@@ColdSkinGamer yeah, I don't remember who it was (I watch a lot of dnd stuff) but someone I watched said it was kind of underwhelming, particularly compared to eldritch knight. They talked about how the eldritch knight can make multiple attacks and has the cantrip ability, but I don't think they really looked at the high level spell combos. Again, they didn't say it was bad, just meh when compared to the other martial spellcaster options like eldritch knight and paladin.

You've got your fairy tails mixed up. "Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot" is a different fairy tail than Schneewittchen. Schneewittchen is pronounced Schnee-witch-ien and is the girl with the seven dwarves. Both are translated as Snow White into English but they are different characters from different stories.

I have a friend with a 20 Ancients Paladin tiefling, stone plate armor +2 and a +3 shield... as well as Shield *and* a Cloak of Displacement. Fun times.

I know this build will have more spells than you listed but man I was waiting for you to explain Steel Wind Strike. It's the most anime spell and fits the whole Rwby asthetic perfectly.
I think the only build that may rival her is the other Bladesinger 19 build I know Tulok has made, and that's because his spells are mostly AOE, including his 9th level one

Tasha’s cut the Elf or Half-elf only requirement for Bladesinger and changed their 6th level ability too! Edit: it also changed the amount of uses of Bladesong and made it recharged on a long rest.
Sadly, by the time of this video's release, Tasha's isn't *officially* out yet, so he's gotta stick with the Sword Coast book. That being said, it is to his benefit that Tasha's is effectively lifting the requirement for Bladesinger. ^^
It'll also introduce the Summon Construct spell, which (depending on the details on the spell; it was the only "Summon" spell in Tasha's that didn't already appear in UA) would make a solid way for Weiss to summon her knight before the endgame of a campaign. (Also, Tasha's Bladesingers have the ability to swap out one of their Attack-action attacks for a cantrip, which opens up Green-Flame Blade and Booming Blade as options.)
Reverse Gravity is one of my favorite spells. If you're in an enclosed space that's big enough, you can straight deal up to 20d6 damage in an area with a 7th level spellslot. It has to be a perfect size for this to happen, but I can dream.
I mean just do it outside? As a DM. My minor villain had this spell, and the fear of fall damage alone was enough to send my party into a panic. Not mentioning the fact that I also cast transmute rock under them. Dropped them into the mud. Then casting dispel magic to turn it back into stone, and freeze them still.
@@awesomechainsaw Yeah doing it anywhere without a ceiling gives you access to a 10d6 fall damage spell, but that's lower damage than upcasting lower spells. If there's a 100 foot high ceiling though, then targets fall twice, once they'll hit the ceiling, then you can drop concentration and have them hit the ground. Even without that many creatures are left helplessly dangling in the air though.

Glad to see best girl RWBY getting some love. Though I would recommend using point buy for such a MAD character. That was you can cap off both Dex and Int AND squeeze in 2 levels of Fighter instead of just 1 for a few extra health points and Action surge. Is it stronger? Yes, but that's not the point. If you are making a burst speed character and you don't have Haste up, Action surge has you covered. Shout out to Steel Wind Strike btw, if that spells doesn't scream Weiss styling on her foes i dunno what does.
@@apex2000 You trade the level 19 of the Wiz which gives you an extra ASI/Feat and a level 6 spell slot. Since with a point buy you still max out your important stats personally i think it's worth it two have 2 levels of Fighter, don't sleep on Action Surge and a few extra hit points. Usually I love to RP use it in situations where the character is stressed for one reason or another and its do or die time, plus hey, short brake options. If you really wanna rob yourself of such a cool RP and mechanical option though, grab the Tough feat and just get 40 extra HP at level 20. While obviously insanely good keep in mind numbers are boring, abilities are always more fun. Sorry for the long reply, as you can probably guess we are all passionate about tabletop on this channel lol.

Before watching: I’m gonna say Weiss is gonna be a human with 6 levels in fighter for eldritch knight snd 14 levels in conjuration or evocation wizard. Also possibly taking the elemental adept feat for ice damage. Edit: well, bladesinger fits really well, especially considering her performance background, I just wasn’t expecting him to put it on a human.
@@Bs11_game That's how I did my Weiss build, 5 lvls College of Swords Bard and 15 lvls Bladesinger Wizard. I figured that the degree of education that Weiss would have undergone in her training to be heiress for the SDC would be reflected by the Jack of All Trades ability, and I took Bard to lvl 5 to get Font of Inspiration, so she could refresh her Bardic inspiration and Flourishes every short rest rather than long rest.
When do I thought about a Weiss D&D character, I thought more of a Sword College Bard. Only because of magic Secrets and beign able to conjure that Guardian from the Cleric spell list. But the build is very interesting as well
It does work with Wiess's musical background, but I don't know if Wiess actually plays an instrument. Her singing is amazing, but she always has someone else play the music. The guardian from cleric spells is a better match for the knight summon, as he's not actually ice either.

