Seriously the best amigurumi sewing video I've ever seen. Everyone else fails to recognize that there is more than one type of piece that you need to sew. I think this will greatly improve my amigurumis!
Thank you 🥹 I really appreciate the comments like this - I’m glad to be of help!
THIS. I’ve been struggling so much and this video has been so helpful.
I had no idea there were so many different ways to stitch pieces into the head or anywhere else! I watched other videos but they never specified that there were others other than the open stitch. Thank you thank you thank you!!
I’ve been crocheting less than 6 months and I have probably come back to this video 10 times. Every other video confused me so much and you broke it down perfectly with the different pieces. Thank you for helping me not want to tear my hair out sewing!!!
This was so helpful! I love the way sewn plushies look, but i always shy away from sewing them when using plush yarn, because we all know the fluff splitting apart is such a pain! Thank you so much for this video! Im off to go sew some stuff! :)
Perfect video!! Exactly what I was looking for. Super helpful!! Thank you!
Your sewing video was so helpful! Using pins and knowing where to sew (inside, outside) made the sewing much easier. Thank you!
I just started crochet and these tips were all AMAZING!!! Oh, and your hecka adorable.
Wow, this video was a game changer for me. Before this video I HATED sewing on pieces and I would crochet something and not finish it for weeks. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I have most of my trouble sewing on the head. Do you have a video for that? I love all of your tips. Thank you so much.
Love the pin marking trick. I feel like i always count and then just hold my breath and pray it looks even 😂 much more organized and nit as intimidating. Also so happy i got a bent tip needle now! I had an awful plastic one because its all i could find at walmart when i got started. Its permanently retired now
I started off with a plastic straight tip one and it snapped 😅 the metal bent tip ones are life savers
Wow, you make it look so easy. The pin marking trick is ingenious. Thanks for sharing your talents.
This video was so helpful!! I'm about to do a bunch of cows for a event!
I love this video. It is the best one on this subject. Thank you! xo
Best video I’ve seen so far. I gave up amigurumi before because even after watching videos, all my plushies would turn out looking horrible. Trying to get into it again to sell them and this has helped a TON! Thank you!
Ok, you are literally my new favourite crocheter. I'm a beginner and appreciate the tips! *runs to buy bent needles* lol and your work is flawless wowwww
Thank you! The hint about using matching acrylic yarn is very useful! I was stuck that you needed to use matching/same yarn! Plus affirming that the lines don’t match on each side! Excellent video!
I have searched far and wide, in amigurumi books and countless videos for sewing techniques and this is the most informative, clearest one. Thanks so much!!!
Omg that’s really kind of you to say ❤ I’m glad to have helped!
Wow! So clear! You make it look sooo easy!
So cute! It was so fun making this with you! More video's please!
Thank you a thousand times….just tried your method of sewing on pieces and it worked great!!!🎉🎉🎉

This is the first comment that I have left on a UA-cam video. I just wanted to say thank you. I have struggled on how to attach parts to my amigurumi. And your tips and tricks have made it so easy. The pinning of the pins to mark where I want to sew is just incredibly easy. Thank you again I have been looking for you for a year. I will follow all of your videos. Thank you again.
Thank you so much! I’m so happy that I’ve been able to help 🥹

GAME CHANGING! Thank you!!!!!
Thanks a bunch. I watch a lot of UA-cam to learn different things. Always in a search until I find the right teacher. In the case of sewing which was daunting for me (learning how to amigurumi/plushies) your tips and tricks help me a lot on navigating my first Grogu (Baby Yoda) . I made other no sew plushies with no difficulty but this one since it was cotton, small hook and needed sawing was a little challenge until I found this video. 👏🏽👌🏽👍🏽

I just started amigurami and made my brother a sunflower. Wish I had found this before I had put it all together. This video has been saved to my favourites so I can always refer back when I need to
This video is fantastic! The best sewing video I have found on UA-cam. Thankyou for the hints and tips!
You’re so welcome!
I’ve only been crocheting for 2 months I love this video and the one about how to sew with chenille thanks to you I was able to perfectly sew my snuggler for my baby and didn’t have to sew with another yarn ! I was able to use chenille to sew without any snapping or fraying thank you so much ❤
The best sewing up video I’ve seen. So easy to follow along. Thank you. ❤️🧁
Thank you
Thank you. That's so helpful. The best sewing tutorial I've ever seen!
You're sew welcome ;)
Very nice video on stitching everything together. I use the same invisible method and everything looks neat apart from my flat pieces. I had never thought about going round the posts for those so will try that, like you say the pieces can deform going over the top. Thanks for the video, I look forward to future content.
Fantastic video! Thank you so much :)
This video is AMAZING!!! It’s the best explanation I could find on how to sew the pieces together.
You are so welcome
I love that you do step by step to help crochet beginners understand it better❤❤
Just trying to make it super clear 🥹

Thank u I needed this I was stressed about the sewing part because I had no idea how to make it look good hahaha I was just sewing randomly and it was coming out wonky lol
Second time watching this and probably wont be the last. Sooooo so helpful. Sewing is something I second guess myself on ALL THE TIME. So this helps me a lotttttt. Tysm! ❤

