@@RundomguyThere are a lot of 3/4 Gen fighters to choose from, so a specific size is impossible to determine, but for example, a 1/144th scale F14 Tomcat (which is 63 feet long in real life) would be about 5.25 inches long
Excellent work. And I thought the MiG-21 was tiny and fiddly. This is even tinier. You've done a splendid job there showing those camo colors. Love MiGs. Cheers!
yep, that control column was appalling haha. I wanted to remove it. though could really think of a way to get rid of it...sounds stupid at first lol, but a sanding stick wouldn't work, neither would a file...or a knife lol!
You are correct, a lot of them were painted in grey, but there's some examples that have been turquoise-d up, so thought i'd use that as it's a bit more interesting
i loved 1/144 kits when i was younger much younger (think Revell's microfighter series). i always tell myself that i will bet back into them now that i am in my 40s. i must say i have no clue what a mask sheet and photo etch fret is.
Awesome video, as always mate! Great job.I find it hilarious that you used a strand of hair. That's really funny. Question: what was better about the PE wing fences? Anyways awesome job! Yours truly, Mini J
Thanks a ton mate! Yeah, the hair was a funny little addition. The PE wing fences were about 1/5 the thickness of the plastic ones, which were heavily out of scale
Heya, thanks so much! I'm on holiday at the moment, and I have a commission booked in for when I get back, though I'll write you down and get into contact when I have some time available :)
1/144 I didn’t even know that Eduard did this scale! 😳 Tbf, it’s the way to go, especially for larger aircraft and I’m really looking forward to Beacon Models starting up.....Spits and 109’s to start with (Battle of Britain and then all of the other BoB inventory)! I’d like to see you do the Great Wall Hobby Vulcan....even as the tanker kit, it still has the Shrike Missiles and decals for the Falklands War....
The excess oil wash was removed once the white spirit carrier had evaporated, leaving just the partially set oil paint - you don't want to wait until it's dried further because it makes it much harder to remove the excess
Well, can't say I'm an expert on these colours, but I'd probably suggest 71.056 panzer grey, post shaded with pretty much any grey that is a bit lighter. Hope this helps!
Oh, you haven't tried to build 1:144 scale HARRIER G.R7 its just microscopic (and decals are even smaller) so, if you want to try another 1:144 model, here is my recomendation
@@stand-redoxszone6362 haha! Thanks mate. What brand is it? I'll have a look myself! The harrier is one of my favourite jets so it would be sick to do it

That’s amazing. It makes me look at 1/144 with completely different eyes
This is my favorite scale. You did a really brilliant job here.
Hello. Can you say, please, whats +/- size of 3/4gen fighter at this scale? Is it +/- size of palm?

Oh my...That kit looks fantastic, especially with the added extras.
Glad you like it! :D
Beauty! Tough working on such a small scale! You did great!
Many thanks! 😄
Wow, 1/144. SUPER!!!
😄 thanks!
The best birthday present I could ever ask for
Oh damn, happy birthday mate 😄
The Kit or the video? Lmao

I am definitely going to have to have a go at one of these 144th little gems. Nice job bye the way.
What a beautiful little thing.
Watched this straight after your Ju-52 build! Great content:)
Glad you liked the videos! 😄
An outstanding build! I hope mine looks half as good as this when it's done
Thank you mate! I'm sure it will 😄
Incredible detailing on such a small kit, the only thing that spoiled the cockpit was that “log” they had representing the control column.
yep, that control column was appalling haha. I wanted to remove it. though could really think of a way to get rid of it...sounds stupid at first lol, but a sanding stick wouldn't work, neither would a file...or a knife lol!
I built that one and the Mig 21, great kits.
Are you sure about that green cockpit color? Mig 15s used to be gray inside. This green wa used on later mig models..like 21
You are correct, a lot of them were painted in grey, but there's some examples that have been turquoise-d up, so thought i'd use that as it's a bit more interesting
What a tiny model. U made a really great job out of it
Thank you very much 😊
This looks really good, I would love to try some of these tiny fighters but I cant find anywhere near me to buy them.

Nice work and fun to watch....especially since I just built this kit myself!
Glad you enjoyed mate!
Looks perfect. Great result. ;) All the best for You! ;)
Ah to be young and have good eyesight...
Nicely done!
Haha! Thank you 😊
Very nice job!
Very nice MIG!
so many that's what she said moments but I really love what you did there, even if it's so tiny.
🤣 Trust me, it was hard to keep a straight face during the voiceover recording haha. Glad you like it :)
Está increíble! Felicitaciones!
Awesome work!!! Incredible considering it’s size! Also can’t believe you had to use hair for the rigging
Many thanks! It was a good laugh 👍🏻
Great build !
Great video !

@@ModellingWeekly Yeah, okay. That makes a lot of sense. It was probably tricky to mold tho, so nothing against eduard:) Have a good one mate!
@@Jake-jw3skOh totally, I don't blame them at all lol. You too!
Amazing work! I love it. Thank you. 😊👍

You have such a good skill at painting these small things. You do such great detail I kinda wanted to ask if you could do a tu-95?

Oils take a while to dry, How long did you wait before removing the oil wash?

Great work as always, and just wondering, which thinner do you use for the alclad gloss? And how toxic is it?
Good question! None lol. It's pre-thinned, and completely none toxic!
👍🤩
Liked it very much.
Very glad 😊
amazing
Can I ask a question what Vallejo model air grey would you recommend for a 88 mm flak 36 thanks for your time. Carl

I really dig a mig-15
It's a sweet jet, very true
Are these available to buy anywhere ? cant seem to find them
Got mine off Amazon, unfortunately I'm not sure other than that :/ sorry :(
If you think that is small you should have a go at a Valom model of a Sopwith Camel.....