Bard doesn’t really get access to most of the spells weiss needs outside of magical secrets (haste, any ice spells, sone fire stuff, whirlwind etc.) and with only six magical secret spell it would always leave some spell out.

He's definitely a Battle Smith (Artificer) given that Norm must be a Steel Defender. From there, get creative with spells and infusions. The only downside is you'll have to choose a few regular -inators as you can only change them on level-up. Unless your DM is cool. Intelligence is your primary stat, followed by Constitution (you get beat up by a platypus everyday and bounce right back), Charisma (you and said platypus end up as friends, sort of. Frenemies), Wisdom, Dex, and Strength. Those last three can and should be dumped.
I'd never touched 5e until I decided to build Weiss in it (3.5e is both my paradise and my prison). I made her a high-elf since I tend to be a bit of a rules lawyer. Nice to see I wasn't too far off with the stats too. Fun! Very cool video, great to see the differences between the builds.
I feel like starting off with a magic class like wizard/sorcerer/warlock is pretty realistic for RWBY characters given mage armor allows you to get aura covered right away.
But seriously. A paladin caps out at around 27 Armor Class with no spells. With haste, it becomes 29, cast Shield o' Faith on yourself, it becomes 31, and, if you so choose, take the Magic Initiate Feat for Sorcerers, get that sweet, sweet +5 to Armor Class, or, if you have at least 13 Dex, go snag that +prof bon from Defensive Duelist whilst wielding a Rapier and Shield, and you got yourself 36-37 for a split second. But wait! That was Heavy and Medium Armor. Wanna see what shenanigans we can do with Light Armor? So, with around 24 Dexterity (perfectly acceptable for a 20th level character, as the Barbarian gets a capstone of 24 at 20th level), Studded Leather Armor of the +3 variety, a Rapier, a Shield of the +3 variety, and Defensive Duelist, we have 15+7+5+1+2+2+6. 15+7 is 22, +1 is 23, +4 is 27, +5 is 32, +6 is 38. And that is on the lower end. Wanna see some real shit? You want to ask your DM about this, as it uses Max Dex and Con (we are multiclassing into Barbarian y'all). So, we have a base of 10, add 10 from Constitution, then add 10 from Dexterity. You have 30. Add 5 from Shield, then add 4 from your spells. That's 39. Add 6 from your Defensive Duelist Rapier, and you got an armor class of the terrifying number of 45, as much as Tiamat, if not, _more_
Tulok, thank you, not just for this build of best girl but for all that you do. If you ever decide to do more RWBY builds I would cast my ballot for some villains.
I play a bladesinger, and I love it so much. To fix the low Wizard HP problem, I ended up getting an Amulet of Health which makes my con score 19 at base. It has officially turned me into the offtank of the party lol
I did the same thing with my bladesinger Wizard. Add the Tough feat and good rolls for HP on level ups, and i was 2nd highest HP after the barbarian. XD I showed the sheet to another dnd friend and he said "thats illegal. Wizards should not have that much health."
Speaking of finishing teams, I've been toying around with some She-Ra builds--might I suggest to you, Glimmer as a Hexblade/Divine Soul Sorcerer (I went Variant Human to nab the Fey Touched feat at first level to start with Misty Step, but Aasimar would probably be slightly more thematically appropriate. I figure starting as a Hexblade models her initially limited availability of her power, with the shift into Sorcery as she fully connects to the Moonstone and starts pulling out spells more often.), Bow as an Arcane Archer, possibly with a dip into Artificer (and enough Charisma to power the Inspiring Leader feat), Double Trouble as a College of Whispers Bard/Mastermind Rogue, and Sea Hawk as College of Swords Bard dipping into the Oath of the Open Sea Paladin from Critical Role (or just Fighter or Swashbuckler Rogue)?
If your dm is a nerd and doesn't let you play a variant human Bladesinger, play a half-orc instead. Pros: boosted con and relentless endurance for some more anime levels of sustain, a flat strength score, and better crits from savage attacker. Plus half-orcs are hot. Cons: you miss out on a feat and get no relevant ability score boosts, so you'll have to push those ASIs a lot Verdict: Half-orcs are hot, play a half-orc Weiss
I totally understand why you don't give the *entire* list of Wizard spells that a character could take, but for the sake of folks who may want to fully play this character, here are a few more Weiss spells that I think would really fit her: -Fog Cloud (for Freezerburn) -Tiny Servant (for the little baby Arma Gigas she summons on occasion) -Mordenkainen's Faithful Hound (for the criminally-underused Boarbatusk summon that she's made literally just the once) -Steel Wind Strike (feels self-explanatory, she does this a lot) -Far Step (for when having 100 feet of movement per round just isn't fast enough and you have to *literally* teleport) -Bigby's Hand (just say it's holding a sword) -Mordenkainen's Sword (see above) -Illusory Dragon (for when your Weiss slays and therefore learns to summon a giant Nevermore) That's just what popped into my head! Thanks for reading. (also take Tenser's Transformation if you want to hit *even harder* than you already do with Bladesong but that doesn't *really* fit her character so)
She's made Boarbatuesk twice. Once at the ball in V4, and again to spook Nora at dinner in the house in V5. She's never used it in combat, but really, it's a low-level grimm.

