Just do a handstand when you see something disturbing so the blood doesn't leave your brain
LOL
This partially solves a problem but I imagine there'd be extra more interesting problems to clumping all that blood in your expanded veins in your head, I already don't like when gravity puts normal amounts of blood up there when upside down I can't imagine the feeling of extra more concentrated blood up there.
Thing is, the only handstand he can do is standing upright with your hands under your feet...
This is a reference to one of his videos
you’re watching a surgery and all of a sudden, you feel like you’re going to faint, “quick, do a handstand” you think to your self. doctor looks back to see what’s happening....he just sees a kid just doing a handstand while he is preforming a surgery
I love the idea but if you think about it, it would probably be extremely difficult to do a handstand while you can barely stand up. Again, love the idea tho😂
I also have this, one time I was in biology class and something subconsciously freaked my brain out. But I could feel it coming in advance, so I tried to retain consciousness because I didn't want to faint in class. What ended up happening is that I essentially fainted while remaining lucid, my vision clouded over until I was fully blind, my hearing got so muffled that everything became random radio static noise. Nobody noticed, so I just sat at my desk in the back sweating like crazy, completely blind and deaf for what felt like a solid minute or two while being conscious (if a bit woozy) the whole time, before my vision and hearing very slowly returned.
I had a similar experience once. I had a blood test, and I kind of fainted while it was happening. I saw myself from an outside perspective. I felt like something was trying to crush me, so I stretched my body out, and my mum said I actually stretched my body out. So that was weird.
Lucid Faint
I had this a lot growing up, always felt it coming and got this weird static in my ears and being numb and blind to everything pretty much.
I was always extremely skinny and once I hit puberty I had to eat about every 3 hours or I would faint because I didnt have enough energy reserves to keep functioning. As you can imagine that wasn't always easy to manage.
So how was your free trail of a blind and deaf person go
well i got a surgery when i was like 2 months old and i was TOLD that like they did not want to drug me so then the purposly filled my arteries with air and i fainted naturaly

*THANK YOU* I was officially diagnosed with vasovagal syncope my junior year of high school and it had been affecting me since childhood too. My parents never took me seriously until I was found passed out cold in the shower. I was out long enough that my hands were paralyzed and "stuck" to my chest due to lack of oxygen I was out for so long. I cannot thank you enough for making this condition more known. Nobody took me seriously because I was young. They all just thought I hadn't eaten enough. You were so spot on with everything in this video. The struggle and frustration that comes daily with this condition couldn't be depicted better. Mines a little more severe as physically exerting myself can also lead to me having a vasovagal reaction. I can't mow the lawn or I'll pass out, I struggle to sweep snow off of my car (I live in Montana we get a lot of heavy snow), and I will even faint sometimes if I am too stressed or overstimulated. I shared this video with all of my friends and co-workers so hopefully, they'll better understand. Thank you.
I'm just glad that nowadays these things have a name and a diagnose, since in the "good" old days ppl with this would be ostracized for something they have no control over.
I mean they still do, this happened to me a few times in my childhood and I went to a heart specialist, but they couldnt figure out what it was so they just said I was dehydrated and left it at that. Even after finding this out from this video I told my parents about it and they didnt believe me, giving me “that” look
@@RainbowAnimeCupcake yeah, there are certainly people like that and sadly like your parents. and I'm so sorry they do not want to look into something that might be connected to your health. If you are american, it makes more sense since I've noticed, a lot of americans go into debt just because of health care issues there. less value on health than money, sadly. if you are not american than I really don't see why your parents are neglecting your needs but then again there are various types of parents and I'm just sad to hear that they are not looking into the problem you have. hope it will change in time or at least you'll be able to look into that yourself and figure it out. it is always better to seek further even if you don't find anything rather than miss something that might make your life easier by fixing it or at least it will bring a piece of mind knowing what it is or isn't. I'm just glad that it used to be a majority and it isn't anymore. I mean, it was "cool" to bully people, like look at the old teen movies that spin around schools... yikes! today is a bit different. there's still bullies and incompetent people but it is much better and those people are frowned upon general. not everywhere, not all but I hope a majority.
Reminds me of how in the dark ages "witches" were actually just people with mental disabilities and disorders

