- I played 100 (minus 42) days of Cult of the Lamb and here's what happened. The plan was to play a full 100 days but I beat the game too fast...
Can this little lamb ascend from the slaughterhouse to godhood? If I brainwash enough buffoons, of course I can.

The fact that you made it through the final boss without the building to make your followers little demons that follow you and help during the crusades is insane

Yeah it's pretty strong, and the higher devotion the stronger the demon. There's a mele and ranged dmg one, a living bomb that does one big hit per room, one that will randomly bring you back hearts to heal, one that increases your health for the run (that you can sacrifice to ratous bro for a perma half heart) and one that collects your crown energy for you.

One thing you underestimated in terms of faith: The graves. Put all of the graves next to every single shelter. That way, every person that wakes up gains 2 faith immediately.
I have a graveyard and the respect your elders perk and the death of the elders was always majorly of set by the graveyard
Places of permanent rest right next to those of temporary rest. Good idea

Small detail I noticed - the followers become calm during sacrifice if you have the +faith when sacrificed upgrade
And scream their lungs out if they're dissenting

The main selling point of the game for me, is that its just you building a cult, but everyone is cute and loveable, so its a good cult! Still a cult though.

I wanted to be sacrificed but the game wouldn't let me end the story that way, so when I learned I can recruit my Lord I spared him. Then I learned he's "Immortal" I wanted to test that out, his corpse is locked up. Wouldn't have happened if I could have ended it as intended.

@@empireofitalypsstimfromano5025 For a canonical ending, yes. Otherwise you don't complete the 'Free the one who waits' task which is bollocks because technically I did free him at the cost of my life. Technically it's optional.
@@empireofitalypsstimfromano5025 yes, you have to fight him to end the game. in the end, after you've defeated him, you can give his crown back, and grant him his power again to rule the world as he intended, you can kill him, or you can spare him, but keep his power and make him part of your cult. When it comes to the question of which is the canonical ending, the third is the most likely. As Shamura said, 5 becomes 4 becomes 3 becomes 2 becomes 1 becomes nothing means that he canonically loses his power, but also, Haro says that you can't kill death, which he was the bishop of. Therefore, the third ending is probably the real ending. But Shamura is brain damaged, so who knows!

@@EarlyAttempts Well no shit you have to fight him, I just said it's optional. Shit if you want to exclusively play knucklebones the game isn't going to bloody stop you. And if you can't kill death I did, locked him up to test his immortality. Wouldn't have happened if he let me sacrifice myself, nope had to keep the file, so I didn't get sacrificed but he did. I just wanted to be a good servant but Nooo, I have his crown now, I just wanted to return it.
the emotional rollercoaster of watching you have so much difficulty keeping your cult's faith to the point someone left when that was never a problem for me, to watching you beat narinder in record time when i still havent beat him bc hes so tough TToTT

Hard being hard is mostly due to your end. It's not "skill issue". It's the choices you made aka rejecting fleeces etc. Fleeces can be powerful and debuffs can basically be ignored if your good enough
Yeah when I was editing I reflected that i really should've tried fleeces. I rejected them out of hand without really thinking about it but when I was rereading what they do, I agree with what you're saying. If you play right you can negate the debuff aspect.
I do feel like I am kind of dodgy at roguelike gameplay though. I love hades but haven't really played any others.

I like how everyone plays this in a different way, my cult was a super murder cult, we cannibalized each other, sacrifices were normal and I killed a lot of my members.

Not gonna lie when my boyfriend got me this game I was immediately hooked. I'm having fun playing this game but I was immediately scared when my boyfriend told me this. If my faith is empty, I'm at a time limit to bring more faith that is 50% or more. But if I fail to do that when time is up, it's game over. And what's worse, if you get a game over, your save file is gone. Very good game but with a scary and cruel punishment.
For people wondering (bc I was) you can cook during a fast to feed starving followers. They'll eat and go immediately into the fast after

the golden fleece is literally the best one if, doing a no hit run also can somewhat abuse it on enemies that summon other enemies.
Fun fact, you can deflect the arrows of that one heretic enemy, using your mele weapon.
oh that would've been sick, should've gotten more techy with the combat, I kind of just brute forced it
Did you know : when Shamura sends your follower against you you can bait them to a corner, rush to the opposite one and concentrate to get back to base and save them from death since prohet's curses only happen once even if you flee just after it happening
Stardew Valley and The Binding of Issac are the two games that I never thought would get a crossover, but here we are.

there is a building that lets you put a follower (like Maon) into a lock so that the other followers (that believe in you) can make fun of him, im pretty sure this also gives faith

I’m currently trying to 100% this game and the berserker fleece is really helpful for the no hit achievements, I’d recommend using it if you do the part of the game past killing The One Who Waits
