As a Syrian , I gotta say WELCOME buddy in your country 💌
i feel so proud when a foreign person visits my country syria
Hello my friend Sylvester, I am from Damascus and I am glad that you are in our country and you are welcome. I hope to meet you to say hello.
Same and i live in it too
For those wondering, the two songs starting at 0:50 are: Dalali by Nassif Zeytoun and Yamma el Hob by Takat Band
I knew a Syrian friend back I. The mid 00 and he came in a city I live in the uk.
His government at the time was paying for literally everything including his course at university, living costs and much more. He was literally the guy when we would go out on a night out simply because he had thousands of English pounds in his pocket. It’s a shame the lovely country of Syria to go from paying for its students no expenses spared to now one of poor countries in the world.
It’s sad honestly.
He must have been well connected. Sounds like one of these diplomat children who get sent off to a UK university to pursue their studies.
This is the result of foreign conspiracies against Syria
@@RovexHD oh I thought it was the same for all Uni goers from Syria tbh or at least that’s what he told me
@@manchesterunited1980 It is true, government will pay for your schooling but you have to have good grades as well. The public universities are free, private ones cost money.
because nato funded terrorists to destroy syria
Syria is beautiful!
Than go and live there!,!!
It’s medevil!
Is it tho?
@@MaxD-lp9rw It’s a hell hole, controlled by Religious fanatics, who always keep the people down and attack other countries, unfortunately to the religion that causes this problem
It used to be sir , it used to be 😟
Damascus has such a rich history and your video captures its essence beautifully. Left me wanting to visit!
I have canadian citizenship but Choose syria at such times
The Umayyad Mosque is breathtaking. When I walked through its grounds I felt peace like no other. ❤
This is a great video. Thank you. I really enjoyed learning about the war-devastated Syria.
4:17 you should see the mountain at night, it is so beautiful
As an Syrian i love this video
Excellent Videos. Hola from Queretaro.
Dam Sly be everywhere God bless be safe brother.
Country is safe; even during the war, the capital was relatively safe… Tho rolling blackouts make it less fun lol
That is a very informative guide you have
I remember reading in the Bible Abraham walking around Damascus. Truly the oldest lived in city.
Syria ❤
We will always be friends, even if the political alliance comes to an end. We never forget those who stood by our side. 🇸🇾🤝🇷🇺
My dream is visiting Russia 🇷🇺
Yes so true my friend those who helped Russia they helped Russian soldiers with their girls ,jesus bless you 😇
I just wish you are able to see syria at its prime
Friday is family day, a day off, so the streets are empty and shops are closed
The signs gave me flash backs 8:36 i saw the exact same one
Welcome my friend❤️

My beautiful Syria
14:41 I've never seen such a wedding
If you’re still here welcome to stay as long as you want
😊
Up on the mountains u missed to check out the cave which has an indentation of Gabriel's hand as he lifted the mountain and the moumtain since then is crying (water truly comes out in droplets like tears and no one can explain why. I can't remember how this story belonged to a wider context about fourty good men protecting damascus and how cain killed hain or something like that
I really hope you get to visit the Valley of Christians (Homs countryside) and Tartous. Different unique vibes and you will will love it!
Great tour guide.
16:25 the Umayyad Mosque if you want to know
Beautiful ❤
🇸🇾❤️
Hi im a syrian and im in yabrud right now
I'm Palestinian originally but I live in Syria.
Many women don't wear hijab normal Muslims in Syria are secular and they have so much ethnic and religious diversity like Christianity Alawits Druze etc.. you should visit Swaida city to see the mysterious Druze people and the ancient Byzantine churches and Roman ruins
That's why Russia loves and support Syria 🇸🇾 ❤️🇷🇺
No? The woman that don't wear it are most likely Christian
What a nice video nice Syria...thank you greetings from Germany.
Thank you, sir.
Beautiful ❤
10:26 my mother's uncle lives there
2:30 this is literally Erwin Smith in reality😢
Damascus has been enlightened by your visit
Bro there's a lot to do in syria plenty of beautiful places and restaurants, views, old culture, new culture hit me up if u want we can do something interesting if u still in syria... Keep on the good work.!

