What are some of your wardrobe *essentials* that you always wear?
My sweaters, jeans. Although the weather in my country now is sunny day but my work time is start from 5 pm until 9 pm. So ... mostly sweaters and jeans that i use. Also your sweaters is really nice. I like it.
My go to is leggings and a sweatshirt. I love to be comfortable
I wear sleeveless dresses as my staple year-round... this has primarily been the Old Navy swing dress, but I’ve recently started wearing one of the Wool& sleeveless dresses for the 100 day challenge that I think I learned about on your channel! I love dresses for layering because they work in warm or cold weather and can be dressed up or down. I also live somewhere rainy and chilly and wear boots year-round. I love boots!
This is a great starting point for me minimizing, I would just add a pair of riding/rain boots! Great video.
Love the simplicity of your wardrobe. Too many pieces can be overwhelming. I absolutely love the wide leg jeans!!👖
I tend to wear a Tshirt and jean or cotton bottoms. After watching this I think I need to dress it up a bit. I'm getting kind of bored with my style and i really loved yours!
@Noah Moody I am definitely going to try this! Thanks😊
Loved how neutral your clothes are, I really need to get more basics!
I must say that I'm not really a fan of Everlane, I don't think they are as transparent as they say they are :(
Why?
Josedpls they aren’t that ethical and sustainable
Kind of like a slightly more subtle and less extreme version of H&M
I’ve been looking for a video EXACTLY like this! Thank you!!!
Love your wardrobe videos! Your basic style really speaks to me. Jeans in various styles, easy throw-on tees/sweaters, and a good boot are my essentials! And I try to keep everything neutral/warm-toned.
Yesss exactly. I find it easier to get dressed and just overall match things together better :)
Turtlenecks look great on you!
Thank you so much Sasha!
Lovely picks. I really appreciate Everlane. They have come a long way with pairing style and quality. Everything looks so pretty on you! xx
Yes, these are nice basic pieces that we can year all year round
Your videos are so satisfying to watch.I enjoy it very much.I find it so motivating as well😊❤
Love those linen pants!
They're so comfy!
I've bought about three new clothing pieces a year for 5 years (new meaning secondhand): These are the items that helped me maintain the clothes in my wardrobe they saved me!
1. Depiller amzn.to/2KMGCVb
2. Rit black dye amzn.to/2zP5sBt (for every other color i used plant based dye)
3. Sewing kit amzn.to/2yhjzz4
been watching some of your clothing videos today and would love an updated one for this year even if it is a lot of the same things :)
Thanks for the wonderful ideas...no pants here but i do skirts in place of jeans. Now to get more neutral items
Love a good skirt also. I'd really like to get a denim or corduroy skirt, and a longer maxi skirt for the summer next year :)
your eyes are beautiful 😍 anyway i love you videos, please make more! ❤️❤️
I just love this video! Your style is very similar to my own 💗 I must check out Everlane! 😍
I love the dress with the floral pattern, so delicate and tiny! All floral patterns I came across were too big and loud >.< on the contrary, I found some nice and discrete floral patterns in the men section, so unfair 😢
I'd like to try high waste jeans, but I'm phobic with my belly button being touched and I'm scared they'd annoy me 🙂
Haha oh nooo. Floral patterns can be so nice, but I agree I'm not a big fan of super prominent patterns. And yeah I know what you mean about high waisted jeans. Finding the right pair helps. I do find them comfortable though!
Hi Meghan! I just found your channel and I've been binge-watching all of your videos for the past few days (so fun! love love LOVE your personality, content, vibe, all the things!). You mentioned in your fall thrift haul video that you're 5'2", and I wondered if you'd mind sharing what size you are because I'm the same height and I thiiiink we're the same size too. I've been looking at the Everlane curvy jeans for months, but I'm not sure about the sizing (bc I've heard mixed reviews). I thought maybe if we're the same size I'd have luck with whatever size you went with! Hope to hear from you! Hugs from Bermuda! :)
Your narrative is intricate and evocative; much like a book that was intricate and evocative. "The Joy of Less: A Minimalist Living Guide" by Matthew Cove
I find that most UA-cam channels talking about "staples" all recommend the same items. I don't wear any of them😲
I don't wear jeans at all. I don't wear white at all. I rarely wear a black top. I don't wear tank tops. I don't wear tights/leggings. I don't wear turtlenecks, chambray or denium tops/jackets.
Am I alone? I own 38 clothing items. My work life requires professional pieces (slacks, blazer & blouse). My casual dressing is either black slacks or black yoga pants. I have a couple colorful t-shirts, blouses & cardigans.
i agree. i found that blue jeans don't make me happy anymore so i donated my pair over 3 years ago. i own a pair of dark green and a pair of grey ones for work and some black ripped ones. otherwise my staples are flannels, graphic tees and striped shirts to wear underneath them, velvet flowy pants etc. clothes that a of people that shop for simplistic basics don't probably own haha. just goes to show that everyone is different!
wow, you must be a very elegant person :D I also have watched tons of this kinda videos and they're almost identical. of course, it depends on your lifestyle too. I do think some of the items above are not relevant to me. but it's good to have some ideas what you should and should not have :)
Loved the dresses👍👍👍
Black linen pants. Tunic style shirts.
Linen pants are the BEST!
Leggings are not tights! Leggings and tights are very different!!!!
Hey meghan how do u suggest pairing the leggings n jeggings if we have protruding belly n a petite body frame
Loved it! :)
Thank you for this video! Do you mind sharing what size you buy for the Everlane tops? I’ve been wanting to try them but it’s hard to figure out sizing without being able to try them on (even with the size chart I sometimes get it wrong).
Great content 👍🏻
Girl, you look like the Venus, by Sandro Botticelli.
Ii like the idea of wearing a shirt over a dress. 🤔 I’ll give it a try
What a great figure! Lovely.
I don’t wear plastic...
Do the black denim from Everlane collect a lot of lint or pet hair?
I do find they collect a bit of lint, but nothing crazy!
@@meghanlivingstone Thanks! I will have to try them next and the linen pants from Everlane.
@@JennaJohnsonRecipeDiaries They have a bit of stretch so they're quite comfy :) The linen pants though in this video were thrifted!
You are beautiful 🥰
How easy to convience people that you are an ethical brand without any proof...