I honestly hate that they added summoning to Weiss' kit. The writers completely devalued her character after that. Weiss' semblance is criminally OP but since the introduction of summons she always, always tries to go for some big ass summon and she gets capped for it every damn time. Her fighting style went from an actual three dimensional combat with so much options to a sitting duck with no critical thinking in a fight.
@@zahariusgallicchio I have to disagree. Although that was true of the fight in V5, in V6, the only time she summoned was at the end of the volume for the fight vs the mecha, and the kaiju, and in both cases the summon was a definite addition to the fight. She didn't summon for either the fight on the train, or vs the apathy. Her fight v Marrow in 7 you could argue she was overly stationary, playing a support role to her own summons, however, she didn't summon during the fights either in the opening episode, or for the battle in the mines. In addition, the fight Marrow was a good fight, and she got a much needed solo win.

Winnipeg has an average Jan of -18c, and a record of -45 c, or -41 f. It is the coldest city south of the arctic circle, and is colder than most that are north of it. We don't call it Winter-peg for nothing.

Blade Singers be like: "I can't take too many hits, good luck landing one though!" Also if you ever make an Extremely Powerful Villain from RWBY build, do you think you'll have another Boss Battle video like the Thanos one?
The best bet for the villain would probably be Hazel or Salem. Hazel- Bear Totem Barbarian 12/Dragon Monk 8 with Fighting Initiate (Unarmed)- Resistance to all but psychic damage with Rage and hits like a magical truck. Not sure what a Salem build would be; definitely a crapload of healing spells (used on herself) and some solid damage options.
Episode #213 of the Fire Emblem stats: Weiss Schnee. Welp, the final RWBY character is upon us, so you know the drill. She's good with swords and reason and is bad with lances, brawling, and faith. Her best stats are in dexterity and luck, and her worst stat is definitely speed.
str and con; she's usually the first of team RWBY to be taken out of the fight. She is also the slowest on the team, true, but this is a team that includes a ninja, a girl who literally shoots herself forward, and another girl that teleports herself in a swirl of rose petals
This is probably my favorite build. I love all your builds but this is the first one I've sorta used. I played as a drow and used fire spells but it was otherwise the same. This build also made me interested in watching Rwby. Tuluk you're awesome
Powerbuilding yes, but not in character for Wiess. Still, Tulok left a lot of open options for taking new spells, so adding it in wouldn't change anything.
Love it. Love having a finished RWBY Team. Only thing I would've liked is a bit bigger focus on her summoning things. I know you get more spells than you go over so obviously anyone playing this can just grab them anyway but still.
Summoning was literally the worst thing to be added to Weiss' kit in the show. It took her fighting style from something interesting and quite literally 3 dimensional to "stand still and get capped" and I hate it. Weiss' semblance is hilariously OP but all of that gets ignored for big glowy knight/bee/bird.
Well, this was fun, it's always nice to get the whole team together for some proper party dynamics. That all said, I don't think I've seen any characters from Log Horizon make an appearance on the build, granted, roughly half the main cast are still low to mid level, but the other half is high level characters, not mention there's going to be a bit less guess work (for the most part, the Guardian Class is clearly a kind of Fighter but one that excels at taunting and drawing attention away from their allies and there is yet to be an official Fighter subclass that does that, I think anything like that has made any sort of appearance in Unearthed Arcana yet) when it comes to the characters because the series basically tells you what class/subclass the characters are. Also, in case Tulok is still on the fence about Log Horizon one the high level characters, Shiroe, is an Enchanter with proficiency in Calligraphy and Cartography, and he's usually teamed up with a character that is really good taking hits, Notsougu, and an Assassin doing their best into specing into being an authentic ninja as possible, Akatsuki, within the confines of the game they are basically stuck in. If you need some help trying to figure out how an authentic ninja is supposed to look like, especially in D&D, then go and check out Gaijin Goombah's Which Ninja? series, he even includes his take on what building Ninja in D&D could look like, also take a look at the comments for that videos since quite a few people put their thoughts on what building a Ninja in D&D could look in the comments, quite a few even explain why the build is structured the way it is. Although building any character from Log Horizon might be a bit of daunting task, seeing as you will have all the Light Novels, Mangas, and Anime to basically slog through, there is a lot of stuff packed into all of that. And chances are you probably will want to take notes on every named character from the series in case those end up winning the build vote.
Cavalier Fighter and Crown Paladin are both based around protecting allies; perhaps one of those could work for Guardian. Not watched Log Horizon though, so not sure on how accurate they'd be.
Honestly you could get 90% of the build concept from the first season alone. As for Guardian, there are a few options. Battle Master (Fighter) Maneuvers can offer some tanking options, and the 6th level Oath of Redemption (Paladin) Class feature lets you take damage for others. There's also Cavalier (Fighter) which offers many tanking options, including a class feature that's a slightly improved Sentinel feat. Alternately, you could just take the Sentinel feat at some point. Constitution and Strength are your focuses - in that order, as you're focused on absorbing damage, not dealing it - and Wisdom and Charisma are your dump stats. Remember, the big tiddy Guild Master likes you because you're big, not because you're an open pervert. I'd say that trying to make a Shiroe build is difficult, but a lot of his spells give me a Druid vibe, despite the fact that he doesn't transform into animals or summon. He's focused on buffs and crowd control, to which the Druid spell list lends itself. A key point in this build is playing with a DM that's fine with you making your own spells, or at least altering existing spells. This is fun, but can be difficult to balance. From my perspective a player's self-made spells should be more powerful than what's on offer (except something like fireball, of course) because otherwise WHAT'S EVEN THE POINT? However this can lead to unbalancing the party, which tends to be un-fun.
@@adamlawther6356 Log Horizon has 2 seasons now, but season 3 is supposed to be starting up next year. That said, a lot of material is glossed over in the anime so to get a full read on what everyone can do it is necessary to go through the Light Novels (original source material) and tie-in manga series (there are like 3 of those) to get a more comprehensive read on things. You can find the second season a Hulu but you'll have to look somewhere else for the first season, I have no idea why they only have the second season but on the first there though