Ikr. Also Love ur pfp bro.
My dad and brother both struggle from it. If they get cut and see the blood they pass out. It can be VERY annoying even for me. My dad cut himself on a chopsaw and passed out.
Dang. Though having a dad that uses a chop saw must be pretty great, wood workers unite. :)
Same with me. I used to faint at the mention of gushing blood. I’m a little better now, but still not good.
I also have it and it was very scary. The first time it happened I was re-watching a movie I had seen before and I saw a bloody scene. I suddenly felt very bad and fainted. My mom says that you heard a crash and came when I wasn't answering. apparently I was so pale that she called 911, she thought I had a heart attack or somthing.

Hey I think I have this, one time in class our teacher was showing us pictures of people with stigmata(a lot of bleeding) and my brain was like “aight I’m out” and then I woke up on the floor
Haha I do that
Yeh I weirdly narrate moments like that before they happen too lol Like, "Yep, Imma faint brb" 😅 Glad that doesn't happen often.
My physics teacher was gonna show us laser eye surgery stuff and said that fainting had happened in the past to some people
Yeah I typically get light headed when I see gore and get vivid imageries In my imagination for detailed stories.
That happens to me (stuff about blood)
I think I might have this, a couple family members have it, and I’ve had some of the same reactions to stuff. Just never been diagnosed.
But the first and only time I’ve passed out was when I needed to get 12 vials of blood drawn, and I decided I was fine to watch them draw my blood. They put the needle in and I saw my blood come out. Then I went pale, got clammy, the nurse asked if I was ok I said “yeah” then woke up a minute later being carried to a bed.
The two most recent times it happened was first I was in the hospital after having a spontaneous lung collapse… which apparently is possible. I had a chest tube inserted through my rib cage drawing air out of my chest cavity. When I finally got it removed the nurse just yanked it out. I could feel it move under and through my ribs and instantly the blood rushed out of head. I just looked at my mom, some nurses, and a doctor all talking and was like “Im gonna pass out.” Funny enough, those words make nurses, moms, and doctors move very quickly.
Then just a couple weeks ago I twisted my ankle, not two bad, but then the blood rushed from my head and I almost passed out.
If this is a genetic trait i´m surprised you are even alive. like imagine your ancestors trying to defend themselves from a lion and they just get knocked out by the fear. "GGEZ"-Lion
(also the plushie looks EXTRA "S O F T" )
brain see bad, brain go ahh, *”engine powering down”*
I was feeling really light headed in math at one point and the teacher made me lie on the floor and put my legs up on a chair. I felt better in like 10 seconds. I don't know if that was bad but it worked. I had all the same symptoms of cloudy visions, head going blank, and dizzyness.
That’s actually fine - putting the legs above the level of your heart sends the blood from the legs back down, and thus more can be sent to the head. This is how shock is treated - you always want to elevate the legs - not necessarily need to do so on a chair but at least above the level of the heart *proud nurse for last 8 years* ❤️
I had something like this once, I think it was something like a “heat stroke”, I just felt very dehydrated and almost pass out, the only reason why I didn’t is because I had something to sit down on and had water on me, but felt very weak and light at the same time.
You, my friend, were going into shock.
@@Not_Skynet2044 yes I know. It happened another time when I fell down and got up and was fine. Body was like nope and I got dizzy and passed out on the pavement. This was at recess in grade 4. I scared a lot of people. Everyone always told me after that I had gone into shock.
my boi was so stunned by the math final he was in shock
if i ever get close to fainting, i will jump into the air to cause the most pain and brain damage as possible

