As a U.S. citizen and political activist, I'm ashamed of the way my country has always treated China. The irony is that the U.S. is itself turning into a third world country; the homeless population here in Seattle is unbelievable. And so I'm glad that China is helping Latin American countries escape Yankee imperialism. I'm hoping that China can someday, somehow help the U.S. itself pull itself together.

That is not going to happen. The US is, unfortunately, too arrogant and proud to seek that.

Not true, china's influence came in hand with the rise of corrupt presidents in the region but that has changed, latin american is not a stable puppet of china, they tried but only succeded in venezuela and nicaragua

@@MrMarcosema It's not true, do you know the Brics? In which Brazil is a part and perhaps Mexico and Argentina will enter in the future. The influence of China is perceptible all over the world, it is the main trading partner of Latam, Africa, the European Union recently and the USA itself. China will be the biggest economy, and it is pragmatic in its relations with the world, its influence is inevitable.

@@MrMarcosema It is economically what I am talking about, and India also has China as its main economic partner, so yes, economic influence, not political, but economic influence is already a lot.

@@MrMarcosema That is what you don't understand, China is all about trade and investments - everything ECONOMY. They don't care what religion or political system you have. They don't ever try to impose their system and never interfere with other nation's internal affairs. Thus BRICS is just what the doctor ordered. china has no plan of forming a military bloc. As far as China is concerned, the US can do that for all they care.

It has never been the US foreign policy to help other countries, only beggar thy neighbours and even far away countries. Just look at Puerto Rico, a supposed US "territory", whatever that means. By using an synonym for its colony of Puerto Rico, the US regime justify its neglect and abuse of Puerto Rico.

I'm neutral in the rivalry of the United States of America 🇺🇲 and China 🇨🇳 I prefer peace.
But in Latin American geopolitics, if China wants to win the love of the Latin American people.
You must accept the doctrine of:
AMERICA IS A CONTINENT, NOT A COUNTRY.
Predominant in all Latin American countries.
Because America is a continent, not a country, not two continents.
From Greenland to Argentina they are all Americans.
In all the countries of Latin America, in Latin Europe, and many other countries, it is taught that America is a complete continent, remember that the name of America was originally to name a new continent, (not a country or two continents) discovered lands by Spain and Portugal, (England had no existing colonies in North America) in honor of Amerigo Vespuci, an Italian navigator in the service of Spain, who was never in North America.
It is as if China calls itself the ROC of Asia and they call themselves the only Asians, which would be wrong.
In this way, if China were to take the position that North America and South America are one continent, in geography school classes in the most populous country in the world, it would be taught that America is one continent, and not the stupid. Anglo-Saxon idea of two continents.
It would be of great help because China is the most populous country in the world and one with the greatest global influence, the world perception of the United States would change.
This would win the support of Latin America.
It would be great since the United States would also have to modify its geography classes.
    Ha ha

The USA has been lukewarm toward its Southern countries, and the poor from these countries are flocking to USA legally or not.
    🎉🎉🎉🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
China enters to build infrastructure and trade with South America and the people are appreciating the results in enriching them.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