i'd probably go point buy to more easily max out dex and int, and taken the extra level in fighter for action surge take defensive duelist for human feat, so reaction would be +6 to ac instead of +5 from shield, and in shield's place, take absorb elements from xanathar's guide. for me, the +1 to ac is worth the loss of constant resistance to cold, but also gives the utility of resistance to acid, fire, lightning, or thunder damage

Also bladesinger is being updated in new books. Bladesing equal to your proficiency per long rest if im not mistaken and not eleven req as well. Probly should've waited till tashas book comes out in about 2 weeks

Great video and bladesinger will be altered in Tasha's cauldron of everything and according to leak's race restrictions is removed and blade cantrips can be used as a part of extra attack. And if you take fighter as your first level you will have proficiency in constitution saving throws and more HP. For power build take blink, mirror image, blur and war caster feet
Since there are open learned spells for this build, could I recommend the Sword Burst cantrip, the Steel Wind Strike Spell, and the Misty Step/Far Step/Thunder Step spells? I feel like those would be in character.
Not gonna lie, I got a little nostalgic seeing that OG White trailer footage. A friend and I still disagree over whether the fight in that was real or merely a projection of how Weiss sees her studies
It's canonically real. Both the facial scar she retained, and her ability to summon the knight as a defeated foe shows that that battle was real. The only argument left is whether it was a giest grimm (I don't see the mask which indicates possession), or if it was a summon of her sister's used for training (which still begs the question where did Winter get it from?). The real answer would be that it's a trailer made before a lot of the lore was carved in stone, and so doesn't hold to the rules that have since been established.
She has a scar from the fight. I can understand that the metaphor might be stretched to cover that, but it would most certainly be a stretch. There's also the question of whether or not the writers put that much thought into it. But fun head canons allow us to take things beyond what the writers intended, so to each their own.

She's is a very elegant fighter and there's nothing saying fighter's can't be but swashbucklers are all about basically dancing through battle and not getting hit and that's kind of Weiss's whole deal. - Conjuration Wizard: When she isn't stabbing things with her rapier she's shooting dust all over the place with her most powerful abilities being related to summoning giant creatures out of ice to fight for her.
I had a DM that made me roll for the kind of animals I summoned whenever my Druid used Conjure Animals, but I'm pretty sure he was doing it out of spite because I kept breaking his encounters with it.