So informative! Always struggled with sewing so this is just what I needed :)
Yay! I’m glad you found it helpful!!
I'm about to attempt assembly on a dragon, and it has way more pieces than anything I've tried before. This video is really helping it seem less daunting. Thank you so much! Also it's nice to hear from a pro that you can't fully get past the wonky aspect from the spiral lol
Awesome Tutorial!! I have booked marked it for future reference! 🥰
Yay! Thank you
Okay I love that pin idea!
It’s done wonders for me!
I just sewed on an open piece with your technique and the difference it made is phenomenal !!! Thank you for the tutorial 🤓
Yay! I'm glad you found it useful!
So helpful for a newbie who is awful at sewing
This was a great help, you made it seem less scary and intimidating. Thank you!
Making sewing less intimidating is one of my main goals with this!
Thanks a bunch, I have been making amigurumi for quite a while, but always seem to have so much trouble with getting the sewing to look right. This helps so much to realize what I was doing to make it come out weird! 🎉You are 🔥!
Huzzah! I’m happy to have helped!
Thank you for the new techniques. Definitely going to try the pin idea until I get more comfortable with placements!
Excellent! I think it just mainly helps with getting used to a “grid”
This was so helpful! Thank you!!
You’re so welcome!
New sub. You gave some great tips. I plan to make at least one plushie this year.
Hooly Dooly !!! Cheers for that, I was having so much trouble with a bear muzzle. used the around the post method....Perfect thanks for sharing
Glad it helped!!
Thank you so much for these tips, I definitely feel more comfortable with sewing now! I had something to ask, I know you talked a little bit about avoiding conehead in plushies in your “Crochet Tips For Plush Yarn” video, and I wanted to know if you could maybe do a more in depth video? Still getting that sneaky conehead in my work. again, Thank you so much!
Such a helpful video!!!
Thank you for an excellent video on sewing amigurumi pieces together. This is my first time making one and I was at a loss how to sew the pieces together and your video provided the answer!!! Can I use cotton yarn which is much thinner than the parfait chunky I’m using to sew pieces together? It was the only yarn I could find that colour matched. Thanks
Oh my god youre absolutely amazing. I literally struggled so hard w sewing cause my sister was instructing me incorrectly and now its done and looks great 😸
I'm glad I could help
Aw thanks for the tag! It’s nice to see it done with plush yarn! (something I haven’t gotten the hang of yet 😅)
I still gotta credit you for a lot of my early day encouragement 🥰🥰
@@crochetmezaddy that’s really refreshing to see in an online world where lots of people don’t like to give credit to others. You have my respect sir! 🫡 I see you’re still using your OG lil cactus too!
The sewing has always distressed me sew much >.< This is really helpful! Thank you for sharing.
I hope it’s less stressful now! The craft is there to be enjoyed!
one hack i have for those little ends you want to push in (like at 10:36) is to use a chopstick! it works better than anything else i've tried
Amazing video
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been doing everything wrong for a while. 😂. I learned so much here.
Yay! You’re ‘sew’ welcome 🙏
Just subscribed...thanks for the sewing demo. I was having difficulties.
I'm glad I could help!
Thank you very much I'm a professional crocheter but I don't know how to sew properly I have learned from myself but this way is so much easier for me to learn to sew correctly
I’m glad to have helped!
Thanks this is helpful
Wow, what an absolutely well done video. I have stayed away from amigurumi because of sewing on all the extra bits. I love blanket yarn and have created other crotchet items with it. Now I feel like I can perhaps give amigurumi a try. Thank you so much. Enjoy your videos. I subscribed . Oh I also have much respect how you tagged the other created.
Haha she was the creator who inspired me to keep going and become a creator myself - so we have to thank her when we have the opportunity!
I liked and subscribed thanks for this useful video
I really feel scared but your encouragement is really useful
Thank you so much for this video. Very helpful! If you don't mind, do you have any suggestion how to sew flat pieces which you don't have to sew on fully, like only center? In one of my patterns I have a flower attached to a head, and this flower has two colors, so I ended up with like 4 yarn tails, one of them I use to attach, but I have no idea what to do with the rest of them. I can't just cut them, because the flower can just detangle. Feeling helpless
Thank God I found you!
Love this! Is there a tutorial on how to sew pieces together when they don’t have a tail? I just can’t figure out how to start it..
8:00 starts the sewing tutorial
Thank you 😊
Just wanted to thank you for this tutorial.... i made a couple Amigarumi right after I started crocheting, and the videos didn't show how to attach the pieces, and they came out all lopsided. Looking forward to making another one now.
Thank you so much for this video. I was selling together my first multicolor piece for my grandson’s Easter present, and I was ready to trash it.😂❤
I like the pin idea, especially with things like legs. I always struggle with keeping it round. Also really like how you did the flat piece. I always struggle sewing flat round things like eyes on because it seems no matter how hard I try I end up basically in the middle of stitches and it either changes the shape or you can see the yarn where I sewed it on
Yay! I’m so glad it’s been helpful 🥰🥰