Oh man, it was reassuring to watch this because I think this happened to me, somehow having a name and explanation to it and hearing someone else's experiences is really comforting. A few years ago in a college biology class I passed out when we were talking about cancer, which was nothing new to me even since I've known people in my life before who have had cancer. But for some reason that day, talking about it in depth really freaked me out and I fainted right in the middle of class. I probably also had low blood pressure since I fell asleep early the previous night before I had the chance to eat dinner.
It sucked because obviously passing out is embarrassing, even though it's totally not your fault. I didn't know anyone in class that semester and after I passed out everyone was super awkward around me until the end of semester, so needless to say I was glad for it to end and never see anyone from that class again lol
One time I was just brushing my teeth and my brain was just like: *no*

That literally happens to me when I have to stand up while getting a pimple popped or getting my haircut. I know, it’s weird. And I actually fainted for a couple seconds before from it.
I think that may just be an iron deficiency
@@normalhuman78-53 I’m not sure if it’s that. I do eat a lot of foods that are high in iron.
@@Snoebal hmm. The disorder in the video typically does not wait until you stand up. It’s possible you might have a very mild condition of it that amplifies the low blood pressure anyone gets from standing up after sitting for a while, but I’m no doctor so take that with a grain of salt

I had a very... interesting introduction to my vasovagal syncope. I had done some running around with friends & ended up skinning my knee on a carpet. I went home, got a bandaid, & started going on to whatever I was going to do next. As I was walking to sit on the couch I blacked out, & next thing I know I'm on the floor with an aching head. I had entirely fainted, & all 6'2" of me came crashing to the ground grazing a bookshelf with my forehead on the way down... not fun.

The only UA-camr merch that I've ever bought, was an Unus Annus poster for my brother. I have never REALLY thought about a youtubers merch more than "aw that's cute" or "aw, I wish I had money to support the creators I watch". I totally get the whole "helpful to know what's going on beforehand" thing. I have fibromyalgia (basically my nervous system is a bit broken and often perceives most stimuli as pain, especially fysical contact), so when I know someone is going to hug me for example, it might not even hurt one bit. But if it they were to hug me from behind and take me by surprise my body might decide to say "It hurts, we're being attacked! We can't breathe!" Instead, despite the hug being exactly the same force.
Wonder why that is :/
"i was like, god DAA-"

the plushie just arrived and it's so beautiful! Its eyes hold all the knowledge in the universe! I love it :D
I remember when I was at a doctor’s office, I was gonna have something done with my nose. I have no idea what it was, but I saw the doctor take out a GIANT “syringe” and start walking in my direction. Me being like 5 years old, my mind immediately turned to one thing as the explanation: *NEEDLE.*
I got the impression that the doctor was going to shove that needle into my nose and go all the way to my brain, like with the ancient Egyptian mummies when they pulled their brains out through their noses.
I ran.
There was a curtain next to a window in the hallway, and I decided that the only way to stop the doctor from shoving that needle up my nose would be....to climb up the curtain and refuse to come down. However, that curtain was held in place only by a few aluminum rings on a pole, meaning as soon as I started climbing, the entire curtain broke off and covered me up completely like a net.
I did that thing that kids do at night where they cover their heads with the blanket and think that the monsters can’t get to them, except my “blanket” was a curtain, and the only monster there was me.
It turns out, that giant “needle” the doctor had was a bottle of nasal spray for my allergies.
Oops.

“Sometimes”?
Wow. Mine does it all the time.
I mean I do it when I stand up and feel like blacking out for no reason sometimes (but never actually do), mainly because blood pools up mainly in my legs when laying down or sitting, which is called “Orthostatic hypotension” according to google when I typed in “why do I feel like fainting when I stand up sometimes”

The only thing I want for Christmas is you to upload more if possible
So the brain tries killing itself by draining itself of oxygen
So, basically the old thing of "if a person sees blood or something traumatic like they show in the movies" they feint. *EDIT: Try having veins that basically don't exist when getting blood drawn ALMOST EVERY OTHER MONTH!*