Welcome to syria 🇸🇾🇸🇾🇸🇾
My home 💔
😊love seeing weddings from other cultures, thank you! i am wondering if the bride was cloistered away waiting to be "stolen"? You had a most gracious guide.
I’m not sure but it looks like it’s a Druze community 😊, typical clothing for them in the Levant
I’m not sure but it looks like it’s a Druze community 😊, typical clothing for them in the Levant
@@raychat2816 no not the Druze , this's typical Damascene clothing, the Druze wardrobe is similar but different in colors and in some elements but in general Syrian traditional clothing looks like the Greek one
@@raychat2816No they are sunna and that thier traditional clothes in Damascus..Druze are in Sweda city
good you wasn't alone! that lil laugh could've turned into tears real quick
Chill chill, if he was alone, and even if he was both alone and gay, he'd be just fine, everything your government have told you about syria is false. Believe me buddy
You'd be flabbergasted by the amount of lgbt people we got here, and they live a very normal life without a single bit of danger, P.s : like 50% of them are Muslims,
This, and also goes for everything else you've been told about syria.
All lies, just like when they told you iraq had weapons of mass destruction, ISIS is the reason such lies exist, and who fought ISIS? It was the syrian government, and who created isis? USA.
Why? It is more safe than the UK😂😂
11:45 I live in syria I went here before❤
Am Syrian am proud 🖤
must be a nice break to have someone to take you places, you don't have to be so stressed out. How much is it to have a guide? Before sanctions, did tourists have to have a guide as well or it is just now?
Come to rukkn aldeen bro
Isn’t the presidential palace near the mountain ?
Yes it is but from other side
Guys Syria is still beautiful and good, I visited Syria and I’m still there. Everything is good but the problem is: 1 hour electricity, 1 day of water and water comes back every 2 days, expensive things
Please don’t hate on Syria
take syrian refugees back
8:53 I've never ate snickers man
Your videos are interesting. I feel you could get more views if your video titles were more catchy... something that would make people curious where they feel they need to watch it. I think they call it click bait???
But I like your videos... keep up the good work!
@@RD-om3nj
Shut up
What do you think of Syrian songs? Are they the best or your songs are the best
WHy didnt u eat the truffle, had snickers instead xD
1:18 it is not a Syrian song, just an arabic one

I wouldn't call it the worst
This is Syria not Israel 😂😂 perhaps you missed that detail ? 😊
@@raychat2816 i was born in syria
@@axo35265 you just gave me a typically American answer, BORN in Syria, probably raised in the Sates, therefore indoctrinated, are you a supporter of ISIS then because that’s who was trying to take Syria and those think exactly like Israel: kill anything that’s not them, any historical landmark preceding them is good for destruction … even ISIS members were getting hospitalized in Israel, and you TODAY being against Assad means only that you are an avid supporter of extremists, because wether you like it or not, people lived until the war which was clearly pushed by West in service to Israel took place …
I’m not only born in Lebanon. I live there and defeating ISIS was one of the greatest victories against systematic racism in recent history.
If you are simply Sunni and hate the fact that Alawite Assad is in power, you STILL concede to kill anyone not like you and have no problem being under foreign occupation to have that.
So which is it ?
Cry in relief
I am a syria and 3:19 al-azma is the wrong name it is al-azem I am a part of the al-azem family I am in a summer vacation right now in Damascus my home country also known as dimashq in arabic language and pretty sad you didn’t go to the al-azem palace now bye!

Masyaf is about 200Km north of Damascus 😂, not sure he’ll be making it 😊

Assad regime with help of Iran and Russia. Naturally, USA and NATO butted in to get some oil aswell.
So gangs rose in power by selling weapons to everyone.
lets juest say dont stay there because youll hate it because our people are the opposite of the tourists most of us hate it here
Oldest continuously inhabited capital.
Sly be your best and invite criticism.
Everything happened in syria because of us and European countries
Better than parts of cape vaal Natal, no tatty beggars en masse
my heart is sinking into my stomach, I don't like this
bro doesnt even know the meaning of the songs i am syrian btw
Demash6us xD
You should be ashamed of yourself. Try to focus on the people's suffering in all aspects of their lives.. poverty, oppression, corruption, and lack of basic services.. and try to focus more on the pictures.. you will find neglect, filth, and destruction.. and we were fair.. it is more important than being a paid UA-camr..
