I agree; I'm in Oklahoma and not very fond of seeing so many acres of land here being sold to the Chinese, especially when we have so many military bases in the state & considering that nobody knows what they're putting on or building on any of that property. With the way China is over wanting to expand what they "own" or think they own, time will only tell if the world will end up in a war with them or not....or if they'll step in and decide to help Russia in Ukraine.
Exactly for example you can open a Business in the Philippines but you cannot own the land or the building. You must pay rent and be ready to get ripped off big time so at this point I don't trust none of these foreign countries. I know because I live in a town with my grandpas farm that I work on every summer, and it gets harder and harder each year to keep it. Back then it wasn’t near as bad, but nowadays we have local farms going bankrupt everywhere around us, and being bought up by bigger corporations. Really sad but true.
