The house the main character lived in in "Super Hero Movie" was filmed on my block. Didn't get to meet Drake Bell tho...
Parts of Spring Breakers was filmed next to my parents house. They got a few hundred bucks from the production just to allow them to put up some lights on their dock.
The High School in the movie "Jumper" was my high school a year before I started attending it. And that cities major library.

Arnold's enthusiasm is the big seller for him. It's so good to see that much in a movie, even if his action as always been a bit spotty. He has always thrown himself into the roles with gusto. Which a lot of movies lack these days.
I would argue him as Mr Freeze was just so absurd and fun that it's actually just great.

The conversation at the end makes me sad. Even the dumb movies in the 90s were coherent and were incredibly memorable. This movie was iconic to my childhood and I am so happy everyone had a great time watching it here. It's peak absurdity at its best.
Even though he's a TFA/TLJ apologist, Sam's Channel once made a video talking about how "dumb movies" of the past were more fun and memorable than modern "dumb movies" which are just dull and frustrating, like Gods of Egypt. I very much agreed with that video.
This movie feels like a live-action Simpsons episode. It's so fucking cartoony and over the top but still wholesome enough to be enjoyment for the whole family

I love love love how Arnold Schwarzenegger always has the thickest accent in movies and all the other characters ignore it lol
When they dress up Arnold as Turbo man, they mention the guy who was supposed to do it’s accident. I genuinely find that to subtle and well executed setup for the reveal that the suit actually works. That’s better than anything we’ve gotten I phase 4 of the MCU so far, well done writers!
There already is a Jingle All the Way 2, it came out a couple of years ago. There is also a Kindergarten Cop 2.

Watch it! This movie accomplishes the rare feat of not only consistently one-upping its own shark jumps, but also doing it with level of swagger most films can only dream of achieving.

Holy shit, that scene where the "little person" Santa gets punched by the Big Santa and goes flying across the room.... I mean, that whole scene is beyond amazing, but that shot in particular was spectacular.

Yeah, that's why I always watch "Kindergarten Cop" in English. Alessandro Rossi is an excellent voiceactor and has a handsome voice (he also dubbed Picard, Thanos and Optimus Prime in Italian) but without that accent so much narm charm is removed. Especially in the scene where Pamela Reed pretends to be Arnold's Austrian sister and she imitates his accent.
I don't remember how they adapted that joke in the dub, and honestly I don't wanna know.
Is this “I’m mad at my parent are always working” thing common because I never got that as a kid, or maybe it’s the fact he lies but that doesn’t explain other movies using the cliche.
Same, if I could go back in time with my mind and get into kid!Me's head, I would ask to my friends and classmates if they ever related to that plot/character premise.
It'd make more sense if in the story they're going through a divorce and the kid is in a very bad place mentally, maybe is very vulnerable emotionally, and is upset that one of his parents isn't proving themselves supportive, but it feels petty when the kid usually seems to be doing well with his life. If anything I'd say that type of plot can dangerously inspire kids to act petty and under-appreciate their hard working parent "because I wanna feel complex/conflicted like that movie character to spice things up!"
For kids with stable lives it's WAY easier to be inspired to behave like a spoiled, materialistic brat for no real reason instead of being reflective and appreciating what they have.
Love all the Arnie impressions. You guys should do Kindergarten Cop eventually, and maybe the crappy sequel

You would think that as a kid I’d have learned the reindeer’s names from singing ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’. Nope. Definitely still recite those names the same way he does while he’s trying to find a phone.
The funniest thing in this whole movie is how people don't just have no interest in Booster. People actively DESPISE Booster. They will run up and kick him at the parade even. It's so funny to me.

Man, this was a blast from the past. Don't think i'd ever expected this to be an EFAP Movies. Glad it still holds or hell, I think it's better than when i watched all those years ago, especially the jokes/humor. Tis from a simpler time when films and jokes were good and fun.
The reason why I never hated this movie (beside it’s hilarious) that it’s ridiculous on purpose unlike TLJ or TROS.
Last Action Hero is ever way better y’all should check it out.

So I just realized; When Jamie is watching the Turbo Man TV show. The end of the episode the kid is falling and Turbo Man flies up and catches him (6:50). They ended Jingle all the way the same way (40:42). I imagine being in a scenario mimicking your favorite show. Not sure if that was intended, but I thought it was a cool detail

Literally watched this movie Christmas Eve, one of my favorite X-mas movies to watch because of how ridiculous it is.
If they remade it. There would be no jokes, it would have a lesbian couple who save Christmas & Santa (who would either be fat and stupid or gay or all) Then the director would come out and insult men.

I avoided this movie for years thinking it was just plain bad. Decided to watch it this year and it made the whole holiday season for me. It was kinda surreal since I forgotten the movie but remembered the scenes, so the whole time I was going "Oh so this is the movie with Anakin... and the Santa crime ring... and that reindeer in the house... and 'put that cookie DOWN'"
I've waited a year to see this again just so it wouldn't get old. Let's see if it's as hilarious as I remember.

I was 20 years old when this movie came out in theatres. My sister and I saw this because Star Trek First Contact was sold out at all showings that night. We figured since we were there, we'd see something, so we chose this. Better than the time I had to see Phenomenon because Independence Day was sold out.

I'd love to see them cover Running Man (love it with all my being, but it has some hilarious shit to nitpick and riff on), Conan the Barbarian/Destroyer (see them love and make fun of the original and being genuinely frustrated with the sequel), Kindergarten Cop (it has some MASSIVE mood whiplashes I wanna see them reacting to) and maybe some lesser stuff like End of Days.
