The best video about essentials that I watched on UA-cam. Great pieces and amazing combinations. It looks great and fashion. Following you from Brazil. 🇧🇷
Step 0. BE physically fit! 😭 But in all seriousness. Solid content around simple men's fashion. I'm currently in the process of decluttering my closet and looking for good essentials to replace what I currently have. I just need to remember I can't swap it all overnight as quality pieces cost serious money.
Haha thanks! Yeah definitely don't rush. It's better to build slowly, can find different pieces at a better price, plus get a better sense of our own needs instead of FOMO driving our decision.
Very nice selection of pieces for your capsule wardrobe. Only things to improve is to have lower cut ‘no show’ socks with your sneakers plus the white sneakers could be a bit more cleaner as the beat up look can be a bit jarring as the rest of the outfits were so clean and crisp.
Love your content! I subscribed for the design videos, but I wasn’t expecting to see capsule wardrobe and minimalism as well. I’m really loving them! They way your videos are put together and the calming narrative is perfect 👍🏼 would LOVE to see more minimalism content from your perspective!
Hey Reynard I just subscribed the other day and I've been going through all of your videos. I didn't think I would enjoy this (I hate fashion) but you actually made it bearable and your approach is both easy-to-follow and logical. Hats off to you and keep these awesome videos coming! You really deserve more than 21k subscribers. One idea/suggestion: I wonder if it would be possible to invite a friend (ie someone who is not currently in good shape like you) for this sort of thing. I'm currently reworking my eating habits and cutting fat but I'm still stuck with a lot stubborn fat around my waist. I wonder if you have any tips for people with slightly less flattering body lines, or is it basically the same regardless?
How did you fit so much fantastic info into a 6 minute video?? this was so helpful!! Now I feel more informed when I shop for clothes with my boyfriend!!
Congratulations on your top-notch content quality! Your calm and meditative style calms me down☺ I used to live in Sydney and noticed that the most well-dressed people on the street were Asians. Now I know why. Thank you for all the tips! By the way, the views that open from the balcony are priceless! Is it around Alexandria?
I like variety and color too much to call myself a minimalist. Don't really think I can stick to mostly neutral tones. I would like to start getting rid of a lot of the fake options I have that I never actually wear though, and this video is going to be a great guideline. Edit: Btw, where's that brown overcoat from? I really like it.
There's no wrong or right in fashion, everything is a question of style, black and navy are great and you can wear this in any situation. You can try to do it in the mirror, creating some combinations.
I agree. Navy trouser and black t-shirt could work, just make sure to vary the shade (something like washed out black, or dark indigo) a bit as standard navy and black can be too close in tone to each other which can risk looking like an accident. Varying the texture can also work well. Having said that, I'd avoid using black shirt with navy suit; it's a really tricky water to navigate and looks less dramatic than a lighter color (again, you can go for it, but be aware of the shade).
Definitely get the pants tailored. It's easier to cut off material than adding, so I'd recommend getting the right length, and you can bring them to a tailor if they're baggy.
I have the exact opposite problem and I hate it lol. EVERY SINGLE PAIR OF PANTS must be hemmed, jacket sleeves are always INCHES too long, and "slim fit" shirts (which are finally no longer the ONLY shirts available) are almost always unwearable for me.
I absolutely Love how you break the the clothing style down. This has helped me tremendously!
your wardrobe is really great. You've nailed the fit which many men do wrong. It is simple but looks sharp and versatile.

Glad you found it helpful!
Your clothing style reflects the same beautiful and minimal aesthetic of your home. Simply fantastic, Reynard! 👍🏽

How did you fit so much fantastic info into a 6 minute video?? this was so helpful!! Now I feel more informed when I shop for clothes with my boyfriend!!
Watching this I realized your concept: be sure in what you're saying and doing is right and everyone'll believe you're right. 😄
Wonderful wardrobe
wow so stylish!
Handsome, stylish and sharp. You have a great eye.
Congratulations, man! That's an awesome video!
You do clothes too?? New top 5 favorite channels. You, RMRS, AlphaM, CurlyFragrances, and TMF
This is a really good guide, full of information and still short enough to remember ;)
This is exactly what I needed.
awesome tutorial!

I'm actually enjoying your video and your styles 😃
Like the style
Classic. Well done!
Cool wardrobe! 👕
EXCELLENT video!!
Awesome video. Thanks
Great style. Lovely video .
Commenting for the algorithm
Which white sneakers do you use???
Killed it🔥
where did you get the beige overcoat from and what company brand is the overcoat
It’s a Zara camel overcoat. I did a little digging myself haha hope that helps!
Great video. Did you say where the overcoat is from?
Where did you get the long tan / brown jacket / peacoat? Not sure if I missed you tagging it in the video or not.
Perfection!
I have a question, its okey combine Black and Navy? for example, navy trouser + black t-shirt

What do you think about Ted Baker?
Where is the long coat from?
you wear white sneakers to the office? and to smart restaurants?
What are your thoughts on graphic tees?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I feel that this is a very tropic and on trend way to to approach minimalism
Where did u get that brown leather jacket?
That one’s from Zara.
this works for women as well
how tall are you?
I don’t like that I’m tall and skinny so finding clothes that fit correctly is a task. Pants are the worst.
Definitely get the pants tailored. It's easier to cut off material than adding, so I'd recommend getting the right length, and you can bring them to a tailor if they're baggy.

Man just completely copied Tim Dessaint’s video (style fundamentals) word for word
Why is th image cropped? why don't we see his face? WHat is this trend where people film themselves but don't show their face? that's absurd