But like imagine if instead of magic weapon for your 2nd-level at will spell, you did Shadow Blade from Xanathar's. An extra die of damage and it's throwable (not far, but still). And you could upcast it if you needed to do so for up to 5d8 damage a hit with a 7th level spell. It's not ice damage (it's psychic) but still so good.

@@ColdSkinGamer yeah, I don't remember who it was (I watch a lot of dnd stuff) but someone I watched said it was kind of underwhelming, particularly compared to eldritch knight. They talked about how the eldritch knight can make multiple attacks and has the cantrip ability, but I don't think they really looked at the high level spell combos. Again, they didn't say it was bad, just meh when compared to the other martial spellcaster options like eldritch knight and paladin.

Tasha’s cut the Elf or Half-elf only requirement for Bladesinger and changed their 6th level ability too!
Edit: it also changed the amount of uses of Bladesong and made it recharged on a long rest.
Sadly, by the time of this video's release, Tasha's isn't *officially* out yet, so he's gotta stick with the Sword Coast book.
That being said, it is to his benefit that Tasha's is effectively lifting the requirement for Bladesinger. ^^

It'll also introduce the Summon Construct spell, which (depending on the details on the spell; it was the only "Summon" spell in Tasha's that didn't already appear in UA) would make a solid way for Weiss to summon her knight before the endgame of a campaign.
(Also, Tasha's Bladesingers have the ability to swap out one of their Attack-action attacks for a cantrip, which opens up Green-Flame Blade and Booming Blade as options.)

Reverse Gravity is one of my favorite spells. If you're in an enclosed space that's big enough, you can straight deal up to 20d6 damage in an area with a 7th level spellslot. It has to be a perfect size for this to happen, but I can dream.
I mean just do it outside? As a DM. My minor villain had this spell, and the fear of fall damage alone was enough to send my party into a panic. Not mentioning the fact that I also cast transmute rock under them. Dropped them into the mud. Then casting dispel magic to turn it back into stone, and freeze them still.

@@awesomechainsaw Yeah doing it anywhere without a ceiling gives you access to a 10d6 fall damage spell, but that's lower damage than upcasting lower spells. If there's a 100 foot high ceiling though, then targets fall twice, once they'll hit the ceiling, then you can drop concentration and have them hit the ground. Even without that many creatures are left helplessly dangling in the air though.

Glad to see best girl RWBY getting some love. Though I would recommend using point buy for such a MAD character. That was you can cap off both Dex and Int AND squeeze in 2 levels of Fighter instead of just 1 for a few extra health points and Action surge. Is it stronger? Yes, but that's not the point. If you are making a burst speed character and you don't have Haste up, Action surge has you covered. Shout out to Steel Wind Strike

@@apex2000 You trade the level 19 of the Wiz which gives you an extra ASI/Feat and a level 6 spell slot. Since with a point buy you still max out your important stats personally i think it's worth it two have 2 levels of Fighter, don't sleep on Action Surge and a few extra hit points. Usually I love to RP use it in situations where the character is stressed for one reason or another and its do or die time, plus hey, short brake options. If you really wanna rob yourself of such a cool RP and mechanical option though, grab the Tough feat and just get 40 extra HP at level 20. While obviously insanely good keep in mind numbers are boring, abilities are always more fun. Sorry for the long reply, as you can probably guess we are all passionate about tabletop on this channel lol.

@@Bs11_game That's how I did my Weiss build, 5 lvls College of Swords Bard and 15 lvls Bladesinger Wizard. I figured that the degree of education that Weiss would have undergone in her training to be heiress for the SDC would be reflected by the Jack of All Trades ability, and I took Bard to lvl 5 to get Font of Inspiration, so she could refresh her Bardic inspiration and Flourishes every short rest rather than long rest.
When do I thought about a Weiss D&D character, I thought more of a Sword College Bard. Only because of magic Secrets and beign able to conjure that Guardian from the Cleric spell list. But the build is very interesting as well
It does work with Wiess's musical background, but I don't know if Wiess actually plays an instrument. Her singing is amazing, but she always has someone else play the music. The guardian from cleric spells is a better match for the knight summon, as he's not actually ice either.
@@bskec2177 yeah, I totally agree. The singing was actually part of the ispiration, but the Sword College has a weapon as a spellcasting Focus, so she doesn't need a instrument.
Bard doesn’t really get access to most of the spells weiss needs outside of magical secrets (haste, any ice spells, sone fire stuff, whirlwind etc.) and with only six magical secret spell it would always leave some spell out.

