great little video , love to see a head to head springer vs pcp . I might have to try this out later , wildcat mk2 vs hw100 vs hw97 vs hw95 and my newly refurbed Original 35 ,,now I just need the rain to bugger off 👍🏻😂
I hear that, the weather for the main part has been pants for weeks. I've bought a new shooting chair and shooting sticks a while back and haven't used them outside yet as too wet! When rested correctly the PCP will show why it's so good, but the springer when shot and held correctly will give it a run for it's money and that's the challenge I like
It took some time to get used to it compared to the other PCP I have, but yes, it's hard to argue at just how accurate and easy it is to shoot. Just wish the cocking lever had a shorter throw to it
It is what would be described as very Germanic, like a well oiled machine it just keeps on going and going and going. Apart from install a Vortek kit, I've not done anything to it and it just behaves and shoots so well, testimony to how good Weihrauch are in my eyes
I like all rifles, but i get a certain feeling when shooting my springers, is it the reassuring soft recoil, the German build quality, repeatable accuracy? All the above! ScottinUSA
Cant see how that 100 isnt putting 4-5 shot 1 hole groups under a raisin ...mine does possibly the pellets your using try qys domed and streamlined accupell aa diablo and biz mags they all work well i get 14 shot 1 hole groups all that fit under a 5p with ease at 20 metres
It's because I'm shooting freehand and not from a bag or bench or rest. This is the HW100 supported on some cheap shooting sticks ua-cam.com/users/shortsUceAI1eon5Y?si=DdyKm_fa0Lc5hZ3A
With comparisons like this it’s clear that PCP is easier to group than a recoiling springer. Although in the right hands both guns can do pellets on pellet at shorter distances.
Hands down, the PCP is easier to get on target, however, they shoot no better than a springer when shot correctly. I needed to adjust the windage as shooting to the right on both!

very nice 97 is a sweet shooting springer for sure 👍
It can be when I don't flinch or pull it slightly!! So annoying, but that is part of the fun eh?
The HW100 is the business!

Enjoying my 97 so much the pcp is gathering dust. You're cocking lever seems to go back into the receiver a lot easier than mine and I grease it.
The tension from the spring can probably be adjusted.

It's certainly a little more engaging that a PCP that's for sure and the Germans so make really good accurate springers

Coz he did not use a 100 he used the 97 for the lot !! Why do you think you don't see the 100 😊😊 he is trying to say his 97 is better than the 100
@@user-rs3ky4em9n listen to the cocking action and speed of the shots in the back ground, clearly not the 97
@user-rs3ky4em9n no pal that's not what he's saying and no the 97 in no world is better than the 100 😂😂😂😂 he's clearly comparing the both
@user-rs3ky4em9n if you just look above...you'll see the person in the video confirming he used the 100 buddy

Which Hawke scope are you using on the HW97?
Fast Mount 6-24x50
A shit one😂
What distance?
15m seated off hand, I've subsequently sorted the slight point of impact to the right with a tweak to the scope
Every shot right of centre...
Yep, I've adjusted the scope when rested on sticks as not sure it was just me frees handing it, I've the natural wobble and movement as I aim
Hw97k is like a gun shaped ship anker so heavy
It sure is scoped up!
