.....Both flowers and seeds sell very well for me and then there is the third benefit of them being a great attention grabber. :)

    I've been working for a year at a worker-owned urban supply store in California, selling chicken, bee, and garden supplies. Almost everything we sell is locally produced, including the raw honey we purchase from beekeeper neighbors. We also have workshops and events on site, from basket weaving to bee hive building. It's an amazing community hub. I'm learning a lot, and feel lucky to be a part of something that has such a positive impact on my community

    Very impressive. Having those possibilities and opportunities out there with your stand (and probably multiple places on your land) really puts a pep in your step and a smile on one's face, I would imagine. A great set up and design for your stand as well and with multiple people chipping in (not least of all: family members) really makes it a meaningful thing. Just remember the bad times are opportunities in disguise as well. Good luck and thanks for showing us.

    Honeybees, $150.00 a gallon for honey on the West Coast and climbing; renting out hives for pollination, roughly $175.00 for two deep supers. Then there's the beeswax; I love making candles in the fall. Once you start burning beeswax candles, you'll never return to petroleum-based paraffin candles again. Selling 3 lbs packages of bees w/queen for $180.00 west coast price. Plant alfalfa and clover for the bees to harvest the nectar, and afterward, harvest the alfalfa and sell it for local feed. You can contact your local bee club or 4H club if you're interested.

    You're truly an inspiration!!! I love your positive energy, and just overall outlook! :) Just found this channel at random as well. Thanks, UA-cam. It's very neat for me to see somebody taking on this daunting challenge with happiness and passion. I grew up on a smaller family farm in the Oregon Willamette valley (66 acres). I learned so much from growing our backyard berries, to fruit trees, walnuts, etc. I love gardening myself too! Then we moved, and I went into the trades, and lived out of state, and then did five years of Military service; and now after my active-duty time in the Military I'm working on my HV electrical Electrician apprenticeship! It's been super busy, and super fun to see so many different walks of life around the World too. I too in the near future (next few years) will be looking for and purchasing my homestead and place I can have a forest, pastures, gardens, orchards, and be able to can, freeze, dry, and preserve natural healing non-chemical laced foods! Oregon is my home still though:) I want to be able to share these foods with others at cost or even free as I'm still working and make a decent living. I believe truly it's how we inspire and help others in life. Once we see this life truly becomes open, and God shows us miracles! Keep up the great work!

      to spread out your investments. By putting

    Loving your videos. I'm thinking of buying land now. At first it will be a weekend getaway, but I'm also thinking about post-hopefully-early retirement and how to bring in a little money. Thanks for posting these videos!

    Also I am impressed by how industrious you are - you bought your farm over a year ago and already selling produce.

    I can tell by your vocabulary that you are much more liberal than me, however I love and respect everything you are doing. Chase your dreams and hopefully soon my family will be chasing behind you. FYI I work in the oilfield, that’s where our funds are coming from.

    I like the big cheese wheel pumpkins that can be segmented. They keep well by first halving then removing the seeds and scrapping the pulp.

    It's been so much fun watching this journey you're on! You could always sell pickles or other pickled veggies. Longer shelf life. But that might require some permits or something since it's a prepared food.

    • @AlexandraFasuloBiz
      @AlexandraFasuloBiz  Місяць тому +1

      Yes it does since it's prepped food - could be something in the future, though!