He's definitely a Battle Smith (Artificer) given that Norm must be a Steel Defender. From there, get creative with spells and infusions. The only downside is you'll have to choose a few regular -inators as you can only change them on level-up. Unless your DM is cool. Intelligence is your primary stat, followed by Constitution (you get beat up by a platypus everyday and bounce right back), Charisma (you and said platypus end up as friends, sort of. Frenemies), Wisdom, Dex, and Strength. Those last three can and should be dumped.

I'd never touched 5e until I decided to build Weiss in it (3.5e is both my paradise and my prison). I made her a high-elf since I tend to be a bit of a rules lawyer. Nice to see I wasn't too far off with the stats too. Fun!

I feel like starting off with a magic class like wizard/sorcerer/warlock is pretty realistic for RWBY characters given mage armor allows you to get aura covered right away.
I'm excited to see more of best girl in volume 8 tomorrow.
The paladin made a friend at Armor Class University. Her mame was Weiss
But seriously. A paladin caps out at around 27 Armor Class with no spells. With haste, it becomes 29, cast Shield o' Faith on yourself, it becomes 31, and, if you so choose, take the Magic Initiate Feat for Sorcerers, get that sweet, sweet +5 to Armor Class, or, if you have at least 13 Dex, go snag that +prof bon from Defensive Duelist whilst wielding a Rapier and Shield, and you got yourself 36-37 for a split second. But wait! That was Heavy and Medium Armor. Wanna see what shenanigans we can do with Light Armor? So, with around 24 Dexterity (perfectly acceptable for a 20th level character, as the Barbarian gets a capstone of 24 at 20th level), Studded Leather Armor of the +3 variety, a Rapier, a Shield of the +3 variety, and Defensive Duelist, we have 15+7+5+1+2+2+6.
15+7 is 22, +1 is 23, +4 is 27, +5 is 32, +6 is 38. And that is on the lower end. Wanna see some real shit?
You want to ask your DM about this, as it uses Max Dex and Con (we are multiclassing into Barbarian y'all).
So, we have a base of 10, add 10 from Constitution, then add 10 from Dexterity. You have 30. Add 5 from Shield, then add 4 from your spells. That's 39. Add 6 from your Defensive Duelist Rapier, and you got an armor class of the terrifying number of 45, as much as Tiamat, if not, _more_

I play a bladesinger, and I love it so much. To fix the low Wizard HP problem, I ended up getting an Amulet of Health which makes my con score 19 at base. It has officially turned me into the offtank of the party lol
I did the same thing with my bladesinger Wizard. Add the Tough feat and good rolls for HP on level ups, and i was 2nd highest HP after the barbarian. XD
I showed the sheet to another dnd friend and he said "thats illegal. Wizards should not have that much health."

Speaking of finishing teams, I've been toying around with some She-Ra builds--might I suggest to you, Glimmer as a Hexblade/Divine Soul Sorcerer (I went Variant Human to nab the Fey Touched feat at first level to start with Misty Step, but Aasimar would probably be slightly more thematically appropriate. I figure starting as a Hexblade models her initially limited availability of her power, with the shift into Sorcery as she fully connects to the Moonstone and starts pulling out spells more often.), Bow as an Arcane Archer, possibly with a dip into Artificer (and enough Charisma to power the Inspiring Leader feat), Double Trouble as a College of Whispers Bard/Mastermind Rogue, and Sea Hawk as College of Swords Bard dipping into the Oath of the Open Sea Paladin from Critical Role (or just Fighter or Swashbuckler Rogue)?
If your dm is a nerd and doesn't let you play a variant human Bladesinger, play a half-orc instead.
Pros: boosted con and relentless endurance for some more anime levels of sustain, a flat strength score, and better crits from savage attacker. Plus half-orcs are hot.
Cons: you miss out on a feat and get no relevant ability score boosts, so you'll have to push those ASIs a lot
Verdict: Half-orcs are hot, play a half-orc Weiss
I totally understand why you don't give the *entire* list of Wizard spells that a character could take, but for the sake of folks who may want to fully play this character, here are a few more Weiss spells that I think would really fit her:
-Fog Cloud (for Freezerburn)
-Tiny Servant (for the little baby Arma Gigas she summons on occasion)
-Mordenkainen's Faithful Hound (for the criminally-underused Boarbatusk summon that she's made literally just the once)
-Steel Wind Strike (feels self-explanatory, she does this a lot)
-Far Step (for when having 100 feet of movement per round just isn't fast enough and you have to *literally* teleport)
-Bigby's Hand (just say it's holding a sword)
-Mordenkainen's Sword (see above)
-Illusory Dragon (for when your Weiss slays and therefore learns to summon a giant Nevermore)

She's made Boarbatuesk twice. Once at the ball in V4, and again to spook Nora at dinner in the house in V5. She's never used it in combat, but really, it's a low-level grimm.

I honestly hate that they added summoning to Weiss' kit. The writers completely devalued her character after that. Weiss' semblance is criminally OP but since the introduction of summons she always, always tries to go for some big ass summon and she gets capped for it every damn time. Her fighting style went from an actual three dimensional combat with so much options to a sitting duck with no critical thinking in a fight.
@@zahariusgallicchio I have to disagree. Although that was true of the fight in V5, in V6, the only time she summoned was at the end of the volume for the fight vs the mecha, and the kaiju, and in both cases the summon was a definite addition to the fight. She didn't summon for either the fight on the train, or vs the apathy.
Her fight v Marrow in 7 you could argue she was overly stationary, playing a support role to her own summons, however, she didn't summon during the fights either in the opening episode, or for the battle in the mines. In addition, the fight Marrow was a good fight, and she got a much needed solo win.
This might be your best build Tulok and that's saying something. It captures Weiss perfectly and looks crazy fun to play. Great job!

Winnipeg has an average Jan of -18c, and a record of -45 c, or -41 f. It is the coldest city south of the arctic circle, and is colder than most that are north of it. We don't call it Winter-peg for nothing.

Ye. Someone above made a good point about this being a build where the point buy would be a better choice than standard array for this build because you want Int and Dex max so badly on this.
Personally, having the capped dex feels a lot better than having a once per rest ability.

The best bet for the villain would probably be Hazel or Salem.
Hazel- Bear Totem Barbarian 12/Dragon Monk 8 with Fighting Initiate (Unarmed)- Resistance to all but psychic damage with Rage and hits like a magical truck.

Welp, the final RWBY character is upon us, so you know the drill. She's good with swords and reason and is bad with lances, brawling, and faith.
Her best stats are in dexterity and luck, and her worst stat is definitely speed.
I'd say her lowest stat would be str
str and con; she's usually the first of team RWBY to be taken out of the fight.
She is also the slowest on the team, true, but this is a team that includes a ninja, a girl who literally shoots herself forward, and another girl that teleports herself in a swirl of rose petals
The Bladesinger subclass is also available in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.

This is probably my favorite build. I love all your builds but this is the first one I've sorta used. I played as a drow and used fire spells but it was otherwise the same. This build also made me interested in watching Rwby. Tuluk you're awesome

Powerbuilding yes, but not in character for Wiess. Still, Tulok left a lot of open options for taking new spells, so adding it in wouldn't change anything.
Love it. Love having a finished RWBY Team. Only thing I would've liked is a bit bigger focus on her summoning things. I know you get more spells than you go over so obviously anyone playing this can just grab them anyway but still.
Summoning was literally the worst thing to be added to Weiss' kit in the show. It took her fighting style from something interesting and quite literally 3 dimensional to "stand still and get capped" and I hate it. Weiss' semblance is hilariously OP but all of that gets ignored for big glowy knight/bee/bird.
With SCAG revisions to Bladesinger I’m excited to do this, and make my own version of Booming Blade/Green Flame Blade flavored for ice.

Well, this was fun, it's always nice to get the whole team together for some proper party dynamics. That all said, I don't think I've seen any characters from Log Horizon make an appearance on the build, granted, roughly half the main cast are still low to mid level, but the other half is high level characters, not mention there's going to be a bit less guess work (for the most part, the Guardian Class is clearly a kind of Fighter but one that excels at taunting and drawing attention away from their allies and there is yet to be an official Fighter subclass that does that, I think anything like that has made any sort of appearance in Unearthed Arcana yet) when it comes to the characters because the series basically tells you what class/subclass the characters are. Also, in case Tulok is still on the fence about Log Horizon one the high level characters, Shiroe, is an Enchanter with proficiency in Calligraphy and Cartography, and he's usually teamed up with a character that is really good taking hits, Notsougu, and an Assassin doing their best into specing into being an authentic ninja as possible, Akatsuki, within the confines of the game they are basically stuck in.
If you need some help trying to figure out how an authentic ninja is supposed to look like, especially in D&D, then go and check out Gaijin Goombah's Which Ninja? series, he even includes his take on what building Ninja in D&D could look like, also take a look at the comments for that videos since quite a few people put their thoughts on what building a Ninja in D&D could look in the comments, quite a few even explain why the build is structured the way it is.
Although building any character from Log Horizon might be a bit of daunting task, seeing as you will have all the Light Novels, Mangas, and Anime to basically slog through, there is a lot of stuff packed into all of that. And chances are you probably will want to take notes on every named character from the series in case those end up winning the build vote.
Cavalier Fighter and Crown Paladin are both based around protecting allies; perhaps one of those could work for Guardian. Not watched Log Horizon though, so not sure on how accurate they'd be.
Honestly you could get 90% of the build concept from the first season alone. As for Guardian, there are a few options. Battle Master (Fighter) Maneuvers can offer some tanking options, and the 6th level Oath of Redemption (Paladin) Class feature lets you take damage for others. There's also Cavalier (Fighter) which offers many tanking options, including a class feature that's a slightly improved Sentinel feat. Alternately, you could just take the Sentinel feat at some point. Constitution and Strength are your focuses - in that order, as you're focused on absorbing damage, not dealing it - and Wisdom and Charisma are your dump stats. Remember, the big tiddy Guild Master likes you because you're big, not because you're an open pervert.
I'd say that trying to make a Shiroe build is difficult, but a lot of his spells give me a Druid vibe, despite the fact that he doesn't transform into animals or summon. He's focused on buffs and crowd control, to which the Druid spell list lends itself. A key point in this build is playing with a DM that's fine with you making your own spells, or at least altering existing spells. This is fun, but can be difficult to balance. From my perspective a player's self-made spells should be more powerful than what's on offer (except something like fireball, of course) because otherwise WHAT'S EVEN THE POINT? However this can lead to unbalancing the party, which tends to be un-fun.
@@adamlawther6356 Log Horizon has 2 seasons now, but season 3 is supposed to be starting up next year. That said, a lot of material is glossed over in the anime so to get a full read on what everyone can do it is necessary to go through the Light Novels (original source material) and tie-in manga series (there are like 3 of those) to get a more comprehensive read on things. You can find the second season a Hulu but you'll have to look somewhere else for the first season, I have no idea why they only have the second season but on the first there though

i'd probably go point buy to more easily max out dex and int, and taken the extra level in fighter for action surge
take defensive duelist for human feat, so reaction would be +6 to ac instead of +5 from shield, and in shield's place, take absorb elements from xanathar's guide. for me, the +1 to ac is worth the loss of constant resistance to cold, but also gives the utility of resistance to acid, fire, lightning, or thunder damage

Great video and bladesinger will be altered in Tasha's cauldron of everything and according to leak's race restrictions is removed and blade cantrips can be used as a part of extra attack.
And if you take fighter as your first level you will have proficiency in constitution saving throws and more HP.

Since there are open learned spells for this build, could I recommend the Sword Burst cantrip, the Steel Wind Strike Spell, and the Misty Step/Far Step/Thunder Step spells? I feel like those would be in character.

Not gonna lie, I got a little nostalgic seeing that OG White trailer footage. A friend and I still disagree over whether the fight in that was real or merely a projection of how Weiss sees her studies

It's canonically real. Both the facial scar she retained, and her ability to summon the knight as a defeated foe shows that that battle was real. The only argument left is whether it was a giest grimm (I don't see the mask which indicates possession), or if it was a summon of her sister's used for training (which still begs the question where did Winter get it from?).
The real answer would be that it's a trailer made before a lot of the lore was carved in stone, and so doesn't hold to the rules that have since been established.
She has a scar from the fight. I can understand that the metaphor might be stretched to cover that, but it would most certainly be a stretch. There's also the question of whether or not the writers put that much thought into it. But fun head canons allow us to take things beyond what the writers intended, so to each their own.

- I'm actually going to go with Swashbuckler Rogue for Weiss. She's is a very elegant fighter and there's nothing saying fighter's can't be but swashbucklers are all about basically dancing through battle and not getting hit and that's kind of Weiss's whole deal.
- Conjuration Wizard: When she isn't stabbing things with her rapier she's shooting dust all over the place with her most powerful abilities being related to summoning giant creatures out of ice to fight for her.

I had a DM that made me roll for the kind of animals I summoned whenever my Druid used Conjure Animals, but I'm pretty sure he was doing it out of spite because I kept breaking his encounters with it.

I usually house rule that the Conjurer in question needs to have the stats of what they summon ready.
But like imagine if instead of magic weapon for your 2nd-level at will spell, you did Shadow Blade from Xanathar's. An extra die of damage and it's throwable (not far, but still). And you could upcast it if you needed to do so for up to 5d8 damage a hit with a 7th level spell. It's not ice damage (it's psychic) but still so good.
